Valentine’s Day Pink Inspired With A Romantic Story

I just shared my Valentine’s Day gift guide with you, and in light of the romantic holiday, I’m really happy to be partnering with La Redoute for this post! The idea is to share a romantic story or moment that’s happened to you while posting a Valentine’s Day look. My outfit consists of my Zara pink coat layered over a white shirt and my Paige Jane white skinny jeans, finished off with some nude Kelya heels and my Mulberry Candy Pink Denim Lily, complete with a pink silk scarf from La Redoute, which I tied in a bow around my bag! I also had flowers since it is Valentine’s after all! Now getting to my romantic story, there have been numerous little things that Adam has done for me over the 7 years we have been together, but one of the things that stands out to me most was a few years ago. He knew that I loved the green bears from the Haribo Starmix bags and you only ever get about 3-5 in a bag, so for Valentine’s Day one year, he gave me a black decorated box with red tissue paper inside. I wondered what was in it and as soon as I opened it, I knew! He had given me a box filled with green Haribo bears! In order to do this he had to buy a tonne of Starmix bags and bear bags just to take out the green ones so I would have a little box full. I know not many would consider this romantic as such as it’s not a holiday, flowers or something…

It’s A Woodland Creature Thing

(Jacket – Similar, Jeans – Similar, Top – Exact, Shoes – Similar, Necklace – Similar, Watch – Exact) We took these photos a few weeks ago as I was reviewing these Diesel Grupee Jogg Jeans, but I didn’t get around to posting them yet. I decided to pair the jeans with my Woodland Blazer that I got from Choies last year as I still love the print on it so much. It’s adorable! I kept things fairly simple with my shoes, opting for my Topshop Gabbi Nude Heels and then went with my Olivia Burton Humming Bird Watch, some various bracelets and my brand new Marc by Marc Jacobs Flap Percy in Coral. I have been trying to be good lately and not buy many clothes as I still have so many pieces from last Summer that I didn’t really wear that much. I have bought a couple of tops on eBay, but I sort of allow that since they were super cheap! I’m always looking around for vouchers and discount codes too to get the most out of my orders and try and save money. VoucherBin is a pretty good site for that as they often share really great discounts that you can get online. Who doesn’t like savings? I sure do! In other news, thank you so much for all of the support towards The Jeans Blog. It’s been absolutely incredibly and in the little amount of time that it’s been live (10 days) it’s had over 1000 views already. I’m over the moon! I also wanted to say that I really appreciate all of the votes you…

Raindrops of Sapphire x Fever London 3

(Dress – Exact & Similar, Jacket – Similar, Bag – Exact, Boots – Similar) And here it is, my third and final styling with Fever London. You have already seen my workwear and evening looks featuring this beautiful Hollis pencil dress in red, and this one is my casual inspired outfit. As this dress is quite smart due to its tailored fit and square neckline, it can’t be worn as casual as others, so I couldn’t opt for flats to go with it. Instead, I wore my Christian Louboutin Clic Clac booties as they are classy, but the ankle boot shape gives them a bit of an edge. These are old, I have had them for about 3 or more years, but I have never really featured them on the blog as I only bring them out for special occasions. Aren’t they gorgeous though? I wanted to aim for that tougher vibe with this casual look, so I decided on wearing my Topshop Faux Leather Jacket over the dress and it worked pretty well. My boyfriend and I both decided on this combination actually as he has a great eye for fashion too. Since my Balenciaga Mini City in Black Suede has a moto feel to it, I thought it was the perfect accompaniment. So, there are only four pieces worn here and I kept to a black and red theme, which is something I love as it’s usually bold and striking. I’m actually planning on wearing this pretty red dress to a wedding next year as well, so this wont be the last time that you see it! What…

The Black And Purple Combination

(Jeans – Similar, Jacket – Exact, Top – Similar, Bag – Exact, Boots – Exact, Necklace – Similar) We shot these photos a few weeks ago when the start of the warm weather was just coming in. The sun was shining and it was beautiful being next to the river as the light reflected off of the water. Currently right now I’m looking out of the window and typing while listening to nothing but the birds singing, so I can definitely say I am enjoying Summer so far! I can’t wait for it to warm up even more! Are you enjoying the warm weather? For my outfit, I wore my classic Levi’s Black Skinny Jeans and tucked them into my new New Look Block Heel Black Boots (which are now in the sale at £12!). I got to choose these from the New Look website to style them and I think they are amazing, especially for the price. They didn’t hurt my feet and the block heel means they are easy to walk in! Keeping with the black theme, I wore my Zara Zip Waterfall Blazer in Black to add some structure to the look. To brighten things up and inject some colour, I then chose a Purple Top from Topshop, my Marc by Marc Jacobs Percy Bag in Berry Haze and finished it off with a Topshop Gold Cross Necklace. I think the combination of black and purple is really pretty, so I quite like how simple this outfit is, but not dull. Now, in other news, one of the projects that I was working on is now finished!…

