From Day Time To Night Time – 4 Different Looks

I finally did a day of shooting again! It felt so good to get back to some normality after not having done any modelling for a few months now due to the lock down. It was nice to get out and actually choose outfits to wear, and plan the content. Finally, I feel like things are picking back up and giving me hope! For this blog post, I wanted to showcase 4 different outfits for different occasions. I’ve gone for a lock down look with loungewear, two casual daytime outfit with t-shirts and jeans, and then a going out look with a gorgeous red dress. It feels good dressing up again! As I’m sure you can imagine! Anyway, I will tell you more about each outfit below each photo! I hope you like them! Daytime Casual These two looks above are pretty much identical, but I swapped out the t shirts to show you a black and white version. This Paradise tee from Femme Luxe is pretty cool, I love how elegant it is and the font of the text just makes it feminine. I decided to pair it with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite (which you know I live in) and then threw on my Superga Mule Sneakers. Now these shoes I was pretty disappointed with as they gave me blisters! For my accessories though, which I think is key to pulling a t-shirt and jeans look together, I wore my Louis Vuitton LV Belt and matched it to my Louis Vuitton Mini Palm Springs Backpack! I got this bag a couple of months ago after falling…

My 20 Favourite Summer Outfits

I thought it might be fun to take a look back and select some of my favourite Summer outfits over the years that I have been blogging. Because I was choosing 20, I’ve gone from 2012 until 2019. The months selected were June, July and August, and obviously I haven’t chosen any from this year because of the Covid situation and not having any proper Summer outfits yet. When I do ‘look back’ posts like this, I am always eager to see how much my style has changed over the years, as well as how much I have changed as a person, both mentally and physically. I’m sure you can see that my weight goes up and down by a few pounds all the time, but one thing that stands out to me now is how refined my style has become. You could definitely say it’s matured, even when I’m wearing bolder prints and colours, there’s still a mature aspect to it that I didn’t have a few years ago when my outfits appeared more youthful and fun. I’m intrigued to see which type of looks you liked the most? Lorna xx.

Stuart Weitzman Lowland Boots Outfit

Stuart Weitzman Lowland Boots With A Grey Coat Back in early January, when it was pretty cold, we shot these photos around by the Bath Spa in town and I really liked how they came out. They had more of a darker, arty vibe to them, but it was a struggle posing for too long as I remember my hands being absolutely freezing! This was an outfit that I had kind of put together on a whim, but when it comes to grey and black, you can’t really go wrong pairing various shades like that together. I was wearing my REISS Scarlet Teddy Coat that I absolutely adore and wear constantly in the wintertime, because it’s so roomy and perfect for layering, but also really smart and classy. I layered it over a simple grey Topshop knit, and tucked that into my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Grey. I finished it off with my Stuart Weitzman Lowland Boots in Black, that I got last year, and added in my Saint Laurent Nano Sac de Jour Bag in Grey. As much as I love the design of Stuart Weitzman boots, I find them pretty uncomfortable. Does anyone else? The stiff back of the heel tends to rub against my heel and cause some discomfort, and that disappoints me given the price of them, but I put up with it because they’re so pretty! Anyway, this outfit is more of a casual take on one that I wore previously (see it here). Instead of flat boots, I opted for heeled ones and a Chanel bag, so please do let me know which…

A Burgundy Leather Jacket Outfit

A Burgundy Leather Allsaints Jacket Outfit Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you’re all doing well! I know lots of things are going back to normal now in the UK and that’s exciting! I hope they continue because it’s been really stressful for all of us. Adam and I shot these photos earlier on in the year actually, and again, I hadn’t got around to posting them, but I’m glad that I have quite a few outfits left over to share with you at the moment. I’m planning on shooting new ones in a couple of weeks time, so that’s exciting! I haven’t done an outfit shoot since March! Wow, how time flies! Anyway, for this look, I was wearing an Allsaints Dalby Leather Jacket in Dark Raspberry Pink (buy it on Revolve Clothing by clicking here), which I got in the sale earlier this year for around 60% off! I took a size UK 8 in this one, if you were wondering! I’d always wanted a burgundy leather jacket and finally found one that was perfect! I paired it with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Grey, my Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 in Black, a simple Black Long Sleeve Top from GAP, and my Mulberry Lily Bag in Oxblood. There’s something about a burgundy, black, and grey combination that I love. These shades just complement each other really well. Are you a fan? Again, as these photos were shot a few months back, I was a bit more curvier here than I am now as I’ve still lost all of the weight that I gained a while ago. I think…

