Hello Lorna! LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog! I just got my very first pair of CL today! I live in New York so I went to his boutique on Madison Avenue. I felt like a kid in a candy store! LOL Anyway I had my heart set on Pigalle 120mm but to be honest once I actually tried them on they made my feet look horrible. I’ve always thought I had narrow feet.. that is until I tried on THAT shoe! I can get used to the toe cleavage look but what I couldn’t get used to is how part of the side of my feet stuck out of the shoes as well. They looked like they don’t fit but boy was I in LOVE with the 120mm. Of course the saleswoman told me that she didn’t have anything in 120mm that didn’t have that same look/effect to them. I ended up on settling (how funny to say CL shoes and settling in the same sentence?! hahah) on the Elisa 100mm. While I still have the toe cleavage (which is growing on me) they fit perfectly on the sides. My only problem, which so many other women seem to share in, is the itty bitty tiny toe box. The left one isn’t as uncomfortable as the right one and my saleswoman did stretch the right one out for me in the area of the little toe. She did insist they would stretch out more on their own (they are black patent leather). My question is this.. do you think the sock trick will work? also, do you find the sock stretches them out where you don’t want them stretched out (i.e. they fit perfect everywhere else). silly question.. do i cut a pair or two of socks so that i’m just wearing the toe portion of them so I just stretch out only the area that needs stretching? Thanks in advance for your help! I love reading this blog and hearing about all the fun shoes everyone is getting! πŸ˜€

Hi Christa! I’m glad you love my blog so much, thank you! I know what you mean about the Pigalle. I have thin feet myself and some of his shoes make my feet hang over the side too. I don’t like that look either. Yours will definitely stretch out. What I do with my socks is don’t have them fully up, you fold half of them down so you have a double sock around your toes, see if that works, that’s what works perfectly for me and then you don’t get them stretched out in places you don’t want lol πŸ™‚

Does it matter if the crystals are foil back? Or do you have experience with that? Thanks! beautiful shoes & great blog!

Hi Lisa, yeah they should be foil back. You can get hot fix ones with glue already on the back of them, but those are tricky to use on shoes because you have to had a heated appliance to melt the glue. You should use the foil back with separate glue. Good luck!
