Looks Like Leather, Feels Like Leather

I got these MET Eco Pelle faux leather jeans in the mail last week from MET Jeans and I am absolutely in love with them! I fell for them when I posted Elle MacPherson wearing them quite a few times on DenimBlog. I’ve always loved the look of real leather pants but I just can’t bring myself to wear them, so these faux leather ones were the perfect option for me! They are also a lot more breathable than real leather and they don’t smell at all.

I’m wearing my MET Becky Eco Pelle faux leather skinny jeans, my MET sequin tank top, my Topshop acid wash boyfriend blazer, my Miss Selfridge leopard print scarf, my Topshop Asher wedge boots, my Topshop purple chain handle box bag and my new Azendi pink Carousel ring.

I’ve been really good lately and only bought a few items from the sales. This boyfriend blazer, 2 sets of pyjamas, a ring and a necklace. I’m trying not to buy too many clothes because I’m still doing a closet clean out. I’m still in the process of listing more items on eBay and I have quite a few new items listed already, including these Asher boots. You can check out my eBay store here.

I will be holding another contest this week as well! It’s going to be great to kick start the new year with this one! I can’t wait to share it with you. How are you all anyway? Have you got any resolutions and goals for 2011?

As I knew it would, this takes the cake!! Those are simply the most fantastic “jeans” pants I’ve seen! Ever since elle was posted wearing them, I was hoping they land in your mailbox! I’m in love with this outfit! The leopard print scarf blends well with the grays and the black leather pants. Most of all, the purple bag is a great color breaker! Love your taste! <3

These are really pretty pants! I do agree with you on the smell of leather, it’s just kind of gross. And it would probably be overpowering on pants.

your boots and your scarf make me want to jump for joy! Hey, Lorna, I have a question. I know you say the jeans a breathable, would you say they are as breathable as regular non treated denim?

Hi Lauren! Thank you I wouldn’t say they are as breathable as some jeans I have, compared to the thinner denim with cotton and elastane they are definitely not that breathable but they feel about as airy as a rigid 100% cotton pair. They are 75% cotton and 25% polyurethane but they do feel so much like leather with extra stretch
