Stuart Weitzman Lowland Boots Outfit

Stuart Weitzman Lowland Boots With A Grey Coat Back in early January, when it was pretty cold, we shot these photos around by the Bath Spa in town and I really liked how they came out. They had more of a darker, arty vibe to them, but it was a struggle posing for too long as I remember my hands being absolutely freezing! This was an outfit that I had kind of put together on a whim, but when it comes to grey and black, you can’t really go wrong pairing various shades like that together. I was wearing my REISS Scarlet Teddy Coat that I absolutely adore and wear constantly in the wintertime, because it’s so roomy and perfect for layering, but also really smart and classy. I layered it over a simple grey Topshop knit, and tucked that into my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Grey. I finished it off with my Stuart Weitzman Lowland Boots in Black, that I got last year, and added in my Saint Laurent Nano Sac de Jour Bag in Grey. As much as I love the design of Stuart Weitzman boots, I find them pretty uncomfortable. Does anyone else? The stiff back of the heel tends to rub against my heel and cause some discomfort, and that disappoints me given the price of them, but I put up with it because they’re so pretty! Anyway, this outfit is more of a casual take on one that I wore previously (see it here). Instead of flat boots, I opted for heeled ones and a Chanel bag, so please do let me know which…

Contemplation

I know that I’ve been quite quiet on the blog scene and social media scene, and I did explain to you in a past post that I’m going through a lot at the moment, which is still true. I’m getting there slowly though, but I’m sure a lot of you can relate, and it’s tough, when your mind and head space are completely fried. That’s the reason I have been finding it hard to sit and write to you all, because I can’t even navigate my own thoughts and feelings on a day to day basis, let alone write them down constructively, which is why I just decided to start typing, and see what happens. All I know at the moment is that I really want to travel to the United States. I want to visit a few states there and experience so much of America that I have been dreaming to do my whole life. Of course I am nervous of flying, but I want to be able to just get on the plane and do it. I decided that I can’t really just sit at home all the time and do nothing, now is about travelling and experiencing culture, which I am excited to do. There’s a new chapter in my life that’s about to begin and I’m both nervous and excited for it to begin, but getting used to my current situation is definitely a shock to my system. How are you all coping right now with the lock down and the virus? For us, we’re still in lock down for a while and I’m just coping…

Layers Of Pewter

The Winter nights are finally drawing to a close and Spring is starting to appear, but I have a few outfits left to share with you before I step into my warmer weather attire. This look here was shot a few weeks ago, back in early January and it’s one that I threw together on a whim as I wanted to wear my Jimmy Choo Cruz Boots in Anthracite again. I’ve been living in these boots, as you can probably tell! I adore them and can never get enough of how cool they look. As it warms up, I can’t wait to wear these with dresses and skirts for a different kind of look. Anyway, for this outfit, I styled the Jimmy Choo Cruz Boots with my Beyond Yoga Black Leggings and an older Oasis White Fluffy Jumper as the base. I then layered over my Topshop Long Grey Belted Coat and finally finished it off with my Saint Laurent Nano Sac de Jour in Grey. You’d be correct in thinking that I always choose this bag too, but in fairness, it’s the only grey bag with silver hardware that I own and it’s extremely versatile. I do think it’s good to wear your pieces numerous times though as you end up getting a lot of wear in the cost per wear ratio. This outfit is a little bit more on the masculine side, but I really do think the crystals on the boots help ease it away from that entirely. It’s a combination that I would gladly wear again. How are you all anyway? I feel like it’s been…

The Pink Corduroy Jacket

The Oversized Pink Corduroy Jacket Outfit I hope everyone is staying safe right now in Storm Dennis! It’s a bit crazy out there! Hopefully this one isn’t as damaging as Ciara that we had last week. Anyway, getting to my outfit, this is one that I wore a couple of months ago actually, back in December, just before Christmas. It wasn’t overly cold out, but layering was a must because it was a little chilly. As you know, blush pink tones are one of my favourites and I think they suit my skin tone really nicely, so I was wearing my Topshop Oversized Pink Corduroy Jacket, which I picked up about 4 months ago after falling in love with it. It fits really large, so it’s perfect for layering over my thick White Jumper from Zara, which keeps me extra warm. I also wore my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Grey, which I styled with my Alexander McQueen Oversized Sneakers and finished it off with a Charcoal Scarf, and my Topshop Blush Pink Bobble Hat. I’m really feeling casual looks like this a lot at the moment as they’re so comfortable and easy to wear. Plus, having oversized jackets and coats really allows me to layer up nicely to keep warm, while looking stylish, so it’s a trend I’m liking a lot actually. This is definitely a combination that I have worn numerous times and I’ve been wearing this Topshop Corduroy Jacket a lot, in a similar way to this, just switching up my jeans and shoes. Let me know what you think of it! Lorna xx. *This post contains…