Blue Denim Short Dungarees With A Blazer

(Overalls – Exact, Jacket – Similar, Shoes – Exact, Bag – Exact, Necklace – Similar) This is the outfit that I put together yesterday for a day out in town. It was fairly warm, but with a slight breeze, so it meant that I was finally able to wear what I had been putting together in my head for a while. I saw something similar to this on another blogger a while back, well, when I say similar, I mean blue overalls and a blazer, but I wanted to style it myself a little differently. I got these really pretty short denim dungarees/overalls from Topshop a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with them. I don’t usually wear Topshop denim (other than jackets) as I don’t find the fit to be great, but these are absolutely adorable! I took them in a UK size 8 and they fit quite slim, with some room in the hips and waist. Now getting to the outfit, I layered them over a simple white tee from H&M and then wore my Zara black zipper blazer over the top. I thought this really smartened the combination up and stopped it from being too casual. That’s why I also added the statement necklace from Topshop, just to make things a bit more bold. For my shoes, I went with my new Topshop Heavenly sandals and I absolutely love these are they have a heel to give you height, but it’s more of a platform so you aren’t walking on anything steep. They are so comfortable! Then, because there was no colour in my look…

Purple Berry Plaids In The Spring

(Jeans – Exact, Shirt – Exact, Bag – Exact, Wellies – Exact, Top – Exact) Just over a week ago I wore this outfit to go out to town with my boyfriend. The rain was pouring down to begin with, so I opted to wear a pair of my wellies so I didn’t have to worry about puddles or ruining my shoes. In true British style though, the rain went off after only a few minutes and was dry for the remainder of the day, well, mostly! So there I am walking around in my Hunter Short Ruby Gloss Wellies while everyone else was in regular shoes! Anyway, I decided to pair them with my AG Adriano Goldschmied The Legging Jeans in 18 Years Stone and my Paige Plaid Kadie Shirt. I’ve actually had this shirt for about a year, but have never worn it on the blog before as it’s incredibly casual, but since the colour combination of it is so beautiful and perfect for Spring, I thought why not! Plus, it paired perfectly with my new Rebecca Minkoff Mini Affair Bag in Tortora! To darken things down a little bit so that the outfit wasn’t too pale to go with the wellies, I went with my River Island Purple Vest Top and it actually turned out to almost be an identical match! So this was just a really comfortable look for me. In other news, I have two really exciting projects which I’m working on right now, one to do with a company and one to do with myself, both of which will be revealed soon and I…

The Floral Shirt & Denim Shorts At The Park

(Shorts – Exact, Shirt – Exact, Shoes – Exact, Sunglasses – Exact, Bangle – Exact, Watch – Exact) These photos are from two weekends ago when I spent the evening in the Botanical Gardens with my boyfriend. It was pretty much deserted as it was quite late, so it was beautiful to have the place all to ourselves. Since I’m very light footed and a quiet person, animals are always drawn to me as I think they sense that I love them, so feeding them is something that makes me happy and just sitting with them. It’s so relaxing and calming and something that I need every now and then as I’m always so wrapped up in work. I was lucky that it was warm out so I could still be in shorts. Speaking of which, these are my vintage Levi’s denim shorts in black from Urban Outfitters. I got these two years ago, not long after I got my blue pair, however I ended up with a smaller size and didn’t realise, so they had always been too tight on me, but since I have changed shape and lost a few pounds, they fit me now. Tightly I might add, but they do, so I can finally wear them! Now onto this gorgeous shirt, I saw it in the day time before going to the park. It was on the hanger in River Island and I just fell in love with it entirely. It’s really silky and the floral print is very intense and bold. I can’t wait to wear it again, maybe with jeans this time, but it…

Raindrops of Sapphire x Fever London 2

(Dress – Exact & Similar, Coat – Similar, Clutch – Similar, Shoes – Exact & Similar, Watch – Exact, Bracelets – Exact, Ring – Similar) This is the second look I put together as part of my Fever London collaboration. As you know, my first outfit I styled this gorgeous Hollis Square Neck Pencil Dress was for a work look, so this one is my evening outfit! I wanted to do it in a way that you could transition the same work outfit into an evening one, so you can head out to dinner straight from the office. So, the starting base is the red dress and the Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 heels, but I layered my Zara Yellow Zipper coat over the top and wore my old Mary Frances Denim Clutch. You may remember this bag from years ago if you have been a long time reader of my blog! I then chose a red flower hair clip, just to make things a little more fun and layered on some bracelets to go with my Olivia Burton Hummingbird Watch. I also had on my Butler & Wilson Lips Ring. My third and final look will be next week and it will be my casual day time wear outfit, so definitely stay tuned for that one! Don’t forget you can still enter their contest where you snap photos of yourself in a Fever London outfit and include #WearingFever when you upload it to social media! They will be choosing a winner after the closing date on the 2nd June. Anyway, what do you think of my outfit? Do you like…
