The Wrap Coat And Over The Knee Boots

The Wrap Coat With Over The Knee Boots Outfit Another outfit post and another re-styling of something old. Do any of you remember this Buffalo Wrap Coat in Camel? I styled it before – back in 2014 (I can’t believe it was that long ago!) and I chose to wear it with grey over the knee boots and a hat. To bring it more to the current time, I opted for my Ted & Muffy/DUO Empress Black Over The Knee Boots, my James Jeans in Black, a simple Black Oasis Jumper, finished off with my Celine Nano Luggage in Dune. I thought the location of The Royal Crescent would be ideal for this though as it’s got a great atmosphere. This is the outfit that I wore last Saturday actually as I thought I was well enough to go out, but I later regretted that as I ended up exhausting myself from the walking and needing to use my inhaler because my chest was tight from the left over flu still remaining. It was also freezing, but as I kept sweating I was having issues regulating my temperature. I was fed up of being stuck in though and felt like I really wanted to go get some lunch and shoot outfit photos, so that’s what we did. I have edited out my cold sore though as I always get one after a virus, ha ha. Funnily enough because I had still kept this wrap coat in its box from the first time I wore it, I had actually forgotten about it. I’ve been looking through older photos on my fashion…

Red Boots

The Red Boots Outfit There’s been a little change around with my schedule as things haven’t quite gone to plan this week. I caught a cold/flu on Monday and have been incredibly ill (much like everyone else right now, I know) so I’ve been in bed a lot, suffering the rotten symptoms and have barely been able to work. I did put on Instagram and Twitter that I would be taking a break so I didn’t post for 2 days, and have taken a 4 day break on the blog as well, as resting up and not looking at screens was what had to be done. Thankfully I am feeling well enough to catch up on things and get some work done, but still struggling with even going out or just speaking without irritating my nose and throat. I did have another post planned for publishing yesterday, but I haven’t even been able to make a start on any this week at all, so I’m using older photos. Adam and I actually shot these back in November and I wasn’t going to use them as we started shooting the photos to showcase the boots and once I saw how it looked on the camera, I decided to quit the photo shoot as I was freezing and I just didn’t like how the photos looked, or the outfit in general as the red’s didn’t match either. I think the main issue was the fact that my striped top underneath was blue and I had removed my scarf, so I made the mistake of not realising it would show through and it…

The Burgundy Leather Jacket & Boots

The Red Burgundy Leather Jacket With Burgundy Boots I’m sat here checking out my window regularly because of the imminent snow that we’re meant to have here in the UK today! I’m eagerly awaiting it, but knowing my luck it wont come. I’ve not seen snow in years, we hardly get any in my part of the country, but since there has been crazy snow storms all over the world (even in California), I’m hopeful! I got given a new pair of Hunter wellies as a present that I would really love to shoot in the snow as they’re bright coral! How pretty would that be? Getting to this outfit though, this is something dressed up but with a very casual vibe to it. I chose to wear my Zara Burgundy Leather Jacket over a cream Oasis jumper. I wanted to keep the undertones of the outfit neutral which is why I went with my Hudson Nix Jeans in Black, but to match my burgundy leather jacket I chose my Ted & Muffy Ismene Leather Boots in Cherry. The two shades of red are slightly different as the jacket is lighter, but they are very close to being the same burgundy shade and I like how it turned out. As you know I always love wearing leather jackets and this burgundy red one was the perfect choice for me for this shade. I had been looking for a red like this for years and I finally found one on Zara after seeing it on Marianna some months ago! It’s stunning isn’t it? Plus it meant that I got to wear…

The Navy Knee High Boots Outfit

Ted & Muffy Blade Knee High Boots in Ink Navy Suede As you all know, I am a huge lover of over the knee and thigh high boots, so much so that I own quite a few pairs of them. Since I have very small calves (they measure 33cm) and a larger foot size of a UK 6 or 7, it means that regular boots never fit me correctly as the calf area is always too big and sloppy. I’m a huge lover of the brand Ted & Muffy (formally known as DUO) since they do boots in all different calf sizes and foot sizes, meaning I can get tall boots that actually fit. As I said before, all of my tall boots are from Ted & Muffy since they are the only brand that fit me perfectly (see all my DUO posts here and Ted & Muffy posts here) and these brand new Ted & Muffy Blade Knee High Boots in Ink Navy Suede are my newest addition to my collection. I’ve never owned any navy coloured boots before, other than my Hunter Wellies, but it was about time that I did. I am always wearing jeans and navy suede complements blue denim perfectly. Not to mention it’s nice to have a pair of tall boots without a heel too as flats can often be a lot more comfortable during the wet weather. I decided to pair these Over The Knee Boots with my Oasis White Jumper, my ALLSAINTS Grey Coat, my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop Jeans, and my Chloe Mini Drew Bag. I thought the combination of…

