Monochrome Grey Over The Knee Boots Outfit

Monochrome Grey Over The Knee Boots Outfit Happy Wednesday everyone! I wanted to quickly say thank you to you for the amazing love and support you all gave me on my previous post celebrating my 9 years of blogging and body confidence! You’re all so wonderful and it’s been one of my best posts on Instagram in terms of engagement as well, so it’s not going unnoticed how much support you all give me. I’m glad you’re all really liking the new way I edit my photos too, which actually leads me to this location. There’s so many pretty crescents and circus areas here in Bath that they make the best backdrops for my outfits, especially with the use of lighting, and hints of orange and blue, it really plays off of the Bath stone that all the buildings use. You might think that I’m often using the same location, but I’m not, there’s at least 5 different crescents I use here, ha ha. Anyway, for this outfit, I was wearing a jumper that I got in the sale from Topman (buy it here) for only £12! Adam had got one and I really liked it, so I had to get the same, naturally, ha ha. It’s so cosy and soft though, so I decided to pair it with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite (my favourite ankle jeans ever!), which I put my ASOS Western Belt around to break it up and tuck the jumper into. To make it a bit more feminine, I wore my DUO Grey Over The Knee Boots again, and then finished it off…

A Horse Coin Blouse With A Corduroy Skirt

A Horse Coin Blouse With A Corduroy Skirt Happy Thursday! It’s really starting to feel like Spring isn’t it? I’m seeing all of the crocuses and blossoms appearing, which is exciting! After Autumn, Spring is my favourite time of year, so I can’t get enough of the beautiful blooms that will be gracing our eyes very soon – I’ve got some exciting photoshoots planned with the scenery too, so hopefully those go to plan. For this outfit, I wore a new Topshop Horse Coin Shirt that I bought last week, which I styled with my Topshop Corduroy Beige Skirt, finished off with my Gucci GG Belt. To keep with the theme of neutral and brown/beige, I went with my Jimmy Choo Romy Heels in Brown and my Mulberry Small Darley in Oak, as I think all of these shades complement each other really well. I wouldn’t usually wear a shirt like this as it’s designed with a neck tie to have a pussy bow at the collar, but I never wear my shirts buttoned all the way to the top as I find it to be unflattering on me, so I went for an open button with the tie hanging down, which I think gave it a much more casual appearance and I like that. The corduroy fabric of the skirt is toned down too making it even more casual, but dressing these pieces up with the accessories brings it together and makes it formal as well, giving it a more versatile vibe. I wanted to keep this blog post a bit shorter this time as I’ve been super busy…

Valentine’s Day In Blush Pink

Allsaints Gemini Metallic Pink Jumper Outfit First of all, Happy Valentine’s Day! I know not everyone celebrates it, but if you’re not in a relationship, that doesn’t matter either! It’s a day for love and appreciation and that reaches far beyond your relationship status, especially since we have Galentine’s Day now too, for the girls to spend together! I always feel like love is so important, it truly is what makes the world go round and what makes us happy, so make sure your loved ones know how you feel, whether that’s family, friends, or a significant other, and of course not forgetting our pets! Now for me, I’m not usually too fussed with doing anything on Valentine’s as I always believe in showing how you feel as often as possible, not just once a year on a set day because that’s the rule, however, Adam had persuaded me this year to do something and I’m super excited for it. This may sound really lame to a lot of you, but we’re going to spend it doing a completely normal day, but without work! I know that might sound strange, but whenever we go out on the weekends (we do long distance so we only spend some weekends together) it’s always work related, so even if we go to town to have lunch, we always have to do a photoshoot before we eat, sometimes two (for both of us), as well as be on social media, so we never get to fully relax. With that in mind, Adam said lets have a day of no photos and no social media.…

The Senreve Aria Belt Bag Outfit

Senreve Aria Belt Bag With Skinny Jeans And Boots Happy Friday everyone! While Storm Erik is causing havoc outside, I wanted to share an outfit that we shot a couple of months ago now. I’ve got so many outfits to share with you and just not enough time to do it, ha ha. So while it’s freezing, heavy rain, and blowing a gale, I’m feeling warmer looking at these Autumn photos instead. I thought it would be nice to post this one now to escape the temperatures outside. I’m really enjoying my new editing style too, while it takes a lot longer for me to do it, I like how it’s looking and it’s working well! Anyway, for this outfit, I was wearing my new Senreve Aria Belt Bag in Merlot that I got on Shopbop after admiring the brand for about a year. I chose to wear it with my new L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite (gifted) which have quickly become my favourite black jeans based on how much I’ve been wearing them. I opted for my new UO Cosy Chenille Jumper as well that I purchased a couple of months ago, and finished it off with my Allsaints Black Ankle Boots (similar here) that I got years ago and still love. I didn’t wear any jewellery or a coat for this look, so it really is just a black, white and red combination that I think is so classic! Getting back to the L’AGENCE Margot, I literally have been living in them. I wore them to London, for travel and errands, I wear them for dress up…

