Leather Leggings With A Corset Belt

Leather Leggings With A White Shirt And Corset Belt Happy Saturday! These photos were shot a few weeks ago when the first sign of Spring was starting to hit! It was pretty chilly, but there was some beautiful sunshine hitting, which made a change! I honestly can’t believe how fast the time is going though! Can you? It’s already past mid March, the clocks go forward next weekend, and it will soon be Summer! Can you believe it? Everything has been a blur for the last year, it’s madness. Anyway, for this outfit, I wanted to mix it up a bit and do something different. I actually put this together on a whim and wasn’t expecting it to look this cool, so I really like how it turned out! I was wearing my Commando Faux Leather Leggings (they’re so flattering and comfortable, they’re my favourite leggings) with my Oversized Zara White Shirt. Since this shirt is really loose, I used my Pretty Little Thing Corset Belt to pull the waist together and create the hourglass shape. I then finished it off with my Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 Heels, and my Chanel Wallet On Chain Bag in Black. Black and white always makes a statement when it comes to outfits, and I think this look here proves that. It mixes fashionable and classy together, in a fun, but sophisticated way. I’m keeping this post short and sweet, focused mostly on the outfit, so what’s your opinion on this outfit? I’d love to know! Lorna xx. It’s 11 Years Today, Since I…

…Started Raindrops of Sapphire! I founded this fashion blog on the 10th March 2010 and I cannot believe that 11 years has gone by already. I shot these photos yesterday with my mum, and in all honesty, I had forgotten that it was my blog’s birthday today, but as it turns out, these photos actually ended up being perfect for this personal post. There’s something about them that embodies a more confident, powerful vibe that I’ve been feeling lately. I don’t know if it’s the trousers and heels combination, but I really love how it turned out. I will briefly tell you about the outfit at the bottom of this post, but first, I’ll share my thoughts at the moment with you! Where I’m at right now is definitely a good place, for the most part, but I also have my ups and downs. Like everyone around the whole world has felt this year, it’s been absolutely insane and crazy. None of us could have predicted that we would be in the midst of a global pandemic, and hardly any of us have been able to handle it with grace and positivity. It’s been extremely worrying, depressing, and quite frankly, life changing, especially for myself. I never thought that I’d be celebrating my blog’s 11th birthday this way, especially as the lockdowns have been on and off for a year now, but here we are. One thing that this has taught me is that I shouldn’t take everything for granted. Just the simple act of going out to eat lunch, see my family, and just simply going for a picnic…

Christian Louboutin Ultimate Buying Guide

Christian Louboutin Ultimate Buying Guide A lot of you ladies have come to me over the past couple of years for Christian Louboutin advice. A post I did back in 2010 (click here to see post) about sizing advice and getting your Christian Louboutin shoes to fit, is still my most popular post on my blog to date and has almost 400 comments with questions and answers regarding his shoes. With that in mind, I thought it was about time that I did a new post which is more in depth about finding the right Christian Louboutin shoe for you and your feet, as well as letting you know how to get authentic pairs at cheaper prices (no fakes) and learning to be comfortable in them. Through my shoe life span I have had about 20 pairs of Louboutin shoes, but currently remain with 11 in my collection. I don’t wear them often at all on my blog as I class them as very special shoes and I rarely ever wear them for everyday wear. I usually only break them out on occasions that warrant fancy shoes. The main reason I don’t wear them often though is because of comfort. I find his shoes to be highly painful and it’s somewhat of an art form getting them to fit correctly without killing your feet. Msr. Louboutin himself doesn’t have any sympathy for the pain his shoes inflict as he once stated: I really have not so much sympathy. If Tina Turner and Prince’s back-up band can perform on stage in them for three hours, you can’t tell me they are…

A Burgundy Leather Jacket Outfit

A Burgundy Leather Allsaints Jacket Outfit Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you’re all doing well! I know lots of things are going back to normal now in the UK and that’s exciting! I hope they continue because it’s been really stressful for all of us. Adam and I shot these photos earlier on in the year actually, and again, I hadn’t got around to posting them, but I’m glad that I have quite a few outfits left over to share with you at the moment. I’m planning on shooting new ones in a couple of weeks time, so that’s exciting! I haven’t done an outfit shoot since March! Wow, how time flies! Anyway, for this look, I was wearing an Allsaints Dalby Leather Jacket in Dark Raspberry Pink (buy it on Revolve Clothing by clicking here), which I got in the sale earlier this year for around 60% off! I took a size UK 8 in this one, if you were wondering! I’d always wanted a burgundy leather jacket and finally found one that was perfect! I paired it with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Grey, my Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 in Black, a simple Black Long Sleeve Top from GAP, and my Mulberry Lily Bag in Oxblood. There’s something about a burgundy, black, and grey combination that I love. These shades just complement each other really well. Are you a fan? Again, as these photos were shot a few months back, I was a bit more curvier here than I am now as I’ve still lost all of the weight that I gained a while ago. I think…

