A Bit Of Christmas Sparkle In A Dress

(Dress – Exact ON SALE, Blazer – Similar, Shoes – Similar, Necklace – Exact, Ring – Exact) This dress is amazing isn’t it? The intricate detailing, the sequins, the design, the ombre, it’s just stunning in person and since I’m attracted to anything sparkly, much like a magpie, I was instantly drawn to this dress the moment I saw it in the Autumn/Winter 2013 collection! It’s by Needle & Thread and I think it’s perfect for the holiday seasons! It will look great for any Christmas or New Years Eve parties! I was absolutely freezing when we took these photos, but I wanted to share with you the outfit I plan on wearing for Christmas. I decided to dress it up with a black blazer from Zara and black heels from Topshop, to make it a bit more conservative and obviously give me a bit of warmth. I’m not overly fond of wearing such minimal dresses without some type of cover on top, so that’s why I decided to have such a strong blazer, to give everything some structure. For my accessories, I wore my Baccarat crystal necklace, my Butler & Wilson double finger eye ring and my ASOS pink crystal ring. For those of you who are interested in the size of the dress, I took it in a size 10 as I didn’t want it to cling. I’m between an 8/10, so if you don’t want it really clingy, I recommend going with your normal size or your bigger size, depending on how you fit clothes! It’s also in the sale at ASOS, so make sure you snap…

Wearing The Amber Crown Jewels

(Coat – Similar, Jeans – Similar, Scarf – Similar, Bag – Similar, Boots – Exact) I wore this outfit yesterday when I went to town with my boyfriend. I hadn’t seen him for two weeks so it was nice to spend so much time together this weekend! We ate at my favourite Italian restaurant and did a little bit of Christmas shopping! I will be posting Christmas Market and decoration photos soon too! I’m wearing my Paige Verdugo Jeans in Amber Crown Jewels Print in these photos. They are so pretty! I won them for a great price as you know, but the print is gorgeous! I paired them with my Zara Black Coat with Faux Leather details that I got in the summer sale earlier this year and my KG by Kurt Geiger Winona Boots. This is the first time I’ve worn this coat and it’s actually really warm. I generally don’t like black coats as it’s a lot of black for me to wear, but I think brightening it up with these colours worked quite well. I added my Topshop Aubergine Cable Knit Pom Pom Scarf to give some burgundy tones to the outfit and my Mulberry Mini Taylor in Sycamore to go with the jeans. I prefer wearing jewel tone and bright colours when it’s a grey and rainy day! It helps brighten up my mood! I just finished watching I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here. Have you been following it? I thought Joey and Kian would have been in the final, but I loved David in it too! I thought Kian would win though,…

Autumnal Oranges

(Jeans – Exact, Blazer – Similar, Scarf – Similar, Bag – Similar, Shoes – Similar) An outfit without a hint of burgundy? I’m sure you might be thinking I’m an imposter, ha ha, but I can leave the house without burgundy… sometimes! I got this Topshop Orange Plaid Scarf a little while ago and it inspired me to create an outfit around it, mainly with oranges as I was feeling very Autumnal. The scarf matched well with my Topshop Sakura Orange Heels and my pretty Cambridge 11″ Satchel in Honeysuckle too. These three pieces are different shades of orange, but I think that helped to make the outfit a bit more textured. For the base, I wanted a lighter wash jean so I wore my Ida by Donna Ida Skinny Jeans in Ice and my Zara White Jersey Blazer. Just from the blazer and the jeans alone, I got a Wintery theme, so adding the oranges really made it that little bit more warmer. For those of you interested in my jewellery as well, I’m wearing three different rings from Topshop. I have my Blue Beetle and two different Orange Fish rings. I love the contrast of the Blue Beetle with the orange, it’s really pretty. For my make up, I went for a purple eyeshadow and a pinky/coral lip. I was hoping the leaves on the trees would be a little more yellow/orange by now, but they still seem to be a bit green, ha ha. On a different note, I’m working on a big Thanksgiving/Black Friday sales post to publish next. I can’t wait for some of the…

New Autumn Purchases – Part 1

Over the past few months I have been buying a lot of new things for Autumn and Winter. I have picked up quite a few things in sale at places, as well as on eBay and with discount codes, so that always makes me feel better about getting new clothes and accessories. I do have quite a few pieces, which is why I am splitting this post in two. Above is my beloved Topshop red heart polka dot style shirt. I had been in love with this shirt for ages, but it had sold out completely online and I couldn’t find it anywhere else. It was pure luck that I found it in the Selfridges Topshop department on Wednesday when I was in London, so I snapped it up before I could even think about it. I was so excited to finally find it! It’s so pretty, it reminds me a lot of the deeper burgundy shirt with bigger hearts from the Burberry collection, but I find this one is a little more girly. It’s since come back in stock online and you can purchase it here if you love it too. It’s a very popular shirt! These gorgeous Paige Crown Jewels jeans are what I picked up on eBay for only £30! They are brand new with tags and my size, so I couldn’t believe what a bargain I had found. I originally saw these jeans at the press day earlier this year and thought the print was really interesting and cool. I think they will definitely make a statement!

