Double Denim With Nude & Beige

(Jeans – Similar, Shirt – Similar, Coat – Similar, Sweater – Similar, Shoes – Exact & Similar) I really hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and Boxing Day! It’s been really nice to have so much free time to be able to do things I don’t usually have the time for. Plus, I’ve definitely been taking advantage of the amazing sales going on right now! I’ve managed to scoop up the glitter flats I wanted on Jimmy Choo for 40% off and I managed to get some blazers, sweaters and things on Zara in the sale! I love this time of year for shopping! There’s always so many amazing Winter pieces you can get! Speaking of winter outfits, I’ve been thinking a lot lately that I should try out a roll neck sweater. I’ve never really liked them in the past as I feel like you have to be slimmer up the top to wear them, but I’ve been looking around and have seen some really nice slouchy ones, especially the ones made of cashmere on Peter Hahn, they look slouchy and comfortable. What’s your thoughts on a roll neck sweater? I’m pretty sure you will be seeing me in one very soon, if I decide I like how they look on me that is! Anyway, getting to this outfit, we shot these photos back at the end of October, early November actually, as I’m sure you can tell by the Autumn leaves in the photos. I never got around to posting the look until now, but it’s definitely a little more preppy than I usually go for. I…

Double Denim In Spring

(Jeans – Similar, Shirt – Similar, Shoes – Similar, Hat – Similar, Bracelets – Similar) Finally the weather has warmed up enough to not have to wear loads of layers and big coats, so I wanted to make the most of it and do a double denim look for spring! Double denim is one of my favourites, but I think it looks much fresher when you pair a light wash blue with a crisp white. They contrast each other perfectly. I’m wearing my Hudson White Jeans, a Denim Shirt, Grey Platform Shoes and a Floral Grey Hat all from Topshop and some various bracelets from ASOS and Topshop. Those of you who follow me on Instagram (@LornaRaindrops) will know that I was in London yesterday. I feel really tired and ill today though as it was such a long and busy day. I did see some amazing FW13 pieces though that I can’t wait to share with you. I hope you are all well and what do you think of the outfit?

Tie Dye Double Denim

(Shirt – Similar, Shorts – Exact, Shoes – Exact, Bracelets – Similar, Watch – Similar) I wore this outfit yesterday for a picnic in the park with my mum and brother as the weather was supposed to be really hot. I know it was the hottest this year so far in London, but here it was sort of cloudy and just warm. Luckily the shoes kept my feet warm! This is a shirt that I bought about 4-5 months ago, but I never got around to wearing. I was struggling with things to pair it with, but I quite like this outfit I put together quickly yesterday. I’m wearing a Topshop tie-dye denim shirt, my vintage Levi’s denim shorts, my new River Island hidden heel trainers in Burgundy, a mix of bracelets from Topshop, H&M and New Look and my ASOS rainbow watch. This shirt is actually really long, as you can see from the back photos, and it’s the same length at the front, however I left a couple of buttons undone and tucked the sides into my front pockets so it’s shorter at the front. I always find myself adjusting pieces of clothing to make them fit me right. Sometimes with my tops, I really love the look of them so I want to wear them, but they just don’t sit right or fit right with what I’m wearing, so I have to go about adjusting them in this sort of way. I always make things work if I love something, ha ha! What do you think of the outfit?

Double Denim & Cowboy Boots

My boyfriend and I saw this really sweet little street in town over the weekend and it reminded me so much of a side street in Italy. I even love the flags draped across the tops of the buildings. For this outfit I was really excited to wear my new cowboy style boots. It’s taken me a long time to be able to find a pair that I liked and that didn’t look silly on my feet. I have quite big feet for my height and size so normally they just make me look like a clown but these ones don’t. I’m wearing a Topshop denim shirt, MET skinny jeggings, a H&M tee, my Ash Hysteria Boots from Spartoo, my Marc by Marc Jacobs Karlie clutch, a Topshop pink ring, an Urban Outfitters Deer necklace and H&M gold bangles. As always there are lots more photos if you click this post. Even though I have had this denim shirt for a year now, it’s still one of my go to pieces at the moment. I love it! It seems to go with anything. (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)

