Hunter Coral Wellies Outfit

Hunter Coral Wellies With A Bright Check Scarf I’m doing a little throwback here! Since I ended up shooting so many Autumn photos, I never got around to sharing this set and it got pushed aside in place of my Winter looks! The reason I didn’t share this one sooner though is because I wasn’t sure on it. I absolutely love the combination of bright colours here, but since I don’t really wear much in the way of brights now and my new way of editing photos doesn’t suit Autumn (typically) I couldn’t figure out how to put these to good use. Anyway, I definitely wanted to share as the more I looked at these photos, the more I enjoyed the whole outfit, especially the scarf and wellies paired together. I haven’t used any sort of theme on here, as you can see, I just muted the green of the grass and that’s it, so these photos are pretty much in their natural state here. I was wearing my Hunter Original Tall Wellies in Coral (which you remember from this outfit) and I tucked them into my PAIGE Margot Jeans in Shadow. I chose my Zara Knitted Jumper in Cream to keep a black and white neutral base, then opted for my Joules Checked Scarf as it really complemented the coral in the rain boots. It’s such a gorgeous scarf, isn’t it? The only thing is, when you wrap it around, the bright shades vanish a lot as they get hidden in the tuck, so does anyone know how to wear a square scarf like this and have the middle…

All Brown And Layered

Monochrome Brown Layers Usually I don’t struggle too much when looking for a title for my outfit posts, but this one I did! Eventually I just decided to be literal with it, but I would be very intrigued to hear anyone else’s title ideas that you think would suit this look! Maybe that could be something fun for the Wednesday hump day, you can choose my title and the best one will win! Anyway, Adam and I shot these photos a few weeks back and I had decided that I wanted to wear a neutral looking, monochrome style outfit, but with various shades of brown and warm tones. I actually really like how it turned out as well as I think the key to getting monochrome right is mixing in different textures from the fabrics, with different lengths and fits, as well as the various shades on a colour palette, so it makes it really interesting and not too uniform. When I look at this, even though it’s all quite similar, it’s extremely different at the same time and I like that. It might be one of my favourite comfy and casual looks I have worn this year so far! So, what was I wearing? I opted to create a base of my favourite L’AGENCE Margot Jeans in Graphite, paired with my Allsaints roll neck jumper. I then put my Louis Vuitton belt around the jeans to break it up, but keep with the theme. I threw on my thick knitted cardigan from Pretty Little Thing as it was just the right shade of lighter brown, and then went with…

The Horse Coin Shirt With White Jeans

Topshop Horse Coin Shirt With Jeans So you saw my first outfit with this Topshop Horse Coin Shirt (if you missed it, see it here) and you all really liked the styling with the beige corduroy skirt, so what I have done for the second look is kept everything the same, but swapped out the skirt for a pair of AGOLDE Sophie Skinny Jeans in White, to bring a different vibe and feel to the outfit. The other pieces I was wearing are my Mulberry Small Darley in Oak, my Gucci GG Belt in Tan, and my Jimmy Choo Romy 85 Shoes. I’ve kept the location the same and everything else, so you can really see how different the outfit looks with one piece changed. I was surprised myself actually at how a pair of distressed white jeans makes the ensemble tougher, more casual, and gives it an edge, compared to how chic, feminine and classy it looked before, but both of them still have a playful twist because of the blouse. Since I covered everything else in the previous post, I don’t need to go into too much detail with this article, so I’m going to leave you with the big question of which look you prefer. Do you prefer it with the skirt, or with the jeans? I want to hear your arguments for both! Lorna xx.

Monochrome Grey Over The Knee Boots Outfit

Monochrome Grey Over The Knee Boots Outfit Happy Wednesday everyone! I wanted to quickly say thank you to you for the amazing love and support you all gave me on my previous post celebrating my 9 years of blogging and body confidence! You’re all so wonderful and it’s been one of my best posts on Instagram in terms of engagement as well, so it’s not going unnoticed how much support you all give me. I’m glad you’re all really liking the new way I edit my photos too, which actually leads me to this location. There’s so many pretty crescents and circus areas here in Bath that they make the best backdrops for my outfits, especially with the use of lighting, and hints of orange and blue, it really plays off of the Bath stone that all the buildings use. You might think that I’m often using the same location, but I’m not, there’s at least 5 different crescents I use here, ha ha. Anyway, for this outfit, I was wearing a jumper that I got in the sale from Topman (buy it here) for only £12! Adam had got one and I really liked it, so I had to get the same, naturally, ha ha. It’s so cosy and soft though, so I decided to pair it with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite (my favourite ankle jeans ever!), which I put my ASOS Western Belt around to break it up and tuck the jumper into. To make it a bit more feminine, I wore my DUO Grey Over The Knee Boots again, and then finished it off…

