Betsey Johnson Spring/Summer 2012

Here is the second show that I completely fell in love with during the shows! It’s the Betsey Johnson Spring/Summer 2012 collection which she showed at New York Fashion Week last week. I have always had a soft spot for Betsey Johnson because of how girly, feminine and fun her designs are! I love the bright colours she uses, the floral prints and how much her dresses resemble a princess. I think it’s nice to be reminded of childhood memories and imaginations with her collections. I don’t own anything from Betsey Johnson except for a pair of sunglasses as it’s really hard to get the brand over here but it doesn’t stop me wanting her clothes! I fell in love with the pink and purple puffball dress last year and liked it even more when Katie Perry wore it to the People’s Choice Awards! What do you think of these designs? My Second Birthday Outfit

I actually went out to lunch twice on the week of my birthday and this time we went out to a new place called Cosy Club. We sat outside on the balcony and it was really beautiful. I’ve become quite fond of this Sparkle & Fade top as well now, it’s really comfy and I like it paired with these shoes. I’m wearing 7 For All Mankind Gwenevere jeans in Zuma Sunset, a Sparkle & Fade jumper/sweater, my Urban Outfitters wedges and Deer necklace, Betsey Johnson sunglasses and my Mulberry Alexa clutch in Powder Sparkle Tweed. This is actually my Alexa’s first outing. I’ve read loads of things on TPF about how delicate it is and how you need to be really careful with colour transfer. I wore a light pair of jeans which have no colour rubbing off issue but I still managed to get a small blue stain on the back of the bag unfortunately. I think not getting colour on the Alexa is going to actually be near impossible which is upsetting but I love the bag so much, I really want to wear it and not have to worry. Floral Dresses & Military Denim

The weather is now boiling hot again and I love it! I’m eagerly awaiting this weekend because it’s going to be roasting and I’m going to a lovely little Italian restaurant that I haven’t been to before. What are your plans for the weekend? I’m wearing a RARE blue floral dress, an old Miss Selfridge denim military waistcoat, New Look sandals, Priya Kakkar crystal bangles, a Topshop peacock ring and purple box bag and Betsey Johnson sunglasses. I love these sunglasses actually, I hadn’t ever tried Betsey Johnson ones but I fell in love with the fuchsia plastic frame and the gold detailing on the side. I’ve also had this waistcoat for a really long time, over a year, but I’ve never worn it because I couldn’t figure out what to wear it with, but it’s more wearable than I thought! I just needed a dress or skirt. As always there are more photos after the jump! (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)
