The Horse Coin Shirt With White Jeans

Topshop Horse Coin Shirt With Jeans So you saw my first outfit with this Topshop Horse Coin Shirt (if you missed it, see it here) and you all really liked the styling with the beige corduroy skirt, so what I have done for the second look is kept everything the same, but swapped out the skirt for a pair of AGOLDE Sophie Skinny Jeans in White, to bring a different vibe and feel to the outfit. The other pieces I was wearing are my Mulberry Small Darley in Oak, my Gucci GG Belt in Tan, and my Jimmy Choo Romy 85 Shoes. I’ve kept the location the same and everything else, so you can really see how different the outfit looks with one piece changed. I was surprised myself actually at how a pair of distressed white jeans makes the ensemble tougher, more casual, and gives it an edge, compared to how chic, feminine and classy it looked before, but both of them still have a playful twist because of the blouse. Since I covered everything else in the previous post, I don’t need to go into too much detail with this article, so I’m going to leave you with the big question of which look you prefer. Do you prefer it with the skirt, or with the jeans? I want to hear your arguments for both! Lorna xx.

Monochrome Grey Over The Knee Boots Outfit

Monochrome Grey Over The Knee Boots Outfit Happy Wednesday everyone! I wanted to quickly say thank you to you for the amazing love and support you all gave me on my previous post celebrating my 9 years of blogging and body confidence! You’re all so wonderful and it’s been one of my best posts on Instagram in terms of engagement as well, so it’s not going unnoticed how much support you all give me. I’m glad you’re all really liking the new way I edit my photos too, which actually leads me to this location. There’s so many pretty crescents and circus areas here in Bath that they make the best backdrops for my outfits, especially with the use of lighting, and hints of orange and blue, it really plays off of the Bath stone that all the buildings use. You might think that I’m often using the same location, but I’m not, there’s at least 5 different crescents I use here, ha ha. Anyway, for this outfit, I was wearing a jumper that I got in the sale from Topman (buy it here) for only £12! Adam had got one and I really liked it, so I had to get the same, naturally, ha ha. It’s so cosy and soft though, so I decided to pair it with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite (my favourite ankle jeans ever!), which I put my ASOS Western Belt around to break it up and tuck the jumper into. To make it a bit more feminine, I wore my DUO Grey Over The Knee Boots again, and then finished it off…

My Take On The Power Suit

A Unique Spin On The Power Suit Happy Thursday! I have a small double photoshoot for you to see today! I’m going to get straight to it as well, so I was wearing a modern take on a power suit that I thought was really cool. I combined the Lovers + Friends Orion Crop Top with the matching Lovers + Friends Miro Pants (gifted by Revolve) and I like how the combination looks! The suit pattern itself is a check in pale pink and black on a grey background, making it pretty unique and interesting. The trousers, as you can see, come with a waist tie which I showcased with and without, as I wasn’t sure which I liked best. The trousers are a bit long for me as I’m not very tall, so they could be a bit shorter, but overall, it’s pretty cool. The bandeau style crop top zips up at the back and has silicone areas to keep it up. For everyone wondering, I went for a size medium in the top and a small in the trousers and it seems to fit quite well. For the rest of the look, I layered my Reiss White Blazer (similar here) over my shoulders to pull it together and give it a bit more modesty. I got this blazer a couple of years ago and it has an oversize fit, which I think paired nicely with these pieces. Then getting to my accessories, I chose my Valentino Lock Bag in Ivory and my Jimmy Choo Romy 85 Shoes (similar here). I originally was thinking about doing grey shoes, but it was…

Cambridge Satchel Spring Lilac Emily Outfit

Cambridge Satchel Small Emily Lilac Bag Spring Outfit Happy Monday! I hope everyone survived Storm Freya this weekend and nobody was hurt. Luckily here it didn’t last long and we haven’t suffered any problems. It was really cold on the weekend though so trying to shoot our Spring photos in Spring clothes was actually a challenge! I had to end up borrowing Adam’s spare jacket in order to keep warm as it was literally freezing, but looking at these photos, you wouldn’t be able to tell. It’s warm one minute and cold the next! My original plan was to shoot this outfit and the bag around blossom trees, as I’ve been seeing some of the trees in bloom already, but as soon as we got to the park it was evident that it was still very much Winter. There was no sign of blossom at all so that did not go to plan, ha ha. I found another location though and some purple flowers, which I think turned out really nicely. Anyway, getting to my outfit, I was wearing an old River Island Floral Shirt Dress that I purchased back in 2011 I think it was, but decided to wear it as an over shirt, layered over my Topshop Cropped Top in Beige. For the jeans, I went with my Topshop Grey High Rise Skinny Jeans and then finished it off with my Rebecca Minkoff Mules in Pink. For my jewellery, I chose my new Shashi Shell Necklace in Gold as seashell jewellery is really trending now, and for the bag, which is the star of the outfit, I chose…

