Valentine’s Day In Burgundy Monochrome

(Jeans – Similar & Exact, Blazer – Similar, Shirts – Similar, Shoes – Similar, Bag – Similar) Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you for tomorrow! This isn’t the outfit I’m wearing for it, but it’s one that I put together as I was inspired by the love red colour scheme. It’s a monochrome burgundy look! I’ve mixed different textures, prints and colours though so it doesn’t look too much like a suit and the pieces stay as individuals. The reason I’m posting this today instead of tomorrow though is because I’m spending actual Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend and making a day of it, I’m very excited! What are your plans? I was wearing my older J Brand Skinny Jeans in Velvet Lava with my Topshop Red Heart Print Shirt. I think these two work together quite well as the combination of velvet with a light printed shirt looks quite good. I wore my Zara Burgundy Blazer over the top for warmth though. I was deciding on the black blazer that I have, but it just didn’t look right. I did choose my Topshop Black Heels though as I thought having burgundy shoes would make it too much, ha ha. For my accessories, I chose my Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAB in Port and some loose gold bangles and then finished off with a cherry red lip. What do you think of the outfit? Comment and let me know as always! I love reading what you have to say! You can also check out my last minute Valentine’s Day gift guide if you are stuck for ideas!

You Can Leave Your Bobble Hat On

(Jeans – Similar, Coat – Similar & Similar, Boots – Similar, Top – Similar, Cardigan – Similar, Bag – Exact, Hat – Similar) This is the outfit that I wore over the weekend when I had to run some errands and stuff in town. It was incredibly windy and not long after these few photos were taken it started to rain, which is why there aren’t that many shots of me this time round. It’s really hard to believe that throughout this whole winter, we haven’t really dropped into the minus temperatures which is almost unheard of for England. I’m not saying it’s been good though as the constant flooding and storm weather we have in its place is much worse, but the only upside is that I have been able to wear more of the clothes I wanted to without having to layer as much. I would rather have this weather finished with now though, I honestly can’t wait for spring! It can’t come soon enough for me! For my outfit, I wore my favourite Levi’s Black Skinny Jeans which I tucked into my Zara Ankle Boots. I then wore my Purple H&M Tee with my Topshop Yellow Knitted Cardigan layered over the top to just add a bit of vibrancy to everything. As it was freezing, I put my Zara Faux Leather Trim Black Coat over the top to keep me warm and then finished off with my Topshop Aubergine Bobble Hat. Finally, for my bag, I went with my lovely Balenciaga Mini City Baby Diam in Black Suede again. I did tell you that you would be…

Tan, Leopard And Blue Denim

(Jeans – Similar, Jacket – Similar, Scarf – Similar, Shoes – Similar, Bag – Exact) On Sunday, I set my boyfriend a challenge and that was to put an outfit together for me. He actually has a great fashion sense himself, we often go shopping together and I always ask if he likes certain things that I plan on buying etc, so I was confident that he would do a good job. I have to say, I definitely think he did with this outfit! I did give him a helping hand with the shoes and I did personally pick the scarf, but he chose the rest of the look. I wore my Zara Tan Faux Leather Jacket over a simple White Tee from H&M. For my jeans, I had on my Koral Los Angeles Skinny Jeans which I am a huge fan of! I love these! I wore my older Topshop Leopard Scarf around my neck and then added my Mulberry Lily Bag in Oak too! For my shoes, I had on my Topshop Gabbi Heels in Nude. I think the whole combination is really lovely and simple, but it looks quite put together. I’m finally thankful that the rain had stopped for the day on Sunday and it was really nice out. The sun was shining, despite it being really cold, but the sky was blue and the air was fresh, so it was a really welcome change. I just hope we get more weather like this now as the Spring approaches! Did you all have a nice weekend? And as usually, I would love to know what you…

Simply Monochrome

(Jeans – Exact ON SALE, Blazer – Similar, Tee – Exact, Clutch – Similar, Shoes – Similar, Watch – Exact, Necklace – Exact, Bracelet – Exact) I have always been a fan of the monochrome look when it’s in black, white and grey, but because of my addiction to colour, it’s something that I never usually wear. This year though I have made a promise to myself to try and do things that scare me and push my boundaries a bit, along with trying out combinations of clothes that I don’t usually entertain. For this outfit, I wore my new 7 For All Mankind Ankle Zip Skinny Jeans in Grey which I recently purchased on sale. I had been eying these for ages and I was so excited when I found them even cheaper! It was such an amazing deal! I took a size down in these jeans though, for those of you interested, as I heard they run really big, so you might want to take that into consideration when buying them yourself. They are absolutely amazing though! They have finally filled that void I had when it comes to grey jeans. These are the perfect shade, the perfect fit and are so comfortable! You will definitely be seeing these a lot more in up and coming outfit posts, that’s for sure! To keep things classic, I chose to pair the jeans with a lighter Grey Topshop Tee, then layer my Zara White Blazer over the top and add my KG by Kurt Geiger Eleanor Gold/Nude Heels to the mix. I didn’t want to wear any black heels here…