Another Burgundy Sensation

(Coat – Similar, Jeans – Exact, Jumper – Similar, Boots – Exact, Bag – Exact) I wore this outfit on Saturday when my boyfriend and I went to the theatre to watch a musical. We watched Save The Last Dance For Me, which was a war time musical set in the 40’s with all of the older songs. It was really good and I loved it! We went to eat in Pizza Express afterwards, which was only a couple of doors away, so it was definitely a really nice evening. Something different, which I think is always a good thing. I’ve had my hair cut, but I didn’t go for anything too much. I just had my fringe put back in and a bit of length and weight taken off. I was too scared to do anything else! For those of you wondering who my hairdresser is, her names Laura Wilkins and she works at North Hairdressers. I’ve been going to her since I was about 15 and I just don’t feel like anyone else can cut my hair as good as she can. If you are in the Bath area, I recommend you check her out! Anyway, now onto the outfit. I wore my Zara Burgundy Jacket which I purchased from Zara a couple of months ago. It’s no longer available since Zara products sell out like hot cakes, but this is the first time I have worn it. It just wasn’t cold enough before to put it on. I paired it with my new Urban Outfitters Jumper with crystal embellishment on the front. I got this in the…

Be The Best Version Of You

(Jeans – Similar, Blazer – Similar, Shoes – Similar, T-Shirt – Exact, Bracelets – Exact) I wore this outfit earlier today as I’m going to be reviewing the jeans this week as well as giving away this gorgeous t-shirt! I felt like wearing something a bit more colourful and bright, to match the Autumn leaves, which is why I paired these A.N.D Skinny Jeans with my Zara Burgundy Blazer. You all know I love burgundy and I love pairing it with dark blue as much as I do with black. I think it really brings out the colour of the jeans and t-shirt. This beautiful tee is from Etrala and it’s part of their Positee collection which inspires people to be positive with happy slogans on the front of their t-shirts. This one is entitled ‘Be The Best Version Of You’ and I think it’s such a great saying! I will explain more about this during the week though when I start the giveaway, so stay tuned for it! To make things a little more casual, I cuffed the sleeves of my blazer to show the polka dot lining as I think it looks better that way, it looked too smart with the sleeves at full length. I originally tried this outfit with my metallic toe cap heels, but I didn’t like the silver with the look, so I switched them out for these Topshop Glam Black Suede Heels instead. I think they look much better with the rest of the outfit. Now to my jewellery, I got these pretty little friendship bracelets from the lovely Lucky Eyes London. They…

The Grey Zara Coat With Blue Skinny Jeans

(Jeans – Exact, Jacket – Similar, Boots – Exact, Ring – Similar) This is an outfit that I put together a few days go as I thought it was about time I wore something without burgundy in it. I’ve been wearing burgundy all the time as it’s my favourite, but it makes me realise that I haven’t been wearing enough of my other coloured clothes. I decided to wear my lovely new AG Adriano Goldschmied The Legging Jeans in 18 Years Stone as I think the wash is gorgeous! It’s a lot lighter than my other AG Jeans and it suits a lot of my clothes, especially the grey ones! Unlike my other AG Jeans in The Legging fit though, these run a bit smaller unfortunately so they are quite tight on me. I would recommend getting the bigger size if you are between sizes! I paired these jeans with my Zara Grey and Black Coat with a Fleece Collar as I thought it matched the jeans perfectly. The coat isn’t too heavy either as it’s lightweight, so it’s great for this time of year, just to keep the chill out. I think the furry collar really adds some dimension to this coat as it makes it stand out. To finish things off, I kept to the grey theme and wore my KG by Kurt Geiger Winona Boots in Grey. These are exactly the same as my beloved black Winona boots, but in the grey version. This is actually the first time you have seen me wearing them in an outfit and they really have become a staple of mine…

Wearing Wellingtons For The Rain

(Jeans – Similar, Cardigan – Exact, Scarf – Similar, Wellies – Exact, Ring – Exact) You all probably know by now that I’m not really a spur of the moment type of girl, I’m one that always likes to be prepared for things, one of those things is often the weather. Being British, we are known for constantly having endless amounts of rain and the forecast lately has been just that. It’s been pouring down every single day. I wore this outfit on Saturday when I went out for a quick lunch with my boyfriend. I needed some fresh air to help clear my congestion, but I knew it was going to rain which is why I wore my Hunter Wellies in Navy Gloss again and actually took an umbrella. My boyfriend thought I was crazy for wearing them and told me to leave the umbrella in the car, but since I like to be prepared, I didn’t. It’s a good job I took them though because a little while after we took these photos it literally bucketed down and one umbrella wasn’t enough, ha ha. I wore my Diesel Fayza Boyfriend Jeans in 0800U with my Hunter Wellies (similar here) as I just wanted something incredibly comfortable and soft. These are the jeans that I bought at the Diesel outlet last month. They were such a great investment as I have worn them so much. The wash is gorgeous and the comfort is incredible! They are so casual! I chose a classic H&M tank top in white as a base to go with them, but then wore my new…
