Oversized Knits & Over The Knee Boots
First and foremost, I want to just say – THANK YOU! And I truly mean that from the bottom of my heart. I don’t consider myself a huge, super popular, rich blogger, but the amount of support you have all given me after reading my last blog post has been incredible, and made me rich with happiness. Not only are there loads of supportive comments on the article, but I’ve had tonnes of social media messages and emails as well from so many of you, all offering kind words and love, it’s been overwhelming. Just thinking about it now makes my eyes water to know how lucky I am, and how grateful I am, to have such an amazing community and network of people here. Some of you have even reached out from years ago when you started following me before 2010, and you’re still here! It’s just amazing. There were a few misunderstandings from some of you though, so to just clarify again, I am not quitting my blog entirely, closing it, or closing my social media, I’m changing the way I work with brands dramatically, and doing my blog as a hobby, not a career anymore. I’m not leaving any of you, and your supportive messages just reaffirm that. You’re all amazing!
Now moving onto this outfit, this is a look that I wore a few weeks ago to town for some shopping and lunch out with Adam. I was super excited to finally be able to wear my new boots (you might remember them from my Stuart Weitzman Tieland Boots Review post) that I got in Bicester in August, and put together an Autumn outfit! I paired the boots with my PAIGE Margot Skinny Jeans, and layered on my old Zara Oversized Fluffy Knit in Cream. I actually got this jumper last year in the sale, and hadn’t had a chance to wear it, but it’s amazing. It also acts as a dress if you want it to. To finish the look off, I decided to break out my Mansur Gavriel Bucket Bag again (worn before here), and wear my Ray-Ban Cat Eye Sunglasses. It was a tad warm, then cold, so it was the ideal outfit to choose. Funnily enough, I actually received a compliment from a girl walking past as she adored my boots, then a half hour later, two girls stopped to take my photo, ha ha, so if you girls are reading this at all and you’re a fan, I’m saying hi here since you hurried off, if not, never mind!
Can you actually believe that it’s October though? There’s only just over 2 months until Christmas and I’m already seeing the Advent Calendars in the shops – it’s madness how quick 2018 has gone by, especially when I think how much has changed and gone on this year. It just goes to show that you never know where life will take you. Anyway, I really hope you enjoyed the outfit. A few of my next outfit posts to share with you contain boots as well (not these Stuart Weitzman ones), since I’m really having a boot moment right now! Are you a fan of pairings like this for Autumn? Lorna xx.
P.S. – These cute little tattoos I’m showcasing here are from Paperself and I love them! I am toying around with placement for the one that I want and thought these temporary ones were ideal for that. It’s given me a pretty good idea about what I want and where! Stay tuned!
