I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Easter! I made these bunny ears today out of paper and cardboard as I never had any, ha ha. I think they turned out quite cute though and definitely fit the Easter theme! Hopefully you all have a nice day and enjoy it! Thank you for being fans of my blog! I appreciate it! So my blog will be 2 years old on March 10th 2012 and I am wondering what sort of post to do in celebration of it. Last year I did a video showing you some of my favourite shoes, but this year I am stuck for ideas. What sort of post would you all like to see? I’m open to ideas! Perhaps you want to see something like a collection of mine, or a video, or something else? Any ideas are welcome! As long as it fits in with the style of my blog which is my personal style, things personal to me or things I love. So do you have some ideas? P.S – If you are wondering about the picture I chose for this post, I took part in an Aussie hairstyling challenge with Aussie products. Unfortunately I wasn’t the winner, but I do quite like the hairstyle I went for! (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)
An adorable heart shaped water bottle that I got from my boyfriend last year. I can’t be without water bottles! I get so cold. I thought I would put together a little post of the things that make me smile and keep me cosy during the Winter months! There are a mix of things, obviously not everything is listed, but some of the important ones are. What keeps you smiling during Winter? (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook) Amazingly cosy slipper boots which I just got this morning as a gift from DearFoams. They are so warm! Slippers are a must for me, I always have cold feet. I love thick socks as well, I own quite a few and wear them everyday. Books! I love lying in bed at night, snuggled up, reading books. I’m currently obsessed with the Twilight series and I can’t get enough of it! My mums home made vegetable soup. I love it so much! It’s delicious! It has carrots, broccoli, pearl barley and potatoes. The first sign of Spring! I spotted these daffodils just springing on the weekend. There is nothing like hope, knowing Spring and Summer are around the corner! Cosy pyjamas! I have a lot of pyjamas, but I really like the thicker bottoms with fun prints like these ones with foxes! Adorable Christmas Mulberry packaging! I usually love Mulberry’s gift wrapping, but at Christmas time it was so cute with the jingle bells and ribbon. Cat cuddles! Who can say no to sleepy cat cuddles? I love snuggling up with kitties more than most things. I’m a huge animal lover,…
Finally the cold weather has turned into something worth wile! Snow! I was so excited when it started to snow yesterday. I was out to lunch at the time with my boyfriend and although it was absolutely freezing, I was happy because I love snow and I rarely get to see it! It’s so pretty! Here are some of the snow photos we took and the rest of the outfit photos will be posted soon! Have you been enjoying snow too? (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)
Unfortunately I am really ill at the moment so I haven’t been able to do any new photos, I have the flu and it’s awful, I’ve barely been sleeping, but I wanted to wish you all a very Happy New Year! 2011 for me has been full of ups and downs! I only share with you the ups because I don’t like to moan or put negativity into things. So focusing on the best parts, it’s been really good! My blog is almost 2 years old and during this past year it has grown tremendously! I have gained a lot of new readers and fans, had opportunities to work with brands and people that I haven’t worked with before and also had some really great trips to London, brought out my collaboration jeans with Paige and I’ve had some nice magazine features, but those were mainly for DenimBlog, Chicismo voted me as the top UK style blogger, 7 For All Mankind put me in their top 10 bloggers list and I even got a new hair cut, which I am still unsure on lol. I don’t think I can thank you enough for being such great fans of Raindrops of Sapphire, being supportive and enjoying the posts that I make! I really do appreciate it and I always reply to every comment left on my blog to show my appreciation as well. I hope 2012 will be just as wonderful for blogging and sharing things with you all! I hope you have a great 2012! If it is going to be anything like 2011, it will fly by and it…
I wanted to wish you all a Happy Christmas and say thank you to all of you for being fans of my blog! I really appreciate your support and the lovely comments that you leave me on my posts. Reading your comments is what makes me happy to post my blogs actually, I love to know that you are connecting with what I am posting about. I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas this weekend and for those of you who don’t celebrate it, a big Happy Holidays! The picture above is of my boyfriends Christmas tree (decorated by his sister) which I think is amazing! The images below are of my tree and decorations. Are you all ready for the festive weekend? So I know you all wanted me to show you my new hairstyle. As you know I was thinking of getting a fringe/bangs when I was getting my hair cut on Friday. I decided to go for it and I have been trying to get used to the new style for the past couple of days. At first I really wasn’t sure on it, I thought that it looks too heavy and the fringe makes my face a bit square. Everyone else has said that it looks really nice on me and they like it a lot though. I’m still trying to get used to it and I think it will look a lot better if my hair was more blonde. I used to have quite blonde hair from the sun as it lightens in the Summer, but now it’s been cut, it’s quite dark, so I have decided that I need some highlights put through around the front and on top and I think it will look better then, it wont be so harsh on my face as I am quite pale. Anyway, what do you all think of my new hairstyle? Do you like it or do you think it looks really bad? I’m still not sure if I regret the decision. I feel like my hair is not as girly anymore. First of all I wanted to apologise for not posting very much lately, I was in London yesterday and I have been so tired from all of the traveling and things that I haven’t been able to make many posts. I’m finally getting my hair cut tomorrow and I want to try a completely new style. I’ve always wanted to try a fringe/bangs but I have been too scared to. I used to have a heavy one when I was really young but the change is something I am frightened to do in case I don’t like it. I decided though, that I am going to go for it. I found these pictures of the two Taylors (Taylor Swift and Taylor Momsen) and I like both of their styles. I am only going to have about an inch or so off of the length as I want to keep it long, so I am thinking that maybe Taylor Swifts hairstyle below might be one I want to go for. It’s a difficult choice though, what do you all think? Should I get a fringe/bangs? I’ve already had the side sweeping one for a long time, but I decided this time, it’s a full one or nothing!
