The Emerald City

The Emerald Green Topshop Coat As most of you know, I don’t tend to wear a lot of green in my outfits. The only green that crops up every single time is in my eyes, so I’m trying to make a change and include more green! It’s a colour that I have always liked and I actually think it’s quite complementary to my skin tone, but I usually opt for lighter shades rather than an emerald jewel tone like this. When I saw this Topshop Emerald Green Coat though, I knew I wanted to style it and share it on my fashion blog as it makes the perfect change and is very fitting for London Fashion Week. I decided to wear the coat over my shoulders as it was a little large in the size UK 8, but kept everything else underneath in black. I wore my Oasis Jumper, my Hudson Barbara Jeans, my Chanel Wallet on Chain and my Christian Louboutin Pigalle Heels. I think keeping a black base was really helpful in giving the coat that visual appeal, while a little pop of a pink/red on my lips livened it up a little bit. I love coats so much, but I really hope it gets hot soon! I would love to know what you think of this outfit and whether or not you like the green coat? Comment below! What I Was Wearing: Coat – Topshop Knitwear – Oasis (similar) Jeans – Hudson Shoes – Christian Louboutin Bag – Chanel

Nautical But Nice

I’m going to keep this blog post short and sweet as unfortunately the last couple of days I haven’t been feeling very well at all and need to rest. So there’s a quick announcement, I am 6th in the top UK fashion blogs roundup on Vuelio! I can’t believe I am 6th out of the whole country for fashion blogs. Considering there are millions, that’s such an honour. It made my day yesterday, despite feeling really rubbish and attending the doctors. For this outfit, I chose to wear it a couple of weeks ago for something casual and easy. I’m very much into stripes in navy and white for that nautical theme, and this ONLY Striped Jumper/Sweater is seriously one of the most comfy and cozy pieces! I love how soft it is. Isn’t it pretty? I paired it with my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop Jeans in Aura, and my Ted & Muffy Blade Boots in Navy, to really keep the blue and white theme going. I then added in my Loeffler Randall Mini Saddle Bag in Navy to complete the look. Since I felt this was just a bit too much blue, I chose my old Topshop Burgundy Princess Style Coat to inject a little bit of complementing colour, while standing out. When it comes to location, I feel like this is such a nice background to surround the colours in my outfit. I’ve always had a thing for red, yellow, green, and blue together and with the hues of the bushes and trees in the background, it just adds such a colourful element to the photographs. As…

Rainy Days In Bright Coral Wellies

Hunter Bright Coral Wellies & Umbrella Outfit As you know, it rains on a weekly basis here in England, so I have a love of wellies (rain boots). Most of you know that I have about 10 pairs in different styles and colours, and that’s purely because I end up wearing them regularly due to the rain, and I need different pairs for different outfits, just like us girls do with regular shoes. So, with that being said, I am excited to introduce to you my brand new pair of Hunter Wellies, the Original Tall in Bright Coral! How gorgeous are these? I had been eyeing up the Bright Coral colour for months on the Hunter website, but I didn’t want to pay the retail price for them. I saw them go in the sale just after Christmas and I was tempted by them, but at that point I never had enough to purchase them. I was super excited when one of my friends (Andy) gave me a Hunter gift card to get the wellies as a Christmas present. It was truly so kind! I’m so glad that I ended up getting this pair because the colour is amazing. It’s almost like a neon, highlighter pen orange that glows, but it’s definitely coral and coral used to be my favourite colour! I had a bit of spare money left, so I managed to get the Hunter Bright Coral Umbrella to match the wellies, and how cool is it? That was in the sale too since Bright Coral was a seasonal colour. So this is the outfit I decided to wear…

The Leather Mini Skirt With Suede Boots

ASOS Leather Mini Skirt With Thigh High Boots & A Floppy Hat Even though Autumn has long gone, I felt like I wanted to do an outfit that was more Autumnal than it was Wintry. As you know from me saying (in this outfit) before, I’m a little bit fed up with the cold weather and the layers to keep warm, so again, I braved the cold for a different type of look. I wore this ASOS Faux Leather Mini Skirt in Black with my ALLSAINTS Alpha Roll Neck Jumper in Alpaca Brown. I thought it made a good base to be chic and fashionable instead of borderline risque, especially since I wore the Aldo Asteille Faux Suede Brown Thigh High Boots (same as the leather boots from this outfit). I kept with the brown theme and layered my Topshop Tan Coat over my shoulders for extra effect, then finished it off with my Celine Nano Luggage Bag in Dune, my Maison Scotch Hat, and a Ted Baker Jewellery Ballerina Necklace. When it comes to outfits and fashion, I’m very much into experimenting with different looks and even though I have done similar outfits to this before, with different pieces, it’s still incredibly different to my normal looks as I don’t wear skirts very often at all, especially not with thigh high boots. So this outfit here might be one of my favourites with a hat! I think it helps that I love this Allsaints jumper so much, which was unexpected. I never thought I would as it has wool in it and I get itchy skin with wool, but…

