A White Leather Jacket With Linen Shorts Outfit
As I’m sitting here writing this blog post, looking out the window and looking at the sun, I really feel that it’s summer now. There’s been some beautiful sunsets lately and I’m enjoying that golden glow that spreads across the fields. When I look back at these photos that we shot in Lyme Regis almost 1 month ago, it’s crazy how quickly the time has gone by and how much I miss the scenery there. The Jurassic Coast is one of the most beautiful places, even when it’s raining, so I could definitely see myself moving down that way when the time is right, to be around a more scenic environment. Isn’t it just beautiful? These photos were shot at around 8pm on one of the evenings when the rain had cleared up, and the blue of it was very intense, which I think contrasts off the orange pebbles beautifully.
For my outfit, I wore a pair of Mango Linen Striped Beige Shorts that I bought a couple of months ago in their outlet for a bargain price, and paired them with a Mango Strappy Top too. As you can tell, I’m really loving their clothes at the moment, and the fact that these shorts have a paper bag style to them and a tie waist, which makes them really flattering. I also layered on my Allsaints Dalby Leather Jacket in White over the shoulders, to keep the chill at bay and paired these neutral tones with my Sam Edelman White Loafers. I have this leather jacket in blush pink and I adored it, so I waited for ages to pick up the white one, and love it so much! Then for my accessories, I wore my Loeffler Randall Basket Bag again, my Mango Shell Necklace (which I really recommend!), my Ray-Ban Sunglasses and some other jewellery bits.
As you have probably noticed, my style has changed a fair bit again and I’m preferring the look of linen pieces, flats and sneakers, and just a general different vibe. It’s funny how much we change over the years and the good thing about having a personal style blog is the fact that you document those changes through your outfit posts, which is always interesting to look back on and see how much you have developed. Anyway, as always, you can buy the pieces in the little scrolling apps below, and please do let me know what you think of this linen shorts and leather jacket outfit! I always love reading your comments! Lorna xx.