A Horse Coin Blouse With A Corduroy Skirt

A Horse Coin Blouse With A Corduroy Skirt Happy Thursday! It’s really starting to feel like Spring isn’t it? I’m seeing all of the crocuses and blossoms appearing, which is exciting! After Autumn, Spring is my favourite time of year, so I can’t get enough of the beautiful blooms that will be gracing our eyes very soon – I’ve got some exciting photoshoots planned with the scenery too, so hopefully those go to plan. For this outfit, I wore a new Topshop Horse Coin Shirt that I bought last week, which I styled with my Topshop Corduroy Beige Skirt, finished off with my Gucci GG Belt. To keep with the theme of neutral and brown/beige, I went with my Jimmy Choo Romy Heels in Brown and my Mulberry Small Darley in Oak, as I think all of these shades complement each other really well. I wouldn’t usually wear a shirt like this as it’s designed with a neck tie to have a pussy bow at the collar, but I never wear my shirts buttoned all the way to the top as I find it to be unflattering on me, so I went for an open button with the tie hanging down, which I think gave it a much more casual appearance and I like that. The corduroy fabric of the skirt is toned down too making it even more casual, but dressing these pieces up with the accessories brings it together and makes it formal as well, giving it a more versatile vibe. I wanted to keep this blog post a bit shorter this time as I’ve been super busy…

Valentine’s Day In Blush Pink

Allsaints Gemini Metallic Pink Jumper Outfit First of all, Happy Valentine’s Day! I know not everyone celebrates it, but if you’re not in a relationship, that doesn’t matter either! It’s a day for love and appreciation and that reaches far beyond your relationship status, especially since we have Galentine’s Day now too, for the girls to spend together! I always feel like love is so important, it truly is what makes the world go round and what makes us happy, so make sure your loved ones know how you feel, whether that’s family, friends, or a significant other, and of course not forgetting our pets! Now for me, I’m not usually too fussed with doing anything on Valentine’s as I always believe in showing how you feel as often as possible, not just once a year on a set day because that’s the rule, however, Adam had persuaded me this year to do something and I’m super excited for it. This may sound really lame to a lot of you, but we’re going to spend it doing a completely normal day, but without work! I know that might sound strange, but whenever we go out on the weekends (we do long distance so we only spend some weekends together) it’s always work related, so even if we go to town to have lunch, we always have to do a photoshoot before we eat, sometimes two (for both of us), as well as be on social media, so we never get to fully relax. With that in mind, Adam said lets have a day of no photos and no social media.…

The Senreve Aria Belt Bag Outfit

Senreve Aria Belt Bag With Skinny Jeans And Boots Happy Friday everyone! While Storm Erik is causing havoc outside, I wanted to share an outfit that we shot a couple of months ago now. I’ve got so many outfits to share with you and just not enough time to do it, ha ha. So while it’s freezing, heavy rain, and blowing a gale, I’m feeling warmer looking at these Autumn photos instead. I thought it would be nice to post this one now to escape the temperatures outside. I’m really enjoying my new editing style too, while it takes a lot longer for me to do it, I like how it’s looking and it’s working well! Anyway, for this outfit, I was wearing my new Senreve Aria Belt Bag in Merlot that I got on Shopbop after admiring the brand for about a year. I chose to wear it with my new L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite (gifted) which have quickly become my favourite black jeans based on how much I’ve been wearing them. I opted for my new UO Cosy Chenille Jumper as well that I purchased a couple of months ago, and finished it off with my Allsaints Black Ankle Boots (similar here) that I got years ago and still love. I didn’t wear any jewellery or a coat for this look, so it really is just a black, white and red combination that I think is so classic! Getting back to the L’AGENCE Margot, I literally have been living in them. I wore them to London, for travel and errands, I wear them for dress up…

Faux Fur Coat With A Corduroy Skirt

The Zara Faux Fur Coat With A Cord Skirt And Boots I hope everyone is well and had a lovely weekend! Monday is here again and it’s a fresh start to the week, and comes with it a bit of a new fresh look on my photos and how I am editing them. We shot this look at Lansdown Crescent and the location is just beautiful! It’s so luxurious and reminds me a lot of the older era that was cobblestones with horse and carts over a century ago here in Bath. With that in mind, I wanted to wear an outfit that was suitable for the location, along the same colour scheme, but of course fashionable at the same time, and this is what I came up with. I opted to wear my favourite Zara Blush Pink Faux Fur Coat that I got a few months ago. I originally thought it was cream as the photos show that, but it’s a subtle pink in real life and I love it more. I layered it over a Fluffy Brown Jumper, which is also from Zara, as I like these warm, neutral tones together. For the other pieces, I chose this Topshop Cord Skirt in Beige as I rarely wear skirts that often, especially not in corduroy, and this one turned out to be the perfect neutral! Plus, it’s in the sale right now for only £15, so it’s a bargain. I then topped that off with my Gucci GG Belt in Tan, as I think that just pulled it all together in the middle, and finished it off with my…
