The Floral Shirt & Denim Shorts At The Park

(Shorts – Exact, Shirt – Exact, Shoes – Exact, Sunglasses – Exact, Bangle – Exact, Watch – Exact) These photos are from two weekends ago when I spent the evening in the Botanical Gardens with my boyfriend. It was pretty much deserted as it was quite late, so it was beautiful to have the place all to ourselves. Since I’m very light footed and a quiet person, animals are always drawn to me as I think they sense that I love them, so feeding them is something that makes me happy and just sitting with them. It’s so relaxing and calming and something that I need every now and then as I’m always so wrapped up in work. I was lucky that it was warm out so I could still be in shorts. Speaking of which, these are my vintage Levi’s denim shorts in black from Urban Outfitters. I got these two years ago, not long after I got my blue pair, however I ended up with a smaller size and didn’t realise, so they had always been too tight on me, but since I have changed shape and lost a few pounds, they fit me now. Tightly I might add, but they do, so I can finally wear them! Now onto this gorgeous shirt, I saw it in the day time before going to the park. It was on the hanger in River Island and I just fell in love with it entirely. It’s really silky and the floral print is very intense and bold. I can’t wait to wear it again, maybe with jeans this time, but it…

Pastel Blue & Pollen Buff

(Jeans – Exact & Similar, Coat – Exact & Similar, Top – Similar, Bag – Exact, Boots – Similar) I wore this outfit over the weekend while I was out with my boyfriend. You may recognise this coat as it’s almost identical to my yellow Zara coat, just without the pocket! It fits the same and I love pastel blue at the moment as I’m sure you have already noticed! I decided that one thing I needed to stock up on was some pretty coats as being a UK fashion blogger often means they are what I have to wear on a daily basis! I layered my new blue Zara zippered coat over my Topshop cream peplum top as I love how peplum fits! It’s so flattering to the figure in my opinion! For my jeans, I went with my new dream jeans which I am in love with! My Rag & Bone The Skinny in Sonoma! I got these a couple of weeks ago and have been living in them as they are so perfectly fitted! I originally fell for the wash when I saw it in Harvey Nichols 2 months or so ago. They really are incredible and I recommend them to anyone! They always have such great washes and fits. I tucked them into my old River Island boots and then, for my bag, I wore something brand new that you haven’t yet seen! My 3.1 Phillip Lim Mini Pashli in Pollen Buff! Isn’t it beautiful? I got it on Shopbop when they had a discount code as I had always wanted a Mini Pashli. I wasn’t…

Little Woodland Animals Upon My Blazer

(Jacket – Exact, Jeans – Exact, Bag – Exact, Shoes – Similar, Bracelet – Exact) How adorable is this blazer? When I first saw it on the Choies website (after being asked by them to style something) I thought it matched my personality perfectly. I love little birds, squirrels and woodland animals and being around nature in general as you know, so it’s the perfect choice for me! I got this in a size small, but since Choies is from China, it’s actually a bit small on me and I probably should have got the size medium, but it’s got a little bit of stretch to it to make it fit me ok. I love the idea of blazers and jeans together, it’s one of my favourite combinations, so I thought pairing the woodland blazer with my new Genetic Denim Shya jeans would be a great choice. The rips and distressing on these combined with the lighter wash make these jeans a good match to tone the look down. I think if I went with a darker wash jean, it would look too put together and smart and I wanted a causal ease to my outfit, plus these jeans are incredibly soft and comfortable. Now on to my accessories, I paired the jeans and blazer with my Topshop Gabbi metallic toe cap heels in black just to go with the colour scheme. The blazer has pops of black on the inside and at the sleeves, so it tied in nicely. I’ve worn these shoes a lot of times, as well as my nude version of them, and I absolutely adore…

Some New Autumn Clothes & Accessories Purchases

I haven’t done a new purchases post in quite a while, so I thought it was about time that I did. Over the past month or so I have acquired a few new things while trying to stock up my Autumn wardrobe! You probably already know by now that Autumn is my favourite time of year and I can never get enough jackets and coats to suit the season. I’m also very much addicted to accessories in the form of jewellery and anything sparkly! Above I have 3 new little things that I got as I am loving gold at the moment. I have a nail polish from Topshop in a pale and pearly gold which I think is absolutely gorgeous! I managed to finally stop biting my nails about 2 months ago so I can’t wait to start painting them! I purchased the other 2 bracelets from River Island when I fell in love with them. I’m a sucker for gold chains and had been wanting one as a bracelet for some time. I’m not really a fan of the bracelets with clasps though as it’s pretty impossible to put them on and off yourself, so when I saw this one with a t-bar closure, I knew it would be perfect! Finally, that brings me to the beetle bracelet, isn’t it amazing? The coloured stones were what originally attracted me to the bracelet in the first place as I love rainbows, but I think the giant beetle on the front of it gives it so much character! It’s gorgeous! I have 2 pairs of the Topshop metallic toe cap…

