Coast Harrison Bardot Top With White Skinny Jeans
Happy Monday everyone! I feel like this weekend has flown by, but it’s been extremely busy. On Thursday I was helping Adam with a work photo shoot, which was amazing, but extremely tiring, then Friday was resting. Saturday was cleaning and tidying up, then doing some more on Sunday. It may seem like normal things, but I’ve been so tired and feeling sick from doing too much that I have been welcoming the working week, minus the heat.
One thing I do like about summer though is the pretty orange glow you get from the sun in the evenings – the golden hour. It creates such beauty in photos that I am extremely excited to be sharing this set with you that Adam and I shot a couple of weekends ago. How pretty is the background? Shot at a local farm, I think the sun shining off of the wheat fields was stunning!
Now getting to the outfit, I had been planning something like this for a while and I’m so glad I got to do it in the perfect setting with the right weather. It was of course hot, and I was sweltering wearing jeans, but for the art of fashion, that’s just something you have to do! This beautiful statement top is the COAST Harrison Floral Print Bardot Top and I actually ordered it on a whim, thinking I wouldn’t keep it, but as soon as I put it on, I fell in love. Even Adam said he adored it (more than I did) so that’s how I know it’s a keeper! I got a size 10 and it fits very true to size, and incredibly flattering too for an off the shoulder ruffle top, so I recommend it! It’s even better that it’s in the sale now!
As I wanted the COAST Top to be the focal point of the outfit, I went with neutrals for the rest. I opted for my AGOLDE Sophie Crop Skinny Jeans in White as I thought white would make the perfect summer base for a look like this as it’s clean and fresh. I got these white jeans in a size 27 last year and they’re wonderful jeans as they have functioning front pockets and the material isn’t too thin. AGOLDE is the sister brand of Citizens of Humanity, so you can see why I like them! I then chose my Celine Micro Belt Bag in Clay as it’s such a complementary shade, and then added in my Tamara Mellon Nude Heels. I kept the jewellery simple with my BVLGARI LVCEA Watch and my Kyoto Pearl Earrings. I also had my mermaid blue nails using my Little Ondine nail polish.
Much like my outfit last week when I was wearing a floral print of blue, green, and yellow, I’ve opted for something similar here with green, orange, and yellow in the form of the flowers that are adorning the Bardot top. It’s such a chic combination and I think opting for a colour palette like this really helps give a more sophisticated and polished appearance. It’s not something I would have worn before, so I’m enjoying mixing things up and trying out new looks. This one I am happy to report suits me very well and this top is something you’re going to be seeing a lot more of, styled differently. Anyway, what do you think of the outfit? Please let me know if you like the COAST Harrison top and the way I styled everything here in the comments below! Lorna xx.
