Camo, Check, Burgundy & Black

(Jeans – Exact, Cardigan – Exact, Scarf – Similar, Bag – Exact, Boots – Similar) It was my dads birthday yesterday, so my boyfriend, my brother and I met my dad for lunch in town. We all had a meal at Wagamama’s (I know, one of my usual’s, lol) and then we went for ice cream/dessert at my favourite Italian ice cream shop. It was a really nice day out and luckily it didn’t rain as today it’s totally poured down all day! Anyway, this is the outfit that I wore for the day and I really liked being able to mix textures and prints. I don’t usually like to mix prints that are contrasting, but I thought I would change things and mix things up a little bit! I wore my new Paige Edgemont skinny jeans in Aged Woodberry, which I got sent from the brand last week and absolutely love. You know I am addicted to burgundy skinny jeans and these have hip zippers as well as a coating over them to give them the waxed look, combined with one of my favourite Paige fits, I couldn’t love these anymore than I do! I love them! I paired them with a simple white tank top from H&M and then wore my new Warehouse black and grey checked cardigan over the top for extra warmth and layering. I love the combination of the burgundy, black and white as you know, but I thought the grey would be a nice touch to add in there too. Just to add more contrast, I layered my Zara camo print scarf over the…

Grey Skinny Jeans For A Grey Day

(Jeans – Similar, Jumper – Similar, Shoes – Similar, Watch – Exact, Case – Exact) This is a really simple and casual outfit that I wore a couple of weekends ago. I hadn’t worn J Brand in ages, so I decided to pull out my older J Brand skinny jeans in grey, but since they fit me a little bit loosely now, I thought they looked better with a cuff at the hems. It adds that extra bit of ease to the look as well I find. Since I wanted to be comfortable, I threw on my oversized cream Zara knitted jumper and pushed the sleeves up. This trusty jumper has been so useful! I’ve worn it numerous times and absolutely adore it! I don’t think it was originally designed to be oversized, but I took a size large in it so that it was. I didn’t want my entire outfit to be completely casual, so I wore my Topshop mint metallic toe cap heels, just to smarten it up a little bit. I love these shoes! I did recently share them with you in one of my new purchases posts and I honestly can’t believe I won them for about £7 on eBay! You can always get some amazing deals there! As the outfit colour scheme was quite muted with grey and cream, I wanted to add a little pop of colour, so I took my Marc by Marc Jacobs neon yellow neoprene iPhone case with me and also wore my Katula Kiss neon yellow and green bracelets to go with my Michael Kors Slim Runway watch in silver.…

Some New Autumn Clothes & Accessories Purchases

I haven’t done a new purchases post in quite a while, so I thought it was about time that I did. Over the past month or so I have acquired a few new things while trying to stock up my Autumn wardrobe! You probably already know by now that Autumn is my favourite time of year and I can never get enough jackets and coats to suit the season. I’m also very much addicted to accessories in the form of jewellery and anything sparkly! Above I have 3 new little things that I got as I am loving gold at the moment. I have a nail polish from Topshop in a pale and pearly gold which I think is absolutely gorgeous! I managed to finally stop biting my nails about 2 months ago so I can’t wait to start painting them! I purchased the other 2 bracelets from River Island when I fell in love with them. I’m a sucker for gold chains and had been wanting one as a bracelet for some time. I’m not really a fan of the bracelets with clasps though as it’s pretty impossible to put them on and off yourself, so when I saw this one with a t-bar closure, I knew it would be perfect! Finally, that brings me to the beetle bracelet, isn’t it amazing? The coloured stones were what originally attracted me to the bracelet in the first place as I love rainbows, but I think the giant beetle on the front of it gives it so much character! It’s gorgeous! I have 2 pairs of the Topshop metallic toe cap…

High Waisted Denim Shorts With Boots & A Blazer

(Shorts – Exact, Blazer – Similar, Top – Similar, Boots – Similar, Bag – Exact) I never used to be a fan of high waisted denim shorts about two years ago, in fact I wasn’t ever a fan of high waisted anything due to my short legs, however when I bought my first pair of vintage Levi’s cut offs, I was sort of addicted to the high waist look. I found that unlike high waisted jeans, high waisted shorts actually make your legs look longer. They create that illusion that your legs don’t stop at your hips, they carry on up higher. I got given these gorgeous denim shorts from Ruby Starling, a new brand in Los Angeles, and I really like the wash and distressing on the front. These shorts are a little too short for my taste at the back, but the fraying on the hems actually covers up any butt cheek, so even though they feel short, they aren’t actually that short from behind to see. I definitely plan on wearing these more with longer cardigans, I think that would work perfectly! I was wearing my Ruby Starling High Waisted Denim Shorts, my Zara Burgundy Top and Black Blazer, my Chloe Burgundy Boots, a Butler & Wilson Eye Ring and Star Bracelet and my Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac in Port. I thought pairing the denim shorts with a blazer and booties would be a nice contrast, something to smarten up the look a little bit and add some structure to it. I know high waisted denim shorts with frayed hems are often very casual, so I wanted…

