A Leather Jacket With Suede Boots

Those of you who have followed me for a long time will know that a leather jacket, skinny jeans, and boots, is kind of a signature look for me, especially in the cooler weather. For this particular combination, I wore my Allsaints Elva Leather Jacket with my Topshop Grey Jumper, my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Slate, and my Stuart Weitzman Lowland Boots in Black, finished off with my Saint Laurent Grey Nano Sac de Jour in some photos. Wearing grey and black monochrome is a look that I’m really fond of too. I’m all about keeping things neutral and rarely having that much colour anymore, unless it’s summer. I often prefer blush tones or muted shades now too, so this outfit is perfect for me. I will admit that I was absolutely freezing though as it was only 4C out! Sometimes you just have to suffer to wear the outfits you want though, ha ha. What do you think of this one? Do you like it? Another Take On Mom Jeans

Mom Jeans And Combat Boots Again You just saw my previous blog post when I wore these mom jeans and combat boots together, so I thought I would also show another look at how I styled them on the weekend. My jeans are the AGOLDE Riley Double Pocket Jeans and the boots are my Jimmy Choo Cruz Boots in Anthracite, which I reviewed not long ago. I absolutely love how these jeans look as a base with these boots, but instead of going for a teddy coat and a loose fitting knit, I opted for my Zara Faux Fur Coat, which I layered over my 525 Ribbed Roll Neck Jumper, then finally finished it off with a Topshop Micro Nylon Cross Body Bag in Beige. This ribbed jumper is actually my favourite roll neck that I own! It’s so comfortable and I think it’s one of the most flattering pieces too, especially in this Sandstone shade! It was a spur of the moment purchase and I’m so glad that I got it! I think this whole look has a very 90’s vibe to it, but in a much more modern way. I also love this cross-body bag from Topshop. Sometimes I only want to take my phone and my cards and keys with me, or just a lipstick in there too, and this is the perfect size! It’s not heavy and the way it sits on my body is perfect for keeping my essentials safe! I also picked it up in black, so I am covered for each outfit opportunity! Even though it’s a different look for me, I really…

Jimmy Choo Cruz Boots & Mom Jeans

Mom Jeans And Combat Boots I’m trying something a little different with this look here! Opting for more of an androgynous vibe, mixing feminine and masculine together, and I quite like how it turned out! It’s not an outfit that I would usually go for, as you know I tend to favour the skinniest of jeans, but when I saw these AGOLDE Riley Double Pocket Jeans and how gorgeous the wash was, I was hooked! They are rigid 100% cotton though, so I did size up to a 29 to make sure they had a comfortable fit to them, but aren’t they pretty? I know they’re not everyone’s cup of tea due to the fit, but I really like them. For the rest of the outfit, I decided to wear my REISS Scarlet Teddy Coat and a Topman Grey Jumper underneath, to keep the neutral tones, then to finish it off, something you just saw recently when I shared my Jimmy Choo Cruz Boots review with you! These are the Anthracite colour and they’re just incredible! This is the first outfit I wore them with that I’ve shared, but I’ve actually worn them four times so far and plan on showcasing the second look next week sometime! What’s your opinion on outfits like this, with mom jeans and combat boots? Is it something you are gravitating towards as well, since the trends are heading this way? And what do you think of the way I interpreted this trend with the Jimmy Choo boots? Lorna xx. *This post contains affiliate links to help keep this blog running.

The Faviola Geometric Boots Outfit

It’s always been constantly raining here in England. I know that’s a cliche, but it actually has. I swear it’s rained 90% off this year! Taking outfit photos has been pretty tricky, waiting for the rain to stop, the light to be right, etc. but I actually think the wet ground added a pretty element to these photos. This was the second set of photos from my GEOX collaboration on Instagram (see the first here) and it features a look I put together, centered around the Faviola Boots. They have such a cool geometric design in suede, using burgundy, grey, and navy, to make a statement. I paired them with my Reiss Scarlet Teddy Coat, my Topshop Faux Leather Skirt, and a Mango Tank Top. It’s a pretty simple combination and one that I think turned out quite nicely, as it’s chic, put together, smart, yet still stylish and fun. So, this rounds out my last outfit post of the year 2019! My next blog post is going to be a roundup of the year, and looking forward to 2020. Can you believe how fast it’s all gone? I think this look here though, with GEOX, is a great way to end the blogging year! What do you think? Lorna. *AD – I wasn’t paid for this blog post, as my collaboration with GEOX was for Instagram only, however I love the way the photos turned out so I’m sharing them here too!