Tan, Black & Snake Print

Hi everyone! I know it’s been 10 days since I posted, but I have been going through a lot lately and needed some quiet time. I’m back now with this blog post, showcasing an outfit that I wore a few weekends ago. It wasn’t too cold out, so it was easy to just layer my 525 white roll neck sweater with my Topshop Del Boy inspired coat, finished off with my L’AGENCE Margot skinny jeans and my Topshop snake print boots. I actually put this outfit together on a whim and I quite like how it turned out. I even added in a shell necklace from Kate Spade that two of my friends got me for Christmas. Anyway, I’m going to keep this blog post short as I wanted to make an update for you all as it had been a while. Let me know what you think of this outfit! Lorna xx.

A Leather Jacket With Suede Boots

Those of you who have followed me for a long time will know that a leather jacket, skinny jeans, and boots, is kind of a signature look for me, especially in the cooler weather. For this particular combination, I wore my Allsaints Elva Leather Jacket with my Topshop Grey Jumper, my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Slate, and my Stuart Weitzman Lowland Boots in Black, finished off with my Saint Laurent Grey Nano Sac de Jour in some photos. Wearing grey and black monochrome is a look that I’m really fond of too. I’m all about keeping things neutral and rarely having that much colour anymore, unless it’s summer. I often prefer blush tones or muted shades now too, so this outfit is perfect for me. I will admit that I was absolutely freezing though as it was only 4C out! Sometimes you just have to suffer to wear the outfits you want though, ha ha. What do you think of this one? Do you like it? Another Take On Mom Jeans

Mom Jeans And Combat Boots Again You just saw my previous blog post when I wore these mom jeans and combat boots together, so I thought I would also show another look at how I styled them on the weekend. My jeans are the AGOLDE Riley Double Pocket Jeans and the boots are my Jimmy Choo Cruz Boots in Anthracite, which I reviewed not long ago. I absolutely love how these jeans look as a base with these boots, but instead of going for a teddy coat and a loose fitting knit, I opted for my Zara Faux Fur Coat, which I layered over my 525 Ribbed Roll Neck Jumper, then finally finished it off with a Topshop Micro Nylon Cross Body Bag in Beige. This ribbed jumper is actually my favourite roll neck that I own! It’s so comfortable and I think it’s one of the most flattering pieces too, especially in this Sandstone shade! It was a spur of the moment purchase and I’m so glad that I got it! I think this whole look has a very 90’s vibe to it, but in a much more modern way. I also love this cross-body bag from Topshop. Sometimes I only want to take my phone and my cards and keys with me, or just a lipstick in there too, and this is the perfect size! It’s not heavy and the way it sits on my body is perfect for keeping my essentials safe! I also picked it up in black, so I am covered for each outfit opportunity! Even though it’s a different look for me, I really…

Jimmy Choo Cruz Boots & Mom Jeans

Mom Jeans And Combat Boots I’m trying something a little different with this look here! Opting for more of an androgynous vibe, mixing feminine and masculine together, and I quite like how it turned out! It’s not an outfit that I would usually go for, as you know I tend to favour the skinniest of jeans, but when I saw these AGOLDE Riley Double Pocket Jeans and how gorgeous the wash was, I was hooked! They are rigid 100% cotton though, so I did size up to a 29 to make sure they had a comfortable fit to them, but aren’t they pretty? I know they’re not everyone’s cup of tea due to the fit, but I really like them. For the rest of the outfit, I decided to wear my REISS Scarlet Teddy Coat and a Topman Grey Jumper underneath, to keep the neutral tones, then to finish it off, something you just saw recently when I shared my Jimmy Choo Cruz Boots review with you! These are the Anthracite colour and they’re just incredible! This is the first outfit I wore them with that I’ve shared, but I’ve actually worn them four times so far and plan on showcasing the second look next week sometime! What’s your opinion on outfits like this, with mom jeans and combat boots? Is it something you are gravitating towards as well, since the trends are heading this way? And what do you think of the way I interpreted this trend with the Jimmy Choo boots? Lorna xx. *This post contains affiliate links to help keep this blog running.
