Saint Laurent 5 A 7 Bag Review

Saint Laurent 5 A 7 Bag Review I am super excited to be sharing this bag with you! The last designer bag that I purchased was my Louis Vuitton Mini Palm Springs Backpack, back in the Summer of 2020, so it’s been over a year and a half since I got a new bag. I was originally saving up for a Saint Laurent Kate, with the gold tassel, and I do still love that bag a lot, but after having spent 7 weeks away from home with only an affordable shoulder bag (by House of Want) and my Louis Vuitton, I found myself gravitating towards the shoulder bag as it was just so easy to carry and use! I kept seeing the Saint Laurent 5 A 7 Bag around on people, and I began to fall head over heels in love with it! So, I started putting my savings towards this bag instead. Then something amazing happened while I was in the United States, Matches Fashion had sent me a £300 off coupon (they do this a few times a year) to be spent on an order over £1000. The Saint Laurent 5 A 7 was actually sold out on their website though, so I got in touch with their customer service to see if it would be restocked, and low and behold, a return had been made and was going to be put back in stock in two days time! I got really excited by this as there was just one of these bags available, and I had to make sure I got it! I set my alarm for…

Why You Need These 6 Classic Mulberry Bags

Why I Love Mulberry & 6 Classic Bags To Buy I’ve had a bit of a roller coaster ride with Mulberry over the years. It was my first designer bag brand that I truly loved and that was back in 2011, I even met the founder, Roger Saul, at Kilver Court in Shepton Mallet where the brand was founded (there’s still an outlet shop there where I bought my very first Mulberry bag) as it’s not too far from my city of Bath. I used to love the fact that the bag designs were classic, yet cool, and were definitely affordable compared to other high end designers. I own 6 Mulberry bags which I pretty much got between 2011-2013 and after that, I sort of went off the brand a bit in favour of others, and I will tell you why. Instead of all Mulberry bags being made in England where their factory was, they started outsourcing to China and Turkey which I thought was a bit unfair. Some were still made in England, but the majority were not and they were still keeping the same price tag even though they weren’t being made here. This really did put me off as they had had an increase in prices too, which I thought wasn’t right given the facts. However, a couple of years ago the brand did quite a large price increase (compared to what they used to cost) and I was even more shocked, but I didn’t realise why at the time. Anyway, I wore my Mulberry Lily in Oak on holiday a few weeks ago (see here) and…

Jacquemus Le Chiquito Noeud Bag Review

Jacquemus Le Chiquito Noeud Bag Review This is my very first Jacquemus bag! Isn’t it cute? This is the Le Chiquito Noeud Bag in Pink, and I couldn’t take my eyes off of it when I first saw it online! I was pretty quick when I decided to buy this bag, so now it’s unfortunately sold out before I got chance to do the review, but they do have a couple of other colours left that you can pick up! I just thought this bright shade of pink will be a perfect Summer colour and go with a lot of my dresses! The Design & Details – As you can see, the unique detail about this particular Jacquemus bag is that the handle is doubled over, so you can twist it down into the double circle that it shows in some pictures, or you can untwist it into a long length handle, so you can fit it on your shoulder as a shoulder bag. Plus, there’s also an extra cross-body strap inside that you can attach to wear the bag that way! So you can wear it 3 ways in one, and I think that’s incredibly cool! There’s the iconic Jacquemus gold logo on the bottom right of the body of the bag. It features a fold over flap with a magnetic press-stud fastening, a beige twill lining inside with a card slot, gold tone hardware, contrast white stitching, all while being designed in Italy. If you’re not familiar with the brand, they have this iconic design which is a square that gets larger as it goes downwards. I remember…

New Mulberry Pale Slate Bags For Summer

Mulberry Small Darley in Pale Slate As you know, I have been a fan of Mulberry since way back before 2010 when I opened this blog. It would be over 10 years now that I’ve loved the brand. My blog post that I wrote not long ago about the classic Mulberry bags that you need is one of my best performing posts this year, so I thought I would share with you the brand new colour leather from the brand that is gorgeous! It’s a perfect pale blue named ‘Pale Slate’ so I assume it has grey undertones, but what I am attracted to most, other than the cool and beautiful shade of leather, is the silver hardware. Usually Mulberry go for a brass or gold, so this is a nice change as I think this blue tone suits silver the most! It comes in almost all of their bag styles, accessories, and keyrings, as well as a 70’s print, but I’ve chosen 6 of my favourite Mulberry bags in Pale Slate to share with you! First up (above) is the Mulberry Small Darley (you might remember I reviewed it in Oak) and it’s my favourite that I have added to my wish list! The Small Darley is one of their iconic bags with the signature postman’s lock and is perfect for carrying essentials or valuables as it’s quite petite. It’s only 13cm by 19cm by 4.5cm, so you can see it’s the perfect small and compact design! I’m planning to check the Mulberry shop in Somerset soon as I drive past it, just to see how gorgeous this is…

