Pink Blossom For An Evening Out

As these photos were shot back in May or June, I had on a very Summery outfit, which consisted of this Pretty Little Thing Blossom Top and one of their Pale Pink Corduroy Mini Skirts. I finished it off with some Topshop Blush Pink Ankle Boots, and some dainty jewellery. I think this outfit is not only perfect for the warmer weather, but it would be great for an evening out too as it’s pretty feminine and cute! I wasn’t planning on doing this blog post (like my other one with the red co-ord) as a get the outfit type of post because all of these pieces are sold out, and I mostly just enjoy sharing my looks with you. That’s why I’m going to keep this one very short, ask if you love the outfit, and say that I’m really looking forward to shooting my Halloween photos this weekend! Lorna xx.

The Scarlet Teddy Coat With Boots

The Reiss Scarlet Teddy Coat With Boots I get excited to write a blog post when I have a story to tell you about the item I’m wearing. That’s the case with this coat here! This is the Reiss Scarlet Teddy Coat in Grey and I originally fell in love with it in the store, on a whim after I had gone in to look for a pink coat I’d seen online. I saw this one hanging on the rail and thought it looked really pretty. They had a UK 4, which is two sizes smaller than my regular size UK 8, but as it was oversized, I tried it anyway, and absolutely loved how it looked! I wore it over a dress back in August in the changing room and was obsessed! It was a bit expensive so I left the store, but had thought about it all the time. I went back in a couple of weeks later and tried a UK 6 as the 4 was gone, but the 6 was just too big as I didn’t want it massive. As luck would have it, a couple of weekends ago they had a 10% off weekend and I had already got a £40 voucher from last year, so I ordered this Reiss Scarlet coat online and was really happy with the discount. I love it when something works out like that and I get a really good deal! So this is the outfit that I wore my new coat with, I’d planned to layer it over my Topman Sweater, paired with my new L’AGENCE Margot Jeans in…

The Red Floral Co-Ord

Adam and I shot these photos back in June I think it was, but I hadn’t got around to sharing them yet as I wasn’t sure if I wanted to post them. My style has changed a fair bit since this and I probably wouldn’t wear this kind of look now, but I thought I would post it anyway as I already had the photos. The co-ord itself is from Pretty Little Thing, my wooden clogs are from Carvella and my bag is my Valentino Lock bag in Ivory, but I do believe that pretty much all of these pieces are sold out. Again, we had re-booked our holiday to St. Ives for this week and we were supposed to leave yesterday, but we cancelled it again due to the weather as it’s still constantly raining. We’re heading to London this week for a few days instead, for a city break, rather than a beach holiday. I will be sticking to my normal posting schedule though, so I’m not taking a week off like I had planned! Anyway, I’m keeping this one short, but let me know what you think and I hope you had a nice weekend! Lorna xx.

Snakes And Cowboys

Snake Print Boots With A Western Vibe On this particular day that we shot these photos, you can’t really tell from the pictures, but it was really bad weather! It was on and off raining, the wind was constantly blowing so I was permanently holding onto my hat, and the light was bad. It’s frustrating on days like this when you have a shoot planned, but we persevered with it and found some shelter by the Bath Spa to take photos. I thought these pillars were actually a really beautiful backdrop for this look though, so that turned out lucky! I did have a cardigan with me for the chill as we walked around town (you can see a slow motion walk of this outfit here, under the slow mo highlight) but I liked the outfit better without it for the photos! Speaking of my outfit, I was wearing a knitted tie front dress by Topshop in Black, which is actually really affordable as it was only £25 (I also own it in cream) and I paired it with my Topshop Snake Boots too! These are a faux snake printed leather, and actually incredibly comfortable. I’m really into the Western cowboy boot look at the moment, literally in love with it. These boots are currently on sale too with 20% off, so take advantage of that! I finished this look off with my Brixton Hat, to add to the Western vibe a bit more. I went without a bag for the outfit as the one I ordered (this one) hadn’t arrived yet, but I’m planning on wearing these boots again…