Moto Skinny Jeans With A Crisp White Blazer

(Jeans – Similar, Blazer – Similar, Heels – Similar, Shirt – Similar) I have been really excited lately in terms of fashion because the weather is finally at that stage where I can wear blazers and skinny jeans and feel comfortable again. I’ve been so used to wearing shorts and dresses the past couple of months that it’s such a nice change. I feel most comfortable when I am in blazers or jackets with my jeans, it feels like it’s my staple kind of outfit. For this outfit, I went for a tougher look with the moto jeans, but made it more dressier with the fresh white blazer. I was thinking of wearing Christian Louboutin shoes with this outfit, but I didn’t have any nude ones that matched, which is why I went with the Kurt Geiger ones I am wearing here. They feel super tight on me now though and actually hurt my feet a lot, so I might need to try the sock trick to stretch my shoes at some point. Hopefully that might make them more comfortable! I was wearing my James Jeans Moto Jeans, a Polka Dot Shirt and White Blazer from Zara and my KG by Kurt Geiger Eleanor Nude Heels. I actually put most of this outfit together at the time and it was completely spur of the moment with the polka dot shirt. I was thinking that it wouldn’t match very well, but as it turns out, it did and I quite like the little pop of boldness that it brings to the look. Also, I got a few comments on my Instagram…

There’s A Panda In My Burgundy & Black Outfit

(Jeans – Similar, Blazer – Similar, T-Shirt – Exact, Boots – Exact, Bag – Exact) I wore this outfit over the weekend when I went out with my boyfriend for lunch and window shopping. I love the combination of burgundy, black and white as you know, so I was really excited that I could wear more of an autumn outfit this time. I was actually suprised to see that the leaves were on the floor already, it had literally just hit the first of September when I was out, so seeing the leaves dropping was kind of exciting and upsetting at the same time. I’m happy autumn is coming in because I get to wear my favourite clothes and it’s not too hot or too cold, but I’m sad summer is pretty much over. I’m wearing my Koral Los Angeles Burgundy Skinny Jeans, my Zara Black Blazer, a Choies Panda Tank Top, my Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac in Burgundy, my KG by Kurt Geiger Winona Boots and a Eye Ring and Star Bracelet from Butler & Wilson. I chose this t-shirt from Choies as part of my package, along with the galaxy print one you saw a couple of days ago. I love pandas and I thought this combination was great! It went really well with my staple choice of burgundy jeans with black boots and blazers. I was thinking about adding a pop of colour with my bag, maybe yellow, but I decided to go with burgundy to keep with the theme as I usually have a contrasting colour somewhere and wanted to be different this time. On another…

Let The Ancient Journey Begin At Sunset

(Leggings – Exact, Blazer – Similar, Shoes – Similar, Bag – Similar, Rings – Exact, Bracelets – Exact, Necklace – Exact) At the moment I have a little thing for ancient map prints. You may remember this map print sweater that I wore a couple of weeks ago, but I also have a pair of leggings with the quirky print on too. I chose these from Romwe to style and I suprised myself when I picked them. I actually planned on choosing the galaxy print pair as those have always been a favourite, but as soon as I saw these ones, I knew I wanted to try them. I thought styling the leggings with black and white was the best route to go down so they stood out in the outfit, but I kept to the colour theme with my Mulberry bag. Another thing that I adore in this outfit is my necklace. I got to choose it from Amorium and it’s adorable! The necklace features two little cats in rose gold, one with crystals and the other one plain, and I think it’s perfectly suited to my style as I love cats. Amorium have all unique pieces as well, they don’t repeat their jewellery, so each piece you have would be the only one that existed. I was wearing my new Romwe Ancient World Map Leggings, my Zara Black Blazer, a simple H&M White Top, my River Island Black Ankle Boots, my Mulberry Mini Taylor in Sycamore, various Rings and Bracelets from Topshop and ASOS and my new Amorium Rose Gold Cat Necklace. I do apologise though for not…

Gone Away With The Metallic Unicorns

(Jumper – Similar, Jeans – Similar, Shoes – Exact, Bracelets – Exact) We actually took these photos more than a month ago, before the heat wave came in and I completely forgot about them. They were hiding in a folder on my desktop! You may remember these gorgeous Giuseppe Zanotti Loafers when I purchased them at LuisaViaRoma in Florence back in June. I’ve been wearing them often as they are so comfortable and light weight, they are definitely one of my best shoe purchases! I used to be obsessed with Christian Louboutin shoes, as you know, but I think Giuseppe Zanotti is my latest obsession! Especially since he’s such a nice man when I met him as well, it makes all the difference! You may also remember that I have an obsession with unicorns! I did a post a little while back featuring some of my items that I own with unicorns on and when I saw this jumper in the sale at Zara, I fell for it. I’ve actually worn it so many times as it’s such an easy and weightless jumper for grabbing when you need to go out. I’m completely in love with it! So for this outfit, I’m wearing my Zara Grey/Silver Metallic Unicorn Jumper, my Paige Indio Black Skinny Jeans, my Giuseppe Zanotti Gold Tooth Loafers and some various different ASOS Bracelets. I do also have a video in this post, of my outfit, so you can see that below. I am sorry I haven’t been doing any in the past few outfits, but I haven’t really had the time to. I’ve been so busy…
