New Clothes Purchases

I said I would share my new purchases with you, so here is the post. I decided to take my photos outside this time because it was just too dull inside, I think I might start doing this often actually as the lighting is so much better! These are purchases that I got in the sale and a few things here and there throughout December as well.

Above is my new Zara quilted faux leather jacket in black, from their TRF collection, so it wasn’t as expensive as it could have been if it was from the regular collection. I absolutely love this jacket! I’m a big fan of the leather look jackets and this one is cut so nicely that it’s really flattering. It curves around the spine and waist so it gives a nice silhouette. You did see this jacket in yesterday’s outfit post here.

I got this burgundy body warmer/gilet in the sale from Topshop, it was reduced by over 50% so it was a great bargain! I absolutely love these types of jackets because they are so warm and insulated, yet you can still wear your jumpers underneath without looking bulky! I love the colour of this one and it also has a grey hood which is cute! Buy it here.

I purchased this dip dye ombre denim shirt from Forever 21 when I was in Birmingham back in December. It was a great price (as Forever 21 always is) and I fell in love with it. Those of you who know my style will know I am absolutely obsessed with dip dye and this shirt really stood out to me! I will have an outfit post wearing it soon. Buy it here.

This is another Forever 21 purchase, a burgundy faux leather vest that I got in Birmingham as well. It’s great because it’s easily layered over jackets for the colour block effect (like in my outfit here) or just over some neutral jumpers. The colour is pretty and for the price, I think it was a good purchase. Buy it here.

These are my new jeans that I purchased on Shopbop, the AG Adriano Goldschmied The Leggings jeans in 12 Years Dwight. I was wondering about purchasing these for a week or so as I wasn’t sure on the wash in person or the sizing, but they are absolutely amazing and I am so glad that I bought them! They are my new favourites and I have worn them so much already. You can read my review on these jeans here and you can purchase them on Shopbop here.

I had been eying this floral blazer from Topshop since the summer as I thought it was really cool and I loved the retro 70’s vibe that it had to it, however I didn’t want to pay full price for it so I acquired it in the sale really recently for over 50% off and I love it! It’s definitely a bold and statement making piece, but I think it brightens up my look! I will have an outfit post featuring this jacket soon!

I got this long sleeved faux leather front top from the Zara sale really recently too. I saw it online a few months ago but never purchased it as I was hoping it might pop into the sale soon, and it did! It’s really pretty and I love the faux leather on the front, it’s quite unique! Again, it will be featured in an outfit post soon!

I was in need of a navy blazer as I haven’t ever owned one. I think they are really versatile and slightly better than black in some ways as they are not too harsh. They go with jeans so well and I wanted one to pair with a lighter blue denim shirt, which I did for an outfit recently and I will be showing that very soon! This is the same type of blazer as my pink and  yellow ones, the jersey type with cool lining on the sleeves, from Zara.

I bought this dip dye and studded shoulder jumper from Forever 21 with the other purchases as I thought it was really ‘me’ for casual wear. I like comfortable and statement making pieces like this and I know I will get a lot of wear out of it. It’s sort of similar to the pale purple studded one I have from Topshop, but obviously this one is blue.

And my final piece is a colour block faux leather jacket from Forever 21 as well. As soon as I saw this I fell in love with it. As you know I love colour blocking and when I saw my three favourite neutral shades together (brown, cream and black) I instantly wanted to try it on. I wasn’t sure how it would fit me as I haven’t tried jackets from Forever 21 before, but it turned out great and I can’t wait to wear it soon. Buy it here. So which do you like the most?