The Dog Print Shirt And Velvet Chanel

Yumi Dalmatian Print Shirt With A Chanel Velvet Bag I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Adam and I spent it in Bristol doing a photoshoot session all weekend, and of course watching Eurovision on the TV! Glad to see we didn’t disappoint and came last, as always, ha ha. It was a very busy and hectic weekend for me, I was extremely tired and ended up with a migraine, but it was productive so we did get a lot done, including these photos that we shot on Friday! I had been planning this outfit for quite some time actually, and since it wasn’t raining, or too cold, it was the perfect time to wear it! I was wearing my Yumi Dalmatian Dog Print Shirt that I picked up at Clarks Village shopping outlet last month. Do you remember seeing it in my purchases in my trip to Clarks Village blog post that I did? I couldn’t wait to style it as it was the first piece that I picked up during the day there. As you can see from the photos, it has the cutest doggy print all over it, but as it’s black and white it’s also chic at the same time, which is why I decided to dress it up instead of down. I opted to pair this Yumi shirt with my L’AGENCE Margot skinny jeans in Graphite, tied together with my ASOS Western Belt. Then for the accessories, I added some height with my Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 in Black, and then breaking the black and white theme, I chose my Chanel Small Boy Bag…

Seeing Stars All Over My Dress

A Dress Dripped In Stars I feel like I am going back to my roots a bit with this look. Back in my teenage years I used to be quite Gothic and grungey, so stars and anything floaty was often a go to for me. When I saw this gorgeous Lovers + Friends Tucana Dress in Star Print, I was instantly attracted to it. I thought the long and billowing arms with the wrap front skirt was quite flattering, but unique at the same time, so when it came to styling it, I knew I wanted to give it more of a darker, creepy vibe which is why I chose a Crescent here in Bath. I think the black railings and curved streets are effective. Plus, there was a house there called ‘Moody House’ and I thought that just summed up the vibe perfectly. I decided to wear my Christian Louboutin Pigalle Shoes in Black as I wanted to keep the black theme going, and then opted for my ZAC Zac Posen Earthette Clutch with stars on it too. For the jewellery, I went with my Swarovski Bracelet and a Butler & Wilson Eye Ring. Even though this is something entirely and completely different to what I would usually wear, I actually love how it turned out. I think it’s good to mix things up now and again. If this dress is too long for you, Lovers + Friends do a shorter version which is a bit different (see here) and that could work too! I’m going to keep this quite short as I want the photos to be the…

Styling A Nasa Cap With Gucci Accessories

A Gucci Belt & Bag Styled With A Black Outfit Happy Saturday everyone! I finally watched Avengers: Infinity War yesterday as I usually wait a week or so to limit the crowds, but I still ended up with noisy people in the cinema, being irritating (I seriously hate that!). I wont give out any spoilers, don’t worry! I was avoiding social media all week as I didn’t want to spoil it, but as it turns out, I found some parts of it quite boring and long, but the rest was great. I expected this one to be partly boring due to it building up for part two. But then maybe I just didn’t get enough Cap screen time, ha ha. Has anyone else seen it? Thoughts? For this outfit, I wanted to go for something quite different and mix a few elements into one. I was wearing a Tobi Kari Choker Bodysuit which I paired with my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Jeans in Black Leatherette (seen here), finished with a Gucci GG Belt in Black. I thought this made a great base for the outfit as the different shades of black worked well together, but seamlessly, broken up nicely with the gold buckle on the belt. Then for my accessories, I opted for my Christian Louboutin Pigalle in Black to give my legs some height, then chose my Gucci Marmont Mini GG Back in Black Velvet to match my belt and keep it classy. I finally added in my NASA Cap just to make it a little bit more sporty and casual – I didn’t want it to be too…

The Velvet Lace Up Body Suit With Leatherette Jeans

Burgundy Lace Up Bodysuit With Leatherette Jeans Here is the second Valentine’s Day inspired outfit! You just saw the first one where I wore a pretty red dress which was quite feminine, but I think this look is more on the risque side and evening appropriate. I’m wearing another piece from Tobi, which is this gorgeous Lisbeth Lace Up Bodysuit in Burgundy Velvet with my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Leatherette Jeans in Black. I thought the two paired really nicely together as I’m always for burgundy and black, they just complement each other in every way. For my shoes, to keep the burgundy theme running, I opted for the RAYE Burgundy Heels, and then finished it off with an accessory in the form of my Gucci GG Belt in Black. I think this belt really helps tie everything together and complete the outfit. I originally had it all on without it, but when I looked in the mirror, there was something missing. I knew it was a belt and reached for this one to really add some statement to it – I love how it turned out. Now believe it or not, this is actually my first time wearing a bodysuit. I must say, I have always been left disappointed by the fact that all the pretty, lacy tops are always a bodysuit and they weren’t ever something I was fond of as I find them to be a hassle, however I gave it a try and was actually quite surprised at how well it fits. It takes some getting used to though with the poppers since it’s like wearing…