Faux Fur Coat With A Corduroy Skirt

The Zara Faux Fur Coat With A Cord Skirt And Boots I hope everyone is well and had a lovely weekend! Monday is here again and it’s a fresh start to the week, and comes with it a bit of a new fresh look on my photos and how I am editing them. We shot this look at Lansdown Crescent and the location is just beautiful! It’s so luxurious and reminds me a lot of the older era that was cobblestones with horse and carts over a century ago here in Bath. With that in mind, I wanted to wear an outfit that was suitable for the location, along the same colour scheme, but of course fashionable at the same time, and this is what I came up with. I opted to wear my favourite Zara Blush Pink Faux Fur Coat that I got a few months ago. I originally thought it was cream as the photos show that, but it’s a subtle pink in real life and I love it more. I layered it over a Fluffy Brown Jumper, which is also from Zara, as I like these warm, neutral tones together. For the other pieces, I chose this Topshop Cord Skirt in Beige as I rarely wear skirts that often, especially not in corduroy, and this one turned out to be the perfect neutral! Plus, it’s in the sale right now for only £15, so it’s a bargain. I then topped that off with my Gucci GG Belt in Tan, as I think that just pulled it all together in the middle, and finished it off with my…

The Burberry Rainbow Scarf Outfit

The Burberry Rainbow Cashmere Scarf Outfit Happy Tuesday! Is it snowing where you are? I’ve been waiting for the snow to come for days now! Anyway, I thought I would share this look with you that we shot a couple of months ago and I never got the chance to publish it yet. You might remember this Rainbow Burberry Cashmere Scarf as I had it on my wish list for months back in the Summer, and I finally picked it up in Autumn in the sale! It’s everything I was hoping for and more! It combines the camel house check with a beautiful rainbow stripe, which commemorates Christopher Bailey’s last collection for Burberry, and represents the LGBTQ community, which I am always in support of. Funnily enough, when the rainbow cape first hit the runway last year, I fell in love with it (it looks like this), but given the fact that it was over £1000 and I didn’t have much use for a cape, I never purchased it. I was hoping so much that they would release a scarf just like it, but I was beginning to doubt it because the only rainbow scarves that were appearing were not what I was looking for, until that magical day when this arrived! I knew I had to have it and it was exactly what I was looking for, plus the fact that it’s reversible so you can wear red plaid on the other side, it basically makes three scarves in one! I was just waiting for that all important discount before making the purchase, and I’m glad I did! So…

Double Denim With Sherpa In A Unique Way

The Topshop Borg Denim Jacket Outfit This outfit here somewhat became my uniform during the Autumn for running errands and just popping out. Those of you who follow me on Instagram (@LornaRaindrops) will know that I was debating over purchasing this denim jacket from Topshop for a while because I wasn’t sure if I liked it, but every time I saw it, I loved it even more. When I tried it on, I was head over heels in love with it, so I was sold on keeping it and it turned out to be one of the best things I did. Not everyone loves it though, in fact it was pretty 50/50 when I put the polls up because of the borg design, but I can’t get enough of it, and still love it so much now. Since it’s designed to fit a bit boxy and oversized, I went with a UK 8 to keep that look, and I am glad I did because it means I can wear it with thicker knitwear underneath too, if I so wish. I was worried that it did make me look disproportionate and would overwhelm me with so much material, but much like my teddy coats, once you get the proportions right with the rest of your clothes, it looks fantastic. So my outfit here is the Topshop Borg Denim Jacket (click here as it’s on sale right now) which I styled with my Topshop Cropped Grey Jumper, and then finished it off with my PAIGE Margot Skinny Jeans, as they’re a similar blue wash. If you prefer a different borg on the…

An Autumn Walk With Adam In Allsaints

Twinning With Adam In Allsaints Coats Remember when I shared my twinning with Adam in Calvin Klein blog post? And I said that I had another one to share with you as well? Well, here it is! Adam and I shot these photos (my mum was the photographer again, I edited) in the Autumn, if you couldn’t tell, ha ha, and I’m sharing them with you now. We were looking for a perfect woodland location with golden tones, and we happened upon this secluded little walkway area near Lansdown Crescent here in Bath. I was shocked that we had never seen it before, and it’s amazing what gems you can find when you scout around and go down roads you didn’t know existed, and I fell in love with it so much. I can’t wait to go there again and do more shoots next year, but I imagine it will be stunning in the Summer too! Since we did casual sweatshirts and Golden Goose sneakers last time, this time we wanted to go for a more classic, dressed up outfit, while still twinning. Adam and I are both huge fans of Allsaints, and we own very similar coats, so we opted to wear our Allsaints Overcoats. Adam is wearing the Bodell (buy it here) and I was wearing the Leni, which I got a couple of years ago, but you can buy similar here. For our jeans, I went with my PAIGE Margot Black Skinny Jeans and Adam had his J Brand Maria in Black, both very similar. We opted for simple brown knits underneath (mine Topshop, Adam’s Topman) and…