There’s A Snake In My Boots

ALLSAINTS Manson Vest with Grey Skinny Jeans As a little update to begin this post, I wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who has offered me support and kind words during my course of treatment. I finally finished the 9 tablets a day for 14 days yesterday, but it’s still going to take a while for me to feel better. Currently I’m not feeling any better as it’s up and down, and I’m still suffering the side effects of the antibiotics, which are highly unpleasant. I’m trying to go gluten free for a while now and I avoid dairy anyway, so anything I can do to keep my stomach lining from getting inflamed, I’m going to try. I’m taking probiotics and eating fruits and vegetables to make sure I’m getting as much nutrition as I can possibly get, but it’s definitely a tough time. I can only hope that I’m better for July when Adam and I go to St. Ives again. We shot these photos a little while ago and I quite like how they turned out. You know how much of a fan of grey I am and I always tend to live in my J Brand Maria Jeans in Dove, but I always look for different things to pair them with. I wore this new ALLSAINTS Manson Vest in Porcelain White which I had been eyeing up for a while and I think it goes perfectly with the jeans. It’s such a unique shape and design (Adam isn’t a fan as he calls it a cricket top!) but I think it’s extremely flattering and…

These Boots Are Made For Walking

Ted & Muffy Snake Boots With Skinny Jeans & Layers After spending the majority of yesterday in bed and getting behind again on blogging work, I’m finally starting to feel better. It’s taken a week and today is the first day that I’m feeling improvement. After I made my post about having the flu, I developed sinus issues and my face was so swollen and felt like it was exploding, it’s just been one thing after another, which has gotten me so down to the point of breaking down over the tiniest things. If I wasn’t better by today then I was headed to the doctors, but I’m just so thankful that I am on the mend. The pressure has gone down in my face and I’m much less achy, exhausted and sick, thank goodness. I really appreciate all of the well wishes you sent me though, it truly means so much to me to know how sweet you all are and how caring, so thank you. Getting to this outfit, we shot it a few weeks ago when I’d just gotten the amazing Ted & Muffy Medusa Snake Print Boots which had been on my wish list for a while. The brand was super sweet and sent them to me to style and review (review coming soon) and I couldn’t wait to wear them out. I’ve never owned anything snake print before and while I wouldn’t wear real snakeskin, I love the print of it. These aren’t my usual style either since they are quite bold, but I think that’s why I love them. I decided to keep things…

My Valentine’s Day Outfit

Topshop Pinafore Corduroy Dress With Thigh High Boots Happy belated Valentine’s Day to you all! Adam and I celebrated it over Friday and Saturday instead of Sunday, so I wore this outfit out on the Friday for some lunch and a walk in the park while the daffodils had started to bloom, making a great setting for photos, and then on Saturday we stayed in and watched movies, then ordered some Wagamama takeaway in the evening to eat at home. Nothing lavish, expensive or grand for this one as we are both trying to save money, plus I prefer quiet and quality time over anything extravagant. To me it’s about the company you’re in rather than what fancy thing you might be doing. If you wanted to see what I got for Valentine’s Day from him too, you can see on my Instagram (click here). It was a tiny little Links of London ring charm that I put on a silver chain to wear as a necklace. It’s adorable! Getting to my actual Valentine’s outfit that I’m sharing with you here, I wanted to wear something different. I’m forever in jeans in Winter almost 100% of the time so I felt like it was time to make a change. I wore my Topshop Pinafore Corduroy Burgundy Dress which I got last month. I’d been eyeing it up for months and then decided to give it a go and I love it! I thought it would be more suitable for the warmer weather since it’s a dress and I don’t like tights, however I found these cashmere and cotton tights which…

Waterfall Coats & Thigh High Boots

All Saints Ora Coat With Thigh High Suede Boots I always feel like I never have much good news about my health lately. On Saturday I started to feel unwell and I went to the doctors on Monday, it turns out that I have a kidney infection. I’ve been on antibiotics, but I still don’t feel well so I have to go back to the doctors as I don’t think it’s cleared up yet unfortunately. I’m thinking I might need some stronger antibiotics, but the thing that’s most annoying is the back ache, the nausea and the shivers, combined with the constant need for the bathroom. I’m honestly trying my hardest to look after myself by eating clean, drinking lots of water etc, but I guess I’m going through it at the moment and it just seems to be one thing after the other. I just hope it clears up really soon so I can start getting things back on track. Putting my health aside, this is an outfit that I put together on the spur of the moment and actually turned out to love. I decided to wear my All Saints Ora coat (they have 20% off it at the moment with the code Extra20 here), which you saw me wear before with white skinny jeans and heels, but this time I paired it with my new Oasis The Perfect Crew, which I am obsessed with, and my J Brand Maria skinny jeans in Dove Grey. I then decided to wear my Ted & Muffy Empress thigh high boots in Black Suede (similar here) as I thought they would…
