I’ve actually been fairly good recently and not bought many clothes at all. The last thing I bought was my KG by Kurt Geiger Winona boots last month as I have been trying to cut back, I always get this impulse issue, but now I wait a few days and decide if I really want something. I’m also wanting to get a new pair of heels, I’ve only been buying boots lately it seems, but my feet get cold so easily, which is why, but I think a pretty pair of platforms or stilettos would be great.
I fell in love with a few things on the Zara website and I went shopping there on Sunday, I picked up this amazing denim jacket which is padded and has a fleece lining on the buttons, sleeves and collar. I originally wanted a Topshop lighter blue denim jacket with fleece that I saw a while back, but it’s not been released yet, even though it was due to drop in September, so I think it’s been cancelled. My boyfriend and I decided that this one was a great alternative and it fits really well and it so warm, so I love it! I was worried it was perhaps too blue, but in person it’s a lot more subtle.
This is the other item I bought from Zara, it’s a grey blazer with faux leather contrasted sleeves. I always fit Zara blazers so well, they have the best fit for my shape out of any other brand I have tried and this one is so cute! I love the contrast with it as it sort of gives the jacket an edge so it can be dressed up or down. It will be making an appearance in an outfit post of mine very soon too!
I was going back and forth for about 4 weeks with this ombre jumper from Topshop. I originally tried it and it seemed to be quite bulky and not the most flattering on me, however I kept going back to it constantly as I love the colour and the cable knit. I opted for the smallest size possible which is a 6 since I couldn’t find it in petite and it runs large. The sizing down worked really well and it fits quite nicely as long as I wear it with heels and leggings or super skinny jeans. It’s absolutely gorgeous and I have worn it a few times already. It’s definitely going to be a staple of mine for Winter.
This is a great colour block contrasted parka coat that I received as a gift from Warehouse for styling. I chose it on their website because I thought it looked really fun and unique. I actually only have plain coloured coats, so picking something like this was different for me and I really like it. My outfit post for styling this coat will be next week, so stay tuned for it!
And last, but not least, is my cityscape scarf that I got in the sale from River Island. I was instantly attracted to it as it’s so different. I’m so used to floral, aztec or wooly scarves that this one was a refreshing change. Plus it was over half off in price so I had to pick it up. I’ve already got plans for what I might wear it with! Blues and blacks are definitely the way to go I think. Anyway, which item do you like the most?
