Back Playsuits & Pretty Roses
I know my recent outfits are causing a divide between some of you, ha ha. I’ve had numerous comments on my social media about me constantly wearing playsuits or dresses, and most of you miss the denim, but trust me, it’s not by choice. Since us Brits are used to cold, wet, grey weather for 90% of the year, it means I can usually always wear jeans, however we are having a crazy summer and it’s been about 30C since the beginning of June now, and since I can’t regulate my temperature, I have to wear as little clothing as possible, which is why my playsuits and dresses are serving me so well at the moment. I miss my jeans as much as you do, and I’m longing for Autumn so that I can wear them again. I miss all of my layering outfits, especially my jackets! I did wear white jeans with a floral top in my last outfit post, which we shot in the evening, but even that was uncomfortable for me, so I am doing my best! Hopefully you can come to love my summer style as something additional and different to what you’re used to!
Now that’s out of the way, for this outfit on a day that was 31C, I kept it as simple as I possibly could. I wore my H&M Black Playsuit as it’s made from the thinnest cotton and is really breezy, I styled it with my Moschino Bear Slides, then finished it off with my Valentino Lock Bag in Ivory, and a pair of Ray-Ban Rainbow Aviators. It’s as simple as it comes, but I like easy looks like this as they don’t require a lot of thought and allow you to breathe. You might recognise the bracelet I had on too as it was the Stella & Dot x Starlight charity bracelet I featured on my Instagram here. It’s so fashionable and cute, yet for a good cause – it doesn’t get better than that!
Speaking of Instagram, I wanted to say a huge thank you to you all because I just hit 70,000 followers last week! You’re all so wonderful! For those of you who don’t follow me on Instagram, I definitely recommend that you do as it’s an extension of my blog and I always post exclusive photos, videos, new purchases, what I’m up to etc, as well as hosting Q&A’s on my stories! It’s a lot more interactive and in real time, so follow me @LornaRaindrops to keep up to date! Anyway, what do you think of my outfit? Lorna xx.
P.S. – How pretty is the setting here? I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to do my photos outside this beautiful floral house. It was hilarious though, when I was posing by the door, the lady who lived there opened it and I instinctively tried to move away, but she found it funny and said I was more than welcome to take photos and even smell the roses #BloggerProblems ha ha!