White Lace Bodysuit With Boots & A Suede Jacket

White Lace Bodysuit With OTK Boots & A Suede Jacket As soon as we think Spring has sprung, the rain comes! I’m not against the rain obviously as I love wearing my wellies and rain coats, they’re wonderful, but it has been nice having such beautiful weather the past week. It’s been really relaxing and fresh! Adam and I shot these photos last weekend in town and it’s quite a different look for me, in a way. I always love the Bath locations as they’re so pretty, so I thought this street would complement the outfit I was wearing, but since that’s what all of you come here for, I will get straight to it. I was wearing a White Lace Bodysuit, but I wont mention the brand because I had so many issues with them, and they wont even refund people, so I am not giving them any publicity and wont subject any of you to buying from them, but I have of course linked others below! I threw my Goosecraft Grey Suede Jacket over the top of it for some modesty, and then wore my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite again, with an ASOS Western Belt. Then to finish it all off, I went with my Saint Laurent Sac de Jour Bag and my DUO Grey Over The Knee Boots. I was wearing a custom personalised L necklace from Design Letters too, but I will be sharing that with you soon in another post, up close! Bodysuits have been really popular lately, especially for going out, as I’m seeing so many girls wearing them in all colours…

The Stutterheim Burgundy Raincoat Outfit

Burgundy Stutterheim Mosebacke Raincoat Outfit As I am typing this, it is literally boiling hot (it’s been 30C all week) so looking at these photos that we shot a couple of weeks ago when it was cooler and raining, makes me sweat, ha ha. It’s crazy how our summers are now. For the past 3 or 4 years they have regularly hit 30C and above for a couple of weeks of the the year and it never used to! Then at the same time, in winter, it’s sub zero! Anyway, getting to this outfit, I chose to wear my Stutterheim Mosebacke Burgundy Raincoat over a GAP Grey Long Sleeve Top for a casual feel. I then wore my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop Jeans in All Black as a base, then for my shoes, I went with my Golden Goose Slide Hi Tops in Silver/Glitter (<- click the words to buy). I got these a couple of months ago and I absolutely fell in love with them. You can see my Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers review from before, but the Slide Hi Top is fantastic! It fastens with a side zip, so the laces are just for aesthetics really. Usually these type of shoes make my feet look large and my legs look short, but there’s something about the design of these that make my feet appear smaller and they lengthen my legs! It’s fantastic! Plus, they’re on sale! I’m sure you can tell though that I am still absolutely loving this Stutterheim Raincoat, I adore it that much that I’m looking out for a light sand or potato version as…

A Blush Pink Blazer With Spring Blooms

A Blush Pink Jacket With Skinny Jeans And Mules The Spring blooms are everywhere right now and I think they’re beautiful! Anytime I pass a pretty blossom tree or I see a Buddleia bush, I have to stop to take photos. I’ve heard that in Southgate in my town of Bath they’ve decorated it with Wysteria as well and it looks beautiful. I cannot wait to see that soon! I’m still enjoying the beautiful sunshine though and when I get back from Lyme Regis, I will be sharing a mini photo diary with you too, that will be around the 1st June, so stay tuned for that. The weather has been wonderful and it’s so lovely to explore somewhere new. For this outfit, we shot the photos a couple of weekends ago and I was in the mood to wear an outfit that was put together and smart, but casual at the same time. I chose to wear my Allsaints Aleida Blazer in Blush Pink (you’ve seen it before here and here) to style with my MOTHER The Swooner Ankle Fray Jeans in Losing Control and a simple River Island Tank Top. I think the distressed jeans and casualness of the tank really help make it daytime appropriate and easy. I finished it off with my Rebecca Minkoff Mika Mules in Peony Pink (again), my Gucci Dionysus Mini Shoulder Bag in Taupe and my BVLGARI LVCEA Watch. I always love mixing high and low elements together to make an outfit more approachable. I recently shared with you my 6 favourite summer shoes of the moment and these Rebecca Minkoff shoes…

A Floral Summer Dress With A Celine Belt Bag

A Yumi Floral Dress With A Celine Belt Bag I’m so pleased to be able to share with you more summer photos! These were shot a couple of weeks ago when we had the heatwave as now it’s gone quite cold again unfortunately. I do still have another look to show you though which was taken in the glorious sunshine! That will be going live in just under a week, so stay tuned for that. While I’m typing this, I’m in the middle of packing for my trip away with Adam. We booked a late May short break away to celebrate our 10 year anniversary last month and it’s to a place we have never been, so I am hoping it’s fun! I will be sharing photos from the trip at some point, but it’s not a working trip so I’m not sure what I will be doing when I’m there. My aim is to take an actual holiday for 3 days and not worry about any work, but we will see as that never usually goes to plan, ha ha. For this outfit, you might remember this Yumi Floral Dress as I got it on holiday in St. Ives two years ago! Do you recognise the print? We shot the photos last time on the beach (see here) and I thought it would be nice to wear it again as it holds so many lovely memories – it was the holiday where Adam proposed to me. I decided to pair this Yumi Dress with my RAYE Sandals and then finish it off with my Superdry Sunglasses, my Celine Belt…
