Custom Levi’s Shorts & Yellow Fields

My boyfriend and I were on our way to my grans and to get lunch today and we saw the most amazing yellow fields. Since I live in the countryside, I am used to seeing the rape seed all around but there are so many fields this year just covered in yellow. We thought they would make great photos.

Since I love designing and doing DIY on my clothes, I actually made these shorts myself. They were a plain pair of high rise Levi’s jeggings which I cut off into shorts and then used a cheese grater to make the distressing. I did them a couple of weeks ago and since it’s been hot out, I finally got to wear them!

I’m wearing my custom Levi’s shorts, an Urban Outfitters Truly Madly Deeply Dove tee, my River Island boots, a Topshop snail ring and an ASOS blue satchel and butterfly necklace.

Did you all have a nice Easter? I don’t really eat chocolate that often so I only got a little Hotel Chocolat bar, but it was delicious! Don’t forget to enter my Marc Jacobs giveaway with FarFetch by clicking here. You can also read more about how I made these shorts here.

Aren’t the fields just gorgeous? I love the yellow!

  1. Thanks Sarah :D I’m quite pleased with how they turned out!

Thanks Alexandra, nobody has actually really commented on my hair colour before, thank you! It’s natural, I never dye it, it changes colour a lot in the summer :)
