Blazers & Over The Knee Boots

So these are the boots I have been very excited to share with you! I bought them last week and I was so excited because I finally found boots that fit me! They come in a range of different calf sizes and I have very small calves (only 33cm) but quite big feet (UK size 6/7) so you can imagine my happiness when I found a pair that actually fit me! Boots have always just been too big in the calves for me. I’m going to be doing a proper post on the DUO Boots brand later this week because I think a lot of you will find the brand great!

I’m wearing a new Topshop boyfriend blazer, an old vintage Topshop silk top I found in my closet from years ago, my Citizens of Humanity jeggings which I also found in my closet, my new DUO over the knee boots, my vintage Topshop metallic pink clutch, Miss Selfridge rings, a Topshop silver Bambi and flowers necklace and my Adele Marie swarovski bangle.

I can definitely tell that it’s Fall/Autumn now as it’s been really cold and it’s getting darker a lot earlier. It kind of excites me! I need to do some coat shopping as I don’t have a new one that I can wear. I’m on the lookout for a pretty cream coloured one with lots of buttons.

  4. Those boots really are lovely, and they look really comfortable. I love that they don’t have a heel, but avoid looking too like riding boots, even when worn with jeans. I guess that’s the advantage of them being just over the knee.

Given that the calves are narrower I imagine they fit pretty snugly, but do they need less time to be broken in, and do the buckles press against your knees?

  5. Thank you Ali :)

Keira, Yeah, I don’t think they give the impression of a riding boot either, especially since they are suede too, it kind of deters that look away. To be honest, I can’t even feel the buckles, they are on the outside of the boot so I don’t even notice they are there at all. Like most boots, they do need time to be broken in but I’m finding them pretty comfy already and I have only worn them twice. I have heard they do stretch out a bit though but that’s normal :)