Western Rock Inspired

A Western Rock Inspired Outfit Happy Monday! First of all, I wanted to say thank you to you for the love and support on my last collaboration with Lily Arkwright as I was really proud of that one, and to know you guys loved it too, that means a lot! This weekend has been quite interesting with some shoots that Adam and I got done, for both of us, which I am excited to share with you soon! I just can’t wait for the leaves to turn orange and the parks to be in full glow, it’s going to be the perfect backdrop for photos! Speaking of that, we headed to Bristol to shoot these photos a couple of weeks ago when it was a bit warmer than it currently is now. We took them down by the River Avon which is just outside the Temple Meads train station as they had some beautiful red brick and scenery. It’s a totally different atmosphere to doing photos here in Bath as the location is such a contrast to the yellow Bath stone. We definitely plan to do more shoots in Bristol going forward actually! Anyway, for my outfit here, I was wearing a Cupcakes & Cashmere floral printed cami top, which I love as it’s such a dark design – perfect for Autumn, and I paired it with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite again. I know, I pretty much do live in these jeans, but I did just get a new pair in grey! I wrapped my B-Low The Belt belt around the middle to give it a little…

A Leopard At The Beach

This post rounds out the last of my Lyme Regis holiday photos! I didn’t realise that I had taken so many while we were there, despite the weather, but these pictures were shot on the last day, just before we came home. As you know, the sun had finally come out that day and caused us pretty bad sun burn, but it made a beautiful backdrop for the sea behind. I will say that some areas of Lyme Regis are truly stunning, you can’t beat it for nature at one of its best there! For my outfit, I had on my H&M Leopard Playsuit (can you believe it only costs £10 in the sale now?!) and I wore it with my ASOS Jelly Sandals (so that I could go in the sea), my Loeffler Randall Basket Bag, and my Ray-Ban Youngster Sunglasses, finished off with some jewellery like my Mango Shell Necklace. I am a huge fan of playsuits in the summer as you know, as they’re so easy to wear and are very comfortable. Anyway, I hope you like this outfit and the scenery! Let me know! Orange & Beige Tones

This weather is crazy isn’t it? We had to cancel our holiday to St. Ives this week as we were meant to leave yesterday, however the rain is set for over a week to be torrential and cause problems. We thought it was better to postpone it until October, which I hope will be fine! It’s currently dry right now, but the rain is on and off and after tomorrow it’s going to be intense I think as they issued an amber flood warning. Hopefully everyone will be fine! Getting to this look though, I’m not doing it as an official outfit post with options to buy as it was shot a few months ago in Bristol, and I hadn’t got around to sharing it with you yet, so these pieces are pretty much out of stock. The top and shorts were by Pretty Little Thing, the shoes were Kurt Geiger from years ago, and my bag is my Valentino Lock Bag in Ivory. It was just something I’d put together as a summery going out look, and I thought I better eventually share it with you now as today marks the very first day of Autumn (officially), so it made sense! Anyway, my next blog post coming up is an update, and I have a LOT of things to share with you, now that I’m finally back on track with everything in my life and blogging again, I’ve managed to find that balance back and get my inspiration again. It could be to do with the fact that it’s Autumn now and that’s my favourite season that gives me…

In Chloe On A Lock

We shot these photos a few weeks ago when we were still having a heat wave, it was around 28C this day, and it was actually really nice to do some proper summertime photos, utilising the scenery a bit more as well. If you’re wondering what I’m sat on here, it’s a Lock on the River Avon. I’ve always been fascinated by those and how they work, I think it’s such a smart, simple and cool idea, ha ha. Anyway, for my outfit, I was wearing my The East Order Black Floral Dress again (you saw it here), but this time I dressed it up a bit more with a Western edge, choosing my Chloe Susanna Boots in Beige Suede and my Chloe Small Drew Bag in Motty Grey to finish it off. Despite not having worn these boots in my outfits on my blog very much, I absolutely adore them, and the velvet version, so you will be seeing them a lot more I think, providing the weather is ok and not raining. Can you even imagine the damage in the rain? Especially to my beautiful velvet pair! Anyway, I would love to know what you think of this look on me, your comments are always welcome!
