I thought it might be fun to share with you my watch collection! Over the past couple of years I went from being a girl who never ever wore watches, to gaining a collection of 12! I didn’t even realise I had this many watches until I started putting this post together though. Of course, I still have plenty of watches on my wish list, some of them too expensive so I will never been able to own them, but others are more attainable. The Watch Gallery has been responsible for a lot of my expensive taste in watches, ha ha! They have some beautiful watches which I love and have included at the bottom of this post as a gift guide or wish list! Anyway, I’m going to start from the beginning and explain a little bit about each of my watches, so here we go!
The watch above was one of my very first ones that I purchased about 3 years ago from ASOS. It was really cheap and I loved the metallic rainbow strap that it had on it with a gold face. I bought it specifically so I could wear it with my colourful bracelets and it definitely became one that I wore quite often! Isn’t it pretty? I love how the colours transition into each other!
Next up was when I purchased my first expensive designer watch and it was my Marc by Marc Jacobs Blade Chrono Watch in Rose Gold. I had to get some links removed from it because it was too big, like most bracelet watches, but it’s probably been the watch that I have worn the most! I absolutely adore it and wear it constantly when it’s summer! The colour is just beautiful and the watch itself is really well made and quite weighty. You can buy it online here.
After that, I got gifted this gorgeous Daniel Wellington watch in tan leather and rose gold. I hadn’t heard of the brand until then, so it was amazing to get such a lovely watch! This was when I did my really popular contest to give one away too! I’ve worn this watch so many times and I even took it to Italy with me! It has served me well! Buy it online here.
I then went on to purchase another similar watch to my Daniel Wellington, but again it was one from ASOS, so it was a lot cheaper. I was drawn to it originally because I loved the mustache on the front of it and how classy it looked while remaining fun! I’ve only worn this one a couple of times actually, but it’s still really cool!
As I had loved my rose gold Marc by Marc Jacobs watch so much, for my birthday present my boyfriend got me this gorgeous Marc by Marc Jacobs Henry Skeleton watch in neon pink and rose gold! It’s absolutely stunning and I’m really glad that I chose it as a gift. I didn’t need any links removed this time as it’s a buckle strap, so that was a bonus. I’ve worn this watch so many times! It’s perfect with all my colourful bracelets! Buy a similar one here.
Next up is another Daniel Wellington watch. I had been in love with this gorgeous canvas purple and blue strap watch of theirs with a gold face ever since I found out about the brand. I was lucky enough that they wanted to work with me again on another giveaway, so I got to have this beautiful watch and I was ecstatic! It’s one of the best watches that I have ever had and I love it so much! It’s really lightweight too! Buy it online here.
I realised by this point that I had watches that were all various shades of gold and absolutely no silver! This was when I decided that I needed a silver watch and owning a Michael Kors watch had been a dream of mine. I saved up and purchased this beautiful Slim Runway watch of his in silver and have also worn this one numerous times! It definitely filled that void I had of needing a silver watch! It’s so sleek and elegant too. Buy it online here.
Shortly after I got my Michael Kors watch, I got asked by STORM London to be a part of their fashion bloggers campaign which involved styling a watch of theirs for their website. I chose this beautiful silver watch with a iridescent face as it turns pink, blue and green in various lights. It’s simply beautiful and I’m really glad that I got to be a part of the campaign with them!
I had been eying up this beautiful little Disney Mickey Mouse watch on ASOS for quite a few months and finally bit the bullet and bought it when they had a sale. It’s adorable isn’t it? It features a red leather strap, a gold face and Mickey’s arms move as the hands of the watch itself! It’s really pretty and quirky! I’ve not worn it very often actually, so I might need to change that! It also came in the most prettiest packaging!
Next up is this watch by Caravelle. It’s rose gold and was given to me as a gift from Shade Station to be a part of their campaign for styling watches too. They removed a couple of the links for me and since I like having my watches looser, I was quite happy with how this one fitted me. The face is really detailed and the rose gold is gorgeous! I’ve only worn this watch once so far, but I am definitely planning on wearing it more soon!
I got to work with Shade Station again with this cute little Marc by Marc Jacobs Critters watch too! I had loved the Critter series for ages after seeing them online and in store, so getting to choose one to wear was wonderful. I originally loved the pink and gold one, but I decided to go with black as it was more practical and I already had a pink watch. It’s a little doggy for the face and it also has ears attached to the dial!
And finally, one of my most recent watches that I got, my Olivia Burton butterfly woodland watch in gold! I got this last month as an anniversary gift from my boyfriend (6 years). I did choose it and had wanted it for a while, so I’m really happy that he bought it for me! I wore this everyday while I was in London for our break away and have worn it numerous times back home too! It’s so pretty and elegant, I can never stop staring at it when I wear it! I didn’t even need any links taken out and it’s so light! Buy a similar one here.
This is my current wish list for watches! Frederique Constance, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Olivia Burton and Seiko! Aren’t they all beautiful? I’m obsessing over Frederique Constance at the moment though! Those watches are magical!
I had to include this close up as well of this amazing Frederique Constance watch. I think these are absolutely stunning and if I had the money, I would definitely purchase one! Isn’t it amazing?