Double Denim Days

I always find myself talking about the weather, living in England it’s normally always the topic of discussion because of how crazy our weather actually is! It’s been a little cooler but it’s still muggy. At least I have been able to wear jeans on the days it was cool enough! I’m really excited for this weekend though! I’m going to watch Toy Story 3 and I can’t wait!! Everyone has been saying how amazing it is so the weekend can’t come quick enough for me 😀 I’m wearing my new Paige Premium Verdugo jeggings in Stratus, a River Island white tank top, a Topshop sleeveless denim jacket, my Rock & Republic fuchsia studded and spiked heels and my ASOS ethnic style silver cuff. I’ve also had a lot of stuff in the mail this week! I woke up a couple of days ago to 3 parcels! I’m now the proud owner of a pair of Rich & Skinny cargo leggings, Frankie B. cargo leggings, James Jeans cargo pants and today my J Brand acid wash skinnies arrived! I will be sharing them all next week hopefully! I really love cargo pants! So far I only have my Houlihans and I do adore those! Next on my list is the Paige Premium Layne cargos 🙂 Again, I would be so grateful if you would nominate my blog for the Cosmo Blog Awards 2010, it would mean so much to me! Also, please keep following me on Bloglovin, I’m almost at 100 followers! Only 10 more to go! You can follow me on Twitter too for daily updates on what I…

Denim x 4 At The Royal Crescent

A 4 x Denim Outfit At The Royal Crescent It’s absolutely no secret that I love and adore denim, I mean I own a denim blog and have been working in the denim industry since I was 17, but it’s not often that I wear it all at once! So many people are still so afraid of wearing double denim and I think that’s crazy! It’s such a chic look, which is why I went two steps further and opted for quadruple denim. 4 lots of denim in one outfit might be considered overkill, but I actually really love the way it turned out. The key to getting it right was the different shades and textures of the fabric, mixed with the different fits and proportions. It would definitely be a bit much if I was wearing all 4 items in the same indigo blue shade, but breaking it up like this makes it work perfectly! So, what was I wearing? I chose my MOTHER Skinny Jeans in Grey as the base as I think grey and blue denim goes together perfectly, so I styled them with my Topshop Sleeveless Denim Shirt which I have had for a few years now. The pale light blue shade was so complementary to the lighter tone of the grey that it was a match made in heaven. To add some extra texture, I took my GRLFRND Denim Jacket (see it properly here) as it was a slightly different shade of blue, then added in my Rebecca Minkoff Denim Bag. As you can see, they’re all completely different styles and colours. I then finished…

The Denim Skirt & Silk Top

Black Denim Skirt With A Gucci Belt & Silk Top Outfit Back in June, Adam and I shot these photos during a heat wave and it was incredibly hot! I wanted to wear something that was a bit more classy and glamorous for daytime wear, rather than something casual like I usually wear, so I opted for this outfit and really quite liked how it turned out. I was wearing a Topshop Black Denim Skirt which I styled with a REISS Fi Silk Tank Top as the base. I then put my Gucci GG Belt around the middle to add a bit of an interesting element to the look. I chose my Valentino Rockstud Sandals to match the belt, along with my Balenciaga Mini City as well, since it all has gold hardware. Then to finish it off, I chose my Daniel Wellington Classic Petite Watch, my TRIWA Sunglasses and my Azendi Swallow Earrings. The one thing I am sure you might have noticed that’s different to the normal look I go for – I wore my hair up. It was literally too hot to have it down and I decided to throw it up messily. I’m definitely no expert when it comes to hairstyles as I feel like I am officially useless at them, so it’s either up in a ponytail or bun, or I wear it down. I just never have the patience for it. I do think it complemented the outfit though, rather than having my hair down again. What do you think of the outfit? What I Was Wearing: Top – REISS Skirt – Topshop Shoes…

My Gucci Double GG Tan Belt With Gold Buckle Review

Buy this Gucci GG Belt in the UK here & in the US here When it comes to belts, you have probably noticed by they lack of presence on my blog that I am not really a fan. I’ve never really worn them as I’ve always found them to be unnecessary when it came to my outfits, or they didn’t really suit my style or jeans. So it’s safe to say that I haven’t ever liked belts all that much, apart from the odd occasion where I wore a little thin one. That however has all changed since falling in love with the Gucci Double GG Belts… I had been seeing these Gucci GG Belts everywhere on fashion bloggers, celebrities, and Instagram icons, but I always put it to the back of my mind thinking I wouldn’t like the belt on myself, just on others. The months went by and I would still find myself staring at the belt and loving it even more, but I never had the courage to buy it because it was expensive and I didn’t think I would even like it in person. I decided to bite the bullet a few weeks ago after saving up. I purchased the Gucci Tan Double GG Belt with a Gold Buckle in the 4cm size because shipping and returns were free, so if I didn’t like it, it didn’t matter. I was debating for weeks whether I should get the 1.5cm style or the 4cm style, but I thought that the smaller one was too small and the bigger one was too big. I even got in touch…