Outside Celine On Mount Street

Back in October of 2019, you may remember that Adam and I took a trip to London and stayed in Mayfair for a couple of days, to take some photos and do some shopping. These pics were some that I really liked, outside the Celine store and in front of that McLaren car, but I hadn’t yet shared them to my fashion blog. I finally finished editing them the other day, so here they are! These were taken on the last day of London, before we were due to come home, and after I had purchased my Celine Nano Luggage in Glazed Nut! I still adore that bag! For this outfit, I was wearing a simple look of a Topman Brown Sweater, which I styled with my L’AGENCE Margot Jeans in Graphite, and a pair of Topshop Western Boots. For my accessories, I finished it off with my Mulberry Small Darley in Oak, my Louis Vuitton LV Belt, and a simple gold coin necklace. I wanted to keep everything in the brown and neutral colour palette, which I did, and I quite like how it turned out. I also borrowed Adam’s Ray-Ban sunglasses for some of these pics! Anyway, I hope you like the outfit and the photos! Let me know as always. Lorna xx. *This post contains affiliate links to help keep this blog running.

Pink Top & Black Jeans

These photos were taken around August last year, on a blistering hot day and I actually ended up regretting wearing jeans, ha ha. I hadn’t gotten around to sharing the pictures yet as I had other ones to edit, then Autumn took over and these got left behind, however with the Covid issue, this has actually worked out better as I have a Summer look to share with you! My outfit was a Pink Knitted Mango Tank Top, which I styled with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite (I do still live in these!), my B-Low The Belt, my Alexander McQueen Oversized Sneakers, and my Saint Laurent White Sunglasses, finished off with a Mango Shell Necklace. I wasn’t completely sure if I loved the outfit when I put it together because of the sunglasses, but I went with it. Sometimes it’s all about experimentation and seeing what you can come up with, ha ha. On a separate note, I’m planning on taking my very first flight next month in July! I’m not sure which country I’m going to yet, it depends on the air bridges and what’s open, but I’m thinking Spain or France, so I can test a flight before flying to the United States this year. I’m finally doing what I wanted to do and hoping it goes well! How are you all doing? Our hairdressers and restaurants etc. open up on the 4th July and I cannot wait either! I need my hair cut! A Look Back At My Favourite Outfits Of 2010

As per a reader’s recommendation (Frank) I am doing a blog post that looks back at some of my all time favourite outfits from the year that I started my blog back in 2010! Narrowing this down to just 18 images was incredibly hard, but I didn’t want to make the blog post too long! Raindrops of Sapphire turned 10 on March 10th this year, so it’s absolutely crazy to look back and realise that these photos are 9-10 years old, as it feels like only a few years ago that I started this journey. One thing that I have noticed is that my personal style has changed a huge amount over the years, as you can see from these photos here, however one thing that remains a constant is my love of jeans. I still live in them and probably always will, ha ha. I tend to prefer the more muted pieces now, when it comes to bags and shoes, and I wear a lot less colour, but I think I’ve really developed my own personal style now and I enjoy having more of a curated selection of pieces that I wear more often. Anyway, take a look at the photos below and let me know if you remember any of them and which are your favourites! Lorna xx. This was the vest first proper photoshoot that I did for my blog, I remember taking a few different outfits to the Botanical Gardens and shooting about 4 of them. This was my favourite! A pair of 7 For All Mankind Gummy Denim Leggings were the ones that I wore…

Styling 2 Different Leather Skirts

Happy June! I’m pleased to announce that things in the UK are finally going back to normal, the shops re-opened today and restaurants are beginning to make plans, which is amazing. I can’t wait for everything to go back to normal. How are you all feeling about the lock down being lifted and life getting back on track? I’m hoping that I will be able to see Adam again soon so that we can do some photoshoots together, as we still work together, and I will finally have some new content for you! These pictures were shot in a hotel room back in February or March, before the lock down happened, so I only have a few sets left to last me, which is why I haven’t had much content available. The first outfit was a Mango Cream Shirt with a Topshop Burgundy Leather Skirt, and the second one was a Mango Brown Shirt with an ASOS Black Leather Skirt. Both worn with a Mango Bralette in Leopard underneath to add a little something extra. I would say that both of these outfits are suitable for nighttime wear. You might notice that I was a lot curvier in these pictures too, and that’s because I had gained quite a bit of weight, but I’ve lost it all now and am pretty much back to my starting weight, so I can finally fit back into most of my clothes! I’m planning to put together more content that isn’t outfit based as well, because I need to keep updating you guys, but without having been able to do photoshoots, I couldn’t upload…