Gone With The Humming Birds

(Skirt – Exact, Top – Similar, Sandals – Exact, Ring – Exact, Bracelets – Similar, Necklace – Exact, Bag – Similar, Sunglasses – Exact) This is the outfit that I wore out to lunch with my boyfriend on the weekend. You may have noticed by now that it’s sort of become a tradition to go out to lunch together when he’s here, it’s just something we love to do. I wore my new Humming Bird Burgundy Skirt from ASOS for the day as it was so hot, I needed something to cool me down. I had to wear this really long dress vest underneath though because whenever wind comes along, the skirt flips up and I would have been showing myself to everyone walking by ha ha. Thank goodness I did have it on because my skirt definitely blew up numerous times! I paired the Humming Bird Skirt with my new River Island Studded Sandals, a Miss Selfridge Black Dress Top, various Gold Bracelets and a Horns Ring from ASOS, a Krystal Swarovski Tear Drop Gem Ring in Fuchsia, my Topshop Crystal Pave Bunting Collar Necklace my Mulberry Mini Taylor in Deer Brown and my Ray-Ban Aviators with Blue Mirrored Lenses. I always love the combination of burgundy and black, as I’m sure you know by now, so I think finishing it off with loads of accessories is always the best way. On a separate note, today I am actually on my way to Buckingham Palace to a special exhibition for press. It’s in celebration of the Queens coronation and I am going to see the dresses, jewels, carriages etc…

It’s A Denim Dungarees Thing Overall

(Dungarees – Exact, Top – Exact, Shoes – Similar, Bracelets – Similar) Dungarees or overalls were incredibly popular in the 80’s and when I was a child in the 90’s, but they since phased out of fashion. I used to wear dungarees when I was about 1-4 years old as apparently I loved them, although I am thinking this was something to do with my mums love for them, ha ha. But, I am so glad they have come back into fashion! As with everything that makes its way back into our lives, it gets updated and changed, so that’s why I love these. I got these G-Star denim dungarees in the sale at ASOS online last week and fell in love with them. I love the fact that they are skinny and slouchy with bracer/suspender style straps instead of the classic full denim back. This new twist on the dungarees is perfect! Not to mention the wash of these G-Star overalls is amazing. It’s so blue and faded, but with whiskers and acid washing in all of the right places. I am not really a fan of pairing denim dungarees with jumpers or long sleeve tops underneath as I find that can look quite dated, so the way I like to wear them is with a bandeau top. I also bought this white bandeau top from ASOS with the order, it was only £5 so it was a great deal. I didn’t include it in Monday’s new purchases post, but I think it suits these dungarees really well and gives off that easy going ready for summer vibe that…

New Purchases: Dungarees, Skirts, Jeans & More

I haven’t done a new purchases post in quite some time, so I thought it was about time that I did one. I have been sharing with you a few new things here and there, but I haven’t really been on a big shopping spree in a while, so I thought it was about time that I did! I had been wanting a pair of denim dungarees (or overalls to my American readers) for a really long time. I used to wear dungarees a lot as a child and I am so glad they have came back in fashion! I purchased these G-Star denim dungarees in It Aged online at ASOS in the sale for an amazing price! I definitely couldn’t say no to the sale amount, plus an extra 10% off as well, so I snapped them up and I adore them! The best thing about them is they are slightly slouchy, but they are skinny, so they don’t have that ‘mom vibe’ about them at all! I will have an outfit post featuring these dungarees really soon! I also purchased this adorable burgundy humming bird skirt from ASOS in the same order. The skirt was a great price and I have been in need of something floaty and easy wearing for this heat wave we are having. The humming bird print on the skirt is really dainty and the fit of it is very feminine and beautiful. I will also have an outfit post this week featuring this skirt!

Ombre Denim Shirt With Black Jeans

(Jeans – Exact, Shirt – Similar, Boots – Exact, Bracelets – Exact & Exact) I hadn’t got around to posting this outfit yet, even though I did shoot the outfits a couple of weeks ago. You may remember this shirt as I have worn it a few times previously, it’s one of my favourites. I love ombre denim and I didn’t even mind this one was from the men’s section either! I paired the shirt with my favourite waxed black jeans, which I have also worn numerous times before! I’m wearing my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Jeans, my River Island Ombre Denim Shirt, my KG by Kurt Geiger Winona Boots, a Bracelet by Boho Babydoll and other Jewellery by ASOS. The beaded bracelet on the right in the below photo was given to me by Hannah who designs them for her company Boho Baby Doll and it can also be worn as a necklace too, it’s really adorable. She makes some pretty handmade bracelets which you might want to check out on her Facebook! As usual there are more photos if you click this post. What do you think of the look?