Neutral Shades Of Brown & Black

(Jeans – Similar, Jumper – Similar, Coat – Similar, Collar – Exact, Bag – Similar, Boots – Similar) I wore this outfit yesterday when I went to town and for a walk in the park with my boyfriend. We spent most of the time in the park actually, looking at the squirrels and enjoying the scenery. I wore a really similar outfit to the one I wore last year in February. I chose my Zara Cream Coat with a Faux Fur Collar added to it, which I layered over my Zara Knitted Brown Jumper. It wasn’t as warm as I hoped though so I did end up getting a little bit chilly in this! For jeans, I went with my classic Levi’s Black Skinny Jeans which I tucked into my Zara black pointed boots. I really love wearing these boots now. You may remember them from my outfit post last week with the burgundy coat and leopard scarf/bag, but I think they go with so many things! For my bag, I chose my Mulberry Mini Taylor in Deer Brown to tie in with the colour scheme. I haven’t worn this one in a while as I tend to keep it more for a Summer or Spring bag, but I thought I would brave it as I love it so much! I really like neutral combinations like this with black, brown and cream as I think it’s such a classic. It does make a big change for me not to actually be wearing any colour here though! Ha ha! On another note as well, I made a purchase yesterday on a…

Braving The Rain In Navy

(Jeans – Exact, Blazer – Exact, Wellies – Exact, Scarf – Exact) Firstly I’m going to start this post by saying please do excuse my hair here! As you know from me saying time and time again, it’s just so windy and rainy here all the time now, it’s sort of become difficult to take my photos not in the rain. So yeah, my hair is damp and frizzy from the wet and the wind, which is why it looks a complete state, ha ha. I did have my big parka coat on as well with the hood up and buttoned up to the top, to keep me warm and dry, but it didn’t look so good for the photos, which is why I took it off. I’m wearing my new Zara Navy Blue Blazer which I got in the sale a couple of weeks ago. It has the most amazing burgundy elbow patches which I think really make the jacket! It’s really traditional since it’s a wool blazer, but I feel like the colour combination of it just makes it current and modern. I paired the blazer with my Diesel Skinzee Skinny Jeans as I love pairing dark navy blue with lighter blue, to keep the colour theme, but give it a contrast. Of course I had to wear my trusty Hunter Original Tall Navy Gloss Wellies again as I pretty much can’t leave the house without them at the moment and then I threw on my new Zara Burgundy and Navy Scarf for warmth. I also picked this up in the sale for a great price and it’s…

The Princess Coat And The Leopard Print

(Coat – Similar, Leggings – Exact, Boots – Similar, Bag – Exact, Scarf – Similar) This was a really good day to shoot photos! As you know the weather has been near impossible for the past few weeks, so I was really thankful having a good day where the sun was shining for a couple of hours! You may remember this Topshop Burgundy Princess Coat as I’ve worn it a few times before on my blog. I’ve had it for a few years, but it’s still one of my favourite coats! It’s the kind of coat which always gets compliments when I’m out and about and they always want to know where I got it from. It’s always fitted well since the day I found it in Topshop and tried it on, it’s just so pretty! The shape of it is gorgeous as it has a belted waist and a flared skirt, so it’s very flattering. I paired the coat with my Denimocracy Anarchy Knit Leggings in Black Onyx as these are one of my go to leggings for winter. They are thicker and are actually a lot like jeans as they have a button and zip closure as well as back pockets, but are in actual fact leggings. I’ve worn these so often, they are definitely one of my favourites as well! Now onto the shoes and accessories. I had always loved the amazing Isabel Marant boots with buckles, but they are too expensive for me, so when I came across these black wedge boots in the sale on Zara, I snapped them up! They are close enough in…

Doubling Up On Camo Print

(Jeans – Exact, Jacket – Similar, Bag – Exact, Shoes – Similar, Scarf – Similar, Watch – Similar) This is the outfit I wore on the Sunday before Christmas. I was seeing my grandparents on my dads side first to give them their gifts and some photos and then stopping for lunch with my mums side of the family. My gran doesn’t live near me, so it’s always nice to be able to see her when she travels down and my other relatives that I don’t see often. Unfortunately my grampy is no longer with us as he passed away a couple of years ago, so Christmas isn’t really the same without him, but we try to make do. I am glad that there are certain times of the year when we get to spend a lot of time with everyone when we usually don’t. I always find that it’s important to be comfortable though as when I’m out for big family meals, they can often take hours, so I don’t like to be dressed up too much, especially not when it’s freezing! So that brings me to this outfit! I wore my AG Adriano Goldschmied The Legging Jeans in 16 Years Swap Meat with my Topshop Camo Jacket and Tan High Tops. I got these jeans quite a few months ago, back in the summer actually, but I never wore them back then because they were too tight for me. I took my regular AG size of 26 and they were super tight, so I wet stretched them for a while, but then put them back in their bag…
