3 New Outfits From Femme Luxe
You may remember last month that I shot a collaboration with Femme Luxe, featuring 3 different going out and nighttime looks, well I’m back again with a second set and I’m styling 3 different pieces again! One is a dress that’s perfect for the summer evenings, while the other 2 are lounge wear and perfect for running some simple errands or wearing around the home. I know you really liked the photos from the last collaboration, so this time I have included quite a few more, in all different angles. I really love doing shoots inside pretty hotel rooms as well, there’s always a different vibe about them! Scroll down to find out more about these pieces from Femme Luxe below!
This gorgeous dress is the Madonna Black Polka Dot Mini Mesh Dress and it’s so unique and cool! That’s not my underwear that you can see there, it’s actually the bodysuit section of the dress and the polka dot mesh skirt hangs over the top. I took a size UK10 in it and it fits perfectly, so I seem to be a pretty consistent size in this brand. It’s stretchy all over too, so it’s actually really comfortable to wear. You could easily dress this down with flats though for more of a skater vibe, but I dressed it up with my Christian Louboutin Pigalle and my Lulu Guinness Lips Clutch, just to add a pop of colour to the statement black. I genuinely love this dress though, I think it’s fantastic! I will say that you do need some confidence to wear it, due to the net skirt being see through and the underneath being a bodysuit, so it can be quite revealing, but if you’re ok with it, it looks fantastic! It does also come in white, but I think the black is much more flattering and easy to wear. It’s in the sale for only £18.99, which honestly you cannot go wrong with for that price!
This is the Blake Off The Shoulder Khaki Lounge Set and it’s one of my favourites! I wore it for lounging around in at the hotel when we were there shooting photos and it was really comfortable. I’m not usually a tracksuit type of person, but because this one is so different to the normal styles, it really stands out. I got a lot of compliments on it on Instagram stories and got told how flattering it was, and I do have to agree. I took the size S/M and it fits well, a little snug in the trousers, but otherwise it’s good. I think the off the shoulder vibe to the cropped jumper/sweater is the perfect addition to the high waisted bottoms. They both play off of each other really nicely and the Khaki green shade is stunning! I’ve always liked the earth tone greens and I think they suit my complexion quite well, so I need to wear them a lot more. At £15.99 though, you honestly cannot go wrong! There’s numerous colours so you can buy a few at a time for that price!
And last is the Blake Black Off The Shoulder Lounge Set which yes, is the same as the Khaki version above! I liked these sets so much that I got another colour as I thought Black would be a lot more versatile, and a shade you can dress up. Sometimes I worry about lighter colours not being so flattering, so getting a darker option was a strategic move just in case, but as it turns out, I like them both equally. Again, I went with a size S/M in this lounge set and it fits well. I decided to style this one with my Saint Laurent Sunglasses and my Alexander McQueen Oversized Sneakers, just to keep the casual theme running, but added in a bold red lip to make it stand out a bit more. Out of the two colours though, which one would you say you like the most? And of course, please do let me know what you think of the dress as well! I would love your opinions! Lorna xx.
