Florida is an amazing state in the United States and it’s one that’s been on my list to visit for quite some time. Whenever I finally make the trip over to the US, California (mostly Los Angeles), New York, and Florida are the places I want to go. There’s just something so different about each one, a completely different vibe, yet they all resemble the ideal of the States that’s in my mind. I’ve spoken a lot about LA before and how it’s a dream of mine to visit, and obviously New York is a shopping capital, so that’s a given, to really see it in all its hustle and bustle, but Florida… it sounds amazing! So, here are 3 places that I want to visit in Florida.
When I think of Florida, I wont lie, my first thoughts always drift towards Disney World! It’s only natural since it’s the biggest Disneyland on the planet, one in which you need about 2 weeks to get everything done, so of course I am desperate to go there for the ultimate Disney dream, but I haven’t even been to Disneyland Paris just yet, so all in good time. I can only imagine how amazing it is though since it’s in Orlando and the weather is mostly incredible. It’s constantly raining, cold, and grey here, so seeing Disney lit up by the sun sounds like a magical dream. I’m also not forgetting Universal Studios either, that would be included in my visit for sure.
Located in Dade County, this city is one of the most famous on the eastern seaboard, and for a very good reason. Miami has one of the best beaches in the state with crystal blue water and white sand, and even Fourth of July is popular there attracting millions to the celebration. There’s everything going on in Miami and I think it’s the place to stay if you want to have fun in Florida. They have festivals, incredible shopping, plenty of activities and with the beaches are gorgeous as they are, I imagine it feels like being in a tropical paradise. You all know I love animals as well, so a trip to Miami Zoo would definitely be on the cards too!
I’m not really a nightlife person, as I’m sure you’re all aware, so the night clubs and parties wouldn’t be my scene, but that doesn’t bother me because the daytime excitement is where I would be. I can just imagine Adam and I right now lying on the white sand looking out into the sunset, or over at the Miami skyline. The sunshine state would definitely bring sunshine into my life, that’s for sure.
Kennedy Space Center
Now this one might not be something you think I would be into, but I am a huge, huge, HUGE space nerd. Anything to do with space in general is a weakness of mine (you may have noticed since I named my other blog The Fashion Supernova). If I was in Florida already, I would definitely be living at Kennedy Space Center! Anything to do with learning about science and astronomy is exciting in my books and really being able to appreciate space travel would be incredible for me. NASA, I’m coming for you… soon, I hope!
– Have you ever been to Florida? I even hear Daytona Beach is fantastic, but I’m not completely sure it’s my scene. I would love to know some of your favourite places to visit so I can note them down on my travel list, if I ever get over my fear of flying that is. I’m desperate to travel to new places and explore, but it’s so scary! I am not surprised why so many people love Florida though. It doesn’t matter what time of the year it is, it’s still an amazing place to be because you can have fun in the sun all year round, as long as you avoid the devastating storms that can happen that is. So yeah, let me know where I need to go!
