A Beige Coat With Chloe Susanna Boots

A Refreshing Restyling Happy weekend everyone! I’m so glad this weekend is a lot warmer, wet, but warmer than the last. I feel like all I’m doing lately is speaking about the weather and that’s purely because it’s been crazy! I know England is known for having bad weather, but to the extremes it is at the moment, it’s not common for us. When we shot these photos, it was so cold that my hands were in so much pain. Adam and I had to do a joint shoot and it meant spending a long time out in sub zero temperatures, so it wasn’t the greatest. I recently got some thick tights to wear under my jeans too, to keep warm, and some extra fleece style scarves, but thankfully it’s warming up. Anyway, getting to my outfit, I was wearing my old Zara Beige Coat With Faux Leather Sleeves (seen before here and here, can you believe it’s from 2012?) which I layered over numerous jumpers for warmth. I then opted for black jeans with my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop in All Black (I love these and recommend them), but instead of going with black boots like I did before, I chose my Chloe Susanna Boots in Burgundy Velvet. I haven’t worn these boots since last year so it was about time I got them out again! I never want to expose them to rain since it ruins velvet, so I’m always cautious in making sure it isn’t going to rain when I wear them. For my accessories, I finished it off with my Burberry Claret Scarf and my…

Layers Of Grey

Allsaints Grey Coat With Adidas Gazelle Oh my gosh. I don’t even know where to start with this blog post as the whole country has gone crazy with the weather. I’m pretty sure everyone is aware of Storm Emma and how the UK (as well as many European countries) was hit by it over the last few days. The country somewhat came to a close as the airports were shut, trains were cancelled, buses were cancelled, work and schools were shut, people were snowed in, shops were closed, supermarkets couldn’t even get any deliveries and we haven’t had any mail for days. I’ve actually never seen snow this deep in my life and from what I was told, it hasn’t happened since the 80’s. In my city of Bath, we literally never get snow, the rest of the country does and we don’t, however this time in my back garden, it was knee high deep in some places (see my IG stories). There have been numerous cars crashed into hedges and lamp posts as well near my house as we live near a hill, but being in the countryside, I don’t think any of our areas were gritted at all which is why everything has come to a standstill. Thankfully all the snow has melted and our temperatures are now above 0 as it was -12 at one point! I hope all of you are safe and managed to get through all the snow. How bad was it by you? What area are you from? Anyway, getting to my outfit, this is one that I wore back in earlier February…

Stutterheim Mosebacke Burgundy Raincoat Review + Outfit

Stutterheim Mosebacke Raincoat With Skinny Jeans & Golden Goose This is a post that I have been excited to put together for a while now. It’s no secret that I love rain coats as I’ve mentioned it numerous times before and own a little collection (much needed here in the UK) but a brand that had always been on my radar and one that I fell in love with when I saw it in Harvey Nichols some time ago was Stutterheim. They’re a Swedish designer/premium rainwear brand and they are incredible! They have a timeless design, are extremely functional and are made from high quality materials, so you really can’t go wrong. Obviously burgundy is one of my favourite colours and I can never get enough of it, but a burgundy raincoat was something that was lacking in my collection. When I saw how amazing Selena Gomez looked in her Stutterheim Mosebacke Burgundy Raincoat (see here), I knew it was the one I wanted. The intense burgundy shade looked incredible and the fit of the Mosebacke looked really unique, so I was definitely loving this raincoat and obsessing over it for a couple of weeks. I’m really glad I got to collaborate with Stutterheim here and can’t recommend it enough to you! I know I’ve already shared this raincoat on Instagram and one of you bought one too with my discount code, but I’m going to do a mini review for you just below (under the next image) so you can get an idea of the coat before buying, as well as seeing my outfit that I styled it with.…

How To Wear Rain Boots Fashionably

Hunter Chelsea Rain Boots With Skinny Jeans Outfit I’m sure by now, after seeing so many rainy photos quite often, you’re beginning to understand why I have a larger selection of wellies than most people. I would say I spend about 50% of the time in some sort of rain boot and a rain coat thanks to the UK and its amazing weather. One of my favourite pairs that I have grown to love are these Chelsea Boots from Hunter Boots and they’re perfect for so many things! Because they’re only ankle length and akin to an actual ankle boot, they’re extremely versatile and wearable. Sometimes my tall wellies can be quite cumbersome and get in the way of certain things, so these are just perfect for errands and walking around while keeping my feet completely dry! I honestly can’t recommend them enough if you live in a rainy climate too. I decided to wear them this time with my Topshop Jamie Grey Skinny Jeans and my Zara Faux Aviator Coat. You’ve seen this coat twice (here and here) and I still love it so much! I’d go as far as to say it’s my favourite coat this season entirely! It just goes with everything and is actually really warm and flattering, so it’s ideal! I layered it over my GAP Roll Neck Jumper in Burgundy and matched that to my Urban Outfitters Gloves in the same shade. When it comes to skinny jeans, I usually only opt for premium pairs as I love how they fit, the washes, the quality etc, but I have worn this pair from Topshop…

