Jacquemus Le Chiquito Noeud Bag Review
This is my very first Jacquemus bag! Isn’t it cute? This is the Le Chiquito Noeud Bag in Pink, and I couldn’t take my eyes off of it when I first saw it online! I was pretty quick when I decided to buy this bag, so now it’s unfortunately sold out before I got chance to do the review, but they do have a couple of other colours left that you can pick up! I just thought this bright shade of pink will be a perfect Summer colour and go with a lot of my dresses!
The Design & Details – As you can see, the unique detail about this particular Jacquemus bag is that the handle is doubled over, so you can twist it down into the double circle that it shows in some pictures, or you can untwist it into a long length handle, so you can fit it on your shoulder as a shoulder bag. Plus, there’s also an extra cross-body strap inside that you can attach to wear the bag that way! So you can wear it 3 ways in one, and I think that’s incredibly cool! There’s the iconic Jacquemus gold logo on the bottom right of the body of the bag. It features a fold over flap with a magnetic press-stud fastening, a beige twill lining inside with a card slot, gold tone hardware, contrast white stitching, all while being designed in Italy. If you’re not familiar with the brand, they have this iconic design which is a square that gets larger as it goes downwards. I remember seeing this all over the fashion week circuit a few years ago in the really tiny design, but they’ve come a long way with all the various versions they have now!
The Size – This Jacquemus Le Chiquito Bag is pretty small and petite, as you can see, but it does fit my iPhone 11 and various other things, so it’s not too tiny like their miniature bags! The sizing is as follows: Width 18cm/7 inches, Height: 12cm/4.5 inches, Depth: 8cm/3 inches, Handle drop length: 10cm/4 inches, and Shoulder strap drop length: 53cm/31 inches. For reference, I am 5ft 4″ tall and my measurements are around 39″ bust, 28″ waist, and 40″ hips. I wear a dress size UK 8-10. You can see the different photos below of me modelling this bag to see what size it is against my body.
The Leather & Colour – This bag is made from 100% suede, but it feels so soft and a lot more like a nubuck in my opinion. It’s one of the softest feeling fabrics I have ever felt, so you will love it! I just hope it’s not going to mark or damage really easily. But getting to the colour, it’s incredible! It’s a super vibrant pink that is very similar to Barbie, but not as intense, so it’s more classy and wearable. I actually think it’s pretty wearable with many different things and injects an element of fun!
Overall Opinion – I absolutely love this bag and I’m really excited that I own it! It was my first Jacquemus bag, like I said, and it’s beyond cute! The size is ideal for me, I love wearing it over my shoulder, and it’s going to be perfect with my dresses! I actually can’t fault anything about the bag, except for when you untwist the handle, it sometimes isn’t fully straight on the seams, but that’s just what happens when you untwist fabric, it wont go fully straight. Other than that, I give it 9.5/10! Let me know what you think and if you own any of their bags too! Lorna xx.
And here’s a video review of this exact bag that I found on YouTube!