A Brown Del Boy Coat In The Snow

A Brown Coat & Heeled Boots In The Snow And here’s my final snow outfit of the year! Well, I say that in reference to the snow photos we shot when we were covered in it, but I keep hearing rumours that it’s going to snow again, so who actually knows? Ha ha. Either way though, since our seasons moved forward, I’m sure there wont be any at the end of this year, which I say with confidence. As a round out to my snow sets though, I think this year was actually the most fun I had with my outfits and utilising the white blanket that covers everything. It really makes everything look so different when I’m used to green grass everywhere, so it creates an entirely different, more vintage, vibe to my backgrounds. For this look I was wearing my older trusty Topshop Brown Coat (which reminds me of Del Boy and I’ve worn it so many times! See here and here!) styled with a Zara White Fluffy Jumper and my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite. I threw on my Louis Vuitton Belt with this and then chose my ALDO Thigh High Black Boots, topped off with my Topshop Bobble Hat. Honestly, I quickly changed the boots after this as it was really risky walking about on the ice areas due to the heel, but I liked how different they looked with this outfit, and it was something more unique for a snow look – not the most sensible of choices obviously, but different! Anyway, this is it now for previous season photos, everything coming now will…

A Leather Jacket & Jeans In The Snow

Boda Skins Leather Jacket In The Snow I’m feeling mixed emotions while editing these snow photos. While looking outside it’s very spring like with the sun shining, birds chirping, and blossom on the trees, but I really enjoy looking at the wintry scene created in these pictures that we took a while back. I was wearing my Boda Skins Kay Michaels Leather Jacket in Antique Brown, and I layered it over my fluffy white jumper from Zara, for extra warmth. For my jeans I went with my PAIGE Margot’s and then finished it off with a statement lip and a Topshop Bobble Hat. I know this isn’t necessarily appropriate for the snow, like most of my other snow looks weren’t (see here, here and here) but I enjoy creating outfits that really play off the white background, but are neutral too! I only have one more snow outfit to share with you after this as well, and that one is more snow appropriate thankfully, so you will be pleased to hear that, ha ha! How are you all anyway? I hope you’re well! I feel like I keep up to date with a lot of you on Instagram and I regularly chat there, but I like to know that you’re all doing well here too since not all of you are over on Instagram. What do you think of this look? I’m keeping the text short so it’s not too overwhelming as you’ve seen a lot of snow pictures already! Lorna xx. P.S. – Allsaints have a 40% off sale right now! Let It Snow In Narnia

A Faux Fur Coat Outfit In The Snow Remember when it snowed? I still have a few photos to share with you from that weekend. These were actually the first set we shot and it was a blizzard out, so really I only have 4 photos and that was a push getting those, the rest of them are outtakes because my hair was everywhere and my face was screwed up from being freezing cold, ha ha. I really do like how these came out though as I’ve edited them to have a vintage appearance, and it reminds me so much of Narnia! I’m assuming most of you have seen The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe? If you haven’t, click here because Narnia is amazing! It just gave me vibes of that and I love it. I was wearing my Zara Faux Fur Coat which you have seen before, here and here, and layered it with my Brown Fluffy Zara Jumper again as I love that combination. I then chose my Pretty Little Thing Checked Trousers and added in my Louis Vuitton Reversible Belt to the mix to tone it down. These trousers actually have a ruffled waistband (remember this outfit?) and I tucked it under to create a different look, then finished it off with some flat boots. I did brave the cold snow for this look as my feet ended up freezing and I quickly changed to wellies, but shh, don’t tell anyone! As far as colour goes in my outfits, I’m sure you have noticed that I’m mostly only wearing neutrals these days and not really opting…

A Faux Fur Coat With Thigh High Boots

The Faux Fur Coat With Thigh High Boots Today I’ve been busy going to more DIY stores to get a few more things for my room, as well as going out to lunch with my mum (which you can see on my Instagram stories here). The sun has been shining and I was actually really warm since it was around 15C today, so I really do think Spring is in the air! I can’t wait for this weekend as I’m doing some blossom photoshoots! Anyway, getting to this outfit, Adam and I shot these photos back around New Year and I’m sharing them now. I love the Wintry vibe that these pictures have, and the overall vintage appearance! So, I was wearing my Zara Fluffy White Jumper, which seems to be the only knitwear I am living in lately, and then layered my Zara Faux Fur Coat over the top (you saw it before here). A fluffy jumper and faux fur seems to be my uniform, especially when paired with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite, which I’m sure you’re starting to recognise given how much I live in them! This time though I wanted the neutrals to pop against more black which is why I went with my DUO Empress Thigh High Boots in Black Suede, and then finished it off with my Gucci GG Marmont Bag in Black Velvet to add a bit of glam to it. As you can see, from the previous way I wore this coat, the two looks here are quite different. The first one was quite elegant and feminine, while this one…