McGuire Velvet Exposed Button Jeans With Grey

I feel like this outfit is perhaps a little more classic of me, from many years ago. I’ve always loved burgundy jeans as you know, so when I came across these McGuire Newton Exposed Button Skinny Jeans in Burgundy Velvet, I was smitten. Not only do they combine my love of velvet, high rise, skinny and burgundy, they also have exposed buttons which is a trend I’ve loved for ages. It was absolutely freezing this day though, so despite me having two tops underneath this ALLSAINTS Cream Jumper, and my Warehouse Faux Fur Collar Grey Coat over the top, I was still freezing cold. The ASOS Leather Gloves didn’t manage to keep my hands warm, and my feet were frozen in my ALLSAINTS Boots! I had a scarf which I was wearing as well, just not for the photos, and I was still turning blue. Unfortunately Adam and I decided to go out and shoot these photos on one of the coldest days this year. It was about -5! Those of you who live here will know the exact day I mean, ha ha. I still braved the frostbite though and took the photos as I really loved the outfit and couldn’t wait to share my new favourite velvet jeans with you! I finished the whole outfit off with my Chanel Wallet On Chain in Black, to keep things classic. I’m a huge fan of the burgundy, grey, and black combination (see here and here) as those shades blend so well. Anyway, what do you think of this outfit? Comment and let me know! P.S. I did an interview with…

Mink Tulle & Velvet 50’s Dress

Little Mistress Mink Tulle & Velvet Dress With A Suede Jacket Despite it being absolutely freezing outside, I’ve been bored of layering up with a million pieces and only shooting winter appropriate outfits, so this weekend I braved the cold for a while to show you a look I love, which we did outside a local farm house. I got this gorgeous Little Mistress Tulle & Velvet Dress in Mink from ASOS after falling in love with it. Isn’t it beautiful? It combines my love of velvet, pastel purple, tulle, and dresses in one! I thought styling it with my ALLSAINTS Plait Balfern Suede Jacket in Grey was a good idea, to match the RAYE Grey Heels. It’s sort of a very modern and edgy twist on a 50’s party dress and I like that. I kept it classy with my beloved BVLGARI LVCEA Watch and jewellery though as I wore my new Kyoto Pearls (bracelets, necklace & earrings) to glam it up a lot. I have loved pearl jewellery for years and finding suitable pieces was always hard, but here are my ideal items. The double pearl earrings are my favourite, they remind me of the famous Chanel ones from a few seasons ago, but in a subtle version. You will be seeing these a lot more as I’m still wearing them now! The double twisted necklace is really nice too, I like how posh and chic it looks at the same time, plus I love beaded bracelets, so what’s better than pearl beaded bracelets? I also have them in grey which match my watch perfectly. Do you like…

Fifty Shades Of Black

Goosecraft Black Leather Jacket With Thigh High Boots First of all I wanted to say a huge thank you for the support you have all shown me via my fashion blog and my social media these past few days. It’s been a tough journey losing my nan, but I’m trying to keep positive and knowing you all care is really thoughtful and nice, I appreciate it. Thank you. Now this outfit is something different for me, not entirely different, but a bit different. I love thigh high boots and leather jackets, but rarely do I ever wear them together. I got given this Goosecraft Faux Fur Collar Leather Jacket as a Christmas present from a friend and it’s incredible. Isn’t it beautiful? I tried the ALLSAINTS Higgins Jacket before, but it just didn’t suit me as it was too thick, and this one ended up being perfect actually, so I definitely recommend the brand. I paired this leather jacket with an Oasis Black Jumper and my Hudson Barbara Skinny Jeans in Bazooka. I’ve been obsessed with Hudson Jeans lately and can never get enough of them, but this pair in particular are my go to jeans right now! Then, to finish the all black outfit off, I wore my new Aldo Asteille Faux Leather Thigh High Boots. These were also a gift from a friend and they are so pretty, you wouldn’t even know they weren’t real leather! Luckily as well, they are very slim in the legs so they fit me without needing to be custom sized! If you have narrow calves, I recommend these as they fit tightly.…

The Burgundy Leather Jacket & Boots

The Red Burgundy Leather Jacket With Burgundy Boots I’m sat here checking out my window regularly because of the imminent snow that we’re meant to have here in the UK today! I’m eagerly awaiting it, but knowing my luck it wont come. I’ve not seen snow in years, we hardly get any in my part of the country, but since there has been crazy snow storms all over the world (even in California), I’m hopeful! I got given a new pair of Hunter wellies as a present that I would really love to shoot in the snow as they’re bright coral! How pretty would that be? Getting to this outfit though, this is something dressed up but with a very casual vibe to it. I chose to wear my Zara Burgundy Leather Jacket over a cream Oasis jumper. I wanted to keep the undertones of the outfit neutral which is why I went with my Hudson Nix Jeans in Black, but to match my burgundy leather jacket I chose my Ted & Muffy Ismene Leather Boots in Cherry. The two shades of red are slightly different as the jacket is lighter, but they are very close to being the same burgundy shade and I like how it turned out. As you know I always love wearing leather jackets and this burgundy red one was the perfect choice for me for this shade. I had been looking for a red like this for years and I finally found one on Zara after seeing it on Marianna some months ago! It’s stunning isn’t it? Plus it meant that I got to wear…