The Velvet Lace Up Body Suit With Leatherette Jeans

Burgundy Lace Up Bodysuit With Leatherette Jeans Here is the second Valentine’s Day inspired outfit! You just saw the first one where I wore a pretty red dress which was quite feminine, but I think this look is more on the risque side and evening appropriate. I’m wearing another piece from Tobi, which is this gorgeous Lisbeth Lace Up Bodysuit in Burgundy Velvet with my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Leatherette Jeans in Black. I thought the two paired really nicely together as I’m always for burgundy and black, they just complement each other in every way. For my shoes, to keep the burgundy theme running, I opted for the RAYE Burgundy Heels, and then finished it off with an accessory in the form of my Gucci GG Belt in Black. I think this belt really helps tie everything together and complete the outfit. I originally had it all on without it, but when I looked in the mirror, there was something missing. I knew it was a belt and reached for this one to really add some statement to it – I love how it turned out. Now believe it or not, this is actually my first time wearing a bodysuit. I must say, I have always been left disappointed by the fact that all the pretty, lacy tops are always a bodysuit and they weren’t ever something I was fond of as I find them to be a hassle, however I gave it a try and was actually quite surprised at how well it fits. It takes some getting used to though with the poppers since it’s like wearing…

How To Wear A Boda Skins Kay Michaels Leather Jacket

Boda Skins Kay Michaels Women’s Leather Jacket With Skinny Jeans I recently shared with you my Boda Skins Kay Michaels Women’s Leather Jacket review and you all loved it! So many of you commented how much you adored the jacket and even some of you purchased one (as you told me), so I’m really excited to show you my first outfit combination featuring it. I wore it out a couple of weekends ago and it was actually freezing, so don’t be fooled by the photos, but I thought it would look good against Great Pulteney Street in Bath as the backdrop. It’s really fancy up the top of town and there’s some great steps to sit on. For my outfit, I decided to style my Boda Skins Kay Michaels in Antique Creased Brown with my AG The Farrah Ankle Jeans in 18 Years Cruising, a simple GAP Long Sleeve T-Shirt and my REISS Ankle Boots. The boots actually ended up being almost the perfect shade to match the brown leather jacket. I definitely plan on wearing it again with black skinny jeans, but for the first look I wanted to wear light blue, to really make the jacket the focal point of the outfit. My tips on how to wear a Boda Skins Kay Michaels would definitely be based on your personality and the season. I think one of the most winning combinations for women is with skinny jeans and heels/boots as it’s feminine mixed with tough, but it’s definitely going to work with trainers as well for a more casual approach. Skinny jeans are definitely what I see the…

Levi’s Sherpa Double Denim Jacket Outfit

Winter Double Denim Style In A Levi’s Sherpa Jacket Winter is so gloomy isn’t it? I feel like these photos capture a pretty true British winter – gritty, dark, miserable looking, wet… what we have grown accustomed too, but it gives a sense of character to the photos. I wonder if our weather is the reason behind why we’re such a miserable nation? Ha ha. This set was shot around new year so literally right in the middle of the cold, but of course it was raining too and this time I didn’t want to wear rain clothes. As much as I love them, it can get tiresome wearing them pretty much everyday thanks to out constant sky shower. Getting to the outfit, I chose to wear my Levi’s Men’s Sherpa Denim Jacket (seen before here) over an ALLSAINTS Roll Neck Jumper that I’ve worn so many times. It’s really thick and warm, so that underneath the thick denim jacket is a combination that kept me nice and toasty. As I love two different shades for double denim, I wore my J Brand Maria Skinny Jeans in Dove as grey and blue are perfect together, then opted for my Sam Edelman Petty Booties. I haven’t worn these in years! I’ve owned them since 2011 (I think) and they are still serving me well. Since it was raining, I wore my Rebecca Mnikoff Mini Mac as I don’t like to wear my designer bags when it’s wet, and then finished it off with my trusty Topshop Scarf. I’ve worn this scarf with almost everything! It’s such a versatile colour. I’m still…

The Wrap Coat And Over The Knee Boots

The Wrap Coat With Over The Knee Boots Outfit Another outfit post and another re-styling of something old. Do any of you remember this Buffalo Wrap Coat in Camel? I styled it before – back in 2014 (I can’t believe it was that long ago!) and I chose to wear it with grey over the knee boots and a hat. To bring it more to the current time, I opted for my Ted & Muffy/DUO Empress Black Over The Knee Boots, my James Jeans in Black, a simple Black Oasis Jumper, finished off with my Celine Nano Luggage in Dune. I thought the location of The Royal Crescent would be ideal for this though as it’s got a great atmosphere. This is the outfit that I wore last Saturday actually as I thought I was well enough to go out, but I later regretted that as I ended up exhausting myself from the walking and needing to use my inhaler because my chest was tight from the left over flu still remaining. It was also freezing, but as I kept sweating I was having issues regulating my temperature. I was fed up of being stuck in though and felt like I really wanted to go get some lunch and shoot outfit photos, so that’s what we did. I have edited out my cold sore though as I always get one after a virus, ha ha. Funnily enough because I had still kept this wrap coat in its box from the first time I wore it, I had actually forgotten about it. I’ve been looking through older photos on my fashion…