Every new piece means a lot to me because I save up for them, so there’s a special place in my heart for each bag. My favourite thing is going to London and purchasing my designer bags in the boutiques, however since I live in Bath and it’s expensive as well as time consuming to travel to London, I also buy them online. Mulberry Small Darley Bag Review

Mulberry Small Darley Bag in Oak Review I know I said I would be doing a review for you on my Mulberry Lily in Oxblood that I got for my birthday, but as I haven’t yet worn that bag and so many of you have commented on this one on both my blog and my Instagram, I thought I would review my Mulberry Small Darley in Oak Natural Grain Leather for you instead! You already know that I picked this bag up at the Mulberry outlet in Bicester Village as a sub, which just means it didn’t have the quality standard to make it to the boutiques due to a couple of internal scratches, so I got it for 20% off instead. Internal marks don’t bother me and they’re only super small, and other than those couple of scratches, the bag is perfect! You wouldn’t even know it was a sub at all, it still has the craftsmanship and standard that their regular bags have, so I couldn’t wait to share it with you! Here’s my review below! Click here to buy Mulberry Darley Bags online at Mulberry.com The Darley Style The Darley is actually one of Mulberry’s most famous collections. It features their iconic signature postman’s lock in gold brass and comes in so many different designs. They have the Small and Regular Darley like this one, a cosmetics pouch, a wallet, a belt, gloves, and even a cute little satchel which is cheaper again. It’s a fantastic signature line and one you should definitely think about if you’re planning on getting a Mulberry bag. The Design Details This…

Joseph & Stacey A Mini Plus Lemon Bag Review

Joseph & Stacey A Mini Plus Lemon Bag Review I’m doing a review on a bag from a popular Korean brand specialising in luxury leather bags called Joseph & Stacey, who I am excited to be collaborating with. If you haven’t heard of them, they’re known for making fashion forward products which are functional at the same time, with cute designs that I instantly fell in love with. The bag that I chose to review is the Joseph & Stacey A Mini Plus Bag in Lemon as I thought it was perfect for the summer! The size of it is ideal for the type of bags that I like as it’s got a width of 20cm, a height of 17cm, and a depth of 10cm, so you can see in the modelled photo below that it’s a good size for me. The bag itself comes with either a leather or a chain strap, depending on what you want, but it was the details and colour that struck me. Made from a cowhide leather and available in Lemon, Mellow Rose, Ecru Beige, Whisper White, Chic Black, Lipstick Red, and Tourmaline Pink, I obviously chose the Lemon yellow as you can see. It’s like pure sunshine, or a primary shade, as it’s intense and vibrant, which is ideal for this time of year. It’s a streamlined design with a box like shape and a fold over flap closure. It also features a black enameled twist lock which I think adds something to the overall look and feel of the bag. Now the details of the bag are what I love – it…

How I Save Money For My Designer Purchases

How I Save Money To Buy Designer Items I thought I would do a blog post on how I save money and how I acquire my designer bags and shoes. I’ve often had people mistake me for being rich, having a trust fund, or something along those lines, but none of it is true. I still live at home, I run my own blogging business that I built up from my home myself, and I am not from a rich family at all, in fact we actually grew up without much money at all. With all this in mind though, I wanted to show you how I afford more expensive things sometimes, and how it’s possible. I don’t have children myself, so I know it can be a little more difficult for those of you who do though. I wanted to point out as well that I would never buy fake pieces. I’m completely against it due to it being illegal and funding awful things in foreign countries, as well as damaging the original designers brand and your own integrity. It’s not a route that should be taken in the fashion blogging industry, especially when you might have the chance of working with some of the brands. We all have things we love and spend our money on, whether that’s fashion, technology, cars, sports, gaming, collecting stamps etc, or my designer bags/shoes, so I will always do anything I can in order to take the authentic route and have investment pieces. I remember reading a blog post by Dominique on That New Dress last year on how she affords luxury…
