The Oversized Green Plaid Shirt

(Jeans – Exact, Shirt – Exact, Bag – Exact, Boots – Similar, Sunglasses – Exact, Watch – Exact) I wore this outfit yesterday when I went to the cinema with my boyfriend. We watched Captain America 2 at a half 11 showing in the morning and then went for a walk around town afterwards. I absolutely love Captain America as you may have already noticed before, so I wasn’t disappointed by the film at all! After the movie, we headed up the top of town and found this beautiful art museum in an old house. It was really picturesque and just as you would imagine old England to be. The grounds were lovely and that’s where we decided to shoot our photos for the day. I’m so glad the weather has made a turn around, it’s been warm and sunny for a while now! It’s exciting to us Brits! I wore my Urban Renewal Oversized Green Plaid Shirt over a simple white tee from H&M. I actually got this shirt off the mannequin in Urban Outfitters as it was the only one in this colour combination. It’s such a bright and intense green, I didn’t even worry that it’s much too big for me. I think it looks fine when it’s worn slouchy anyway. I paired it with my classic Black Levi’s Skinny Jeans and KG by Kurt Geiger Winona Boots as I love these boots with these jeans, they really lengthen my legs as they are the same colour. I definitely don’t recommend walking around for ages in these shoes though, my feet were killing me after a while! For…

My New Ray-Ban Aviators In Mirrored Red/Orange

As the warmer weather is approaching, there’s nothing I love more than sunglasses and one of my weaknesses is Ray-Ban’s Mirrored Aviators! I already own the mirrored blue lenses and the mirrored green lenses, but I recently acquired these gorgeous red/orange mirrored lenses from Sunglasses Shop. I have been wanting these since last year when I got my other two pairs, but I never got around to getting them as Winter turned up! I’m ecstatic that I have them now though! I absolutely love them so much! I will be sharing a post with you soon with all three pairs together, but I wanted to show you these on their own first of all. They make me so ready for the sunshine! Plus, I like it when nobody can see my eyes behind sunglasses, ha ha! Do you like the Ray-Ban Mirrored Aviators too? You can shop them online at Sunglasses Shop if you love them! Comment and let me know what you think!

Purple, Purple, Precious, Pretty Purple

(Jeans – Similar, Jacket – Exact, Sunglasses – Exact, Bag – Exact, Boots – Exact) This is the outfit that I wore to town on Saturday with my boyfriend. I wasn’t feeling very well actually so I wasn’t really in the mood for heels and dressing up, I just put something casual together and went with it. We both ate in Giraffe for our lunch as we hadn’t been there in a long time, so we thought it would be a nice change. I had the chicken club sandwich and my boyfriend had the cheese burger, but I can never end up eating all of mine as it’s just too much food, so Adam usually eats my chips/fries. Getting back to my outfit, I wanted to wear this really pretty Faux Leather Biker Jacket with Ruched Sleeves that I got to choose from Bank Clothing. It’s a gorgeous jacket and I love the moto style collar it has to it. I did just share this with you yesterday in my new purchases post and this is how it looks worn. I took a size UK 8, which is my usual size, and it fits me fine. I like the way it’s cropped a little bit and fits in a flattering way. I decided to add a mix of purple to my outfit this time (instead of my beloved burgundy) so I went for my old 7 For All Mankind Gummy Leggings in Purple. I haven’t worn these in such a long time and I had forgotten just how comfortable they are, which was perfect since I needed comfort. Keeping with the…

My Ray-Ban Sunglasses Addiction & Wish List

Sunglasses are a huge weakness of mine, I absolutely love them. Especially Ray-Ban sunglasses. I’ve got quite a collection of them now, particularly the aviators as I have them in a couple of mirrored lenses and a classic brown, but long to own them in the red mirrored lenses as well as I think they are gorgeous! A dream pair for me would definitely be a mirrored purple! I think those would look amazing! Or pink! I also own two pairs of the Cats 5000 in glitter pink and tortoise, Jackie Oh in tortoise, Wayfarers in Black, Cats Eyes in Tortoise and also 2 plastic pink frames. I think I have about 10 pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses and I did get most of them from Sunglasses Shop. I think sunglasses work in a really great way, they have health benefits for protecting your eyes from the UV rays and also stopping you from getting premature crows feet lines around your eyes, but they look great as well. I have always seen them as a fashion statement and they generally really finish off an outfit and add that essence of ‘cool’ to your look. It’s a shame it’s not always sunny here in England as I generally only get to wear my sunglasses during the summer month, but I think that maybe makes me appreciate them a lot more because I really look forward to being able to wear them. If I had to choose two of my favourite pairs, I would pick the mirrored blue and green Ray-Ban aviators as I wear them often and they look pretty! Since sunglasses…

Burgundy Varisty Jacket With Vintage Denim Shorts

(Shorts – Exact, Shoes – Similar, Jacket – Similar, Bag – Similar, Sunglasses – Similar) I’m not overly fond of this look at all, but unfortunately I don’t have anymore photos for an outfit as my boyfriend was sick on the weekend, so I didn’t get to see him, he’s better now though. This is a look I wore a while ago, when it was cooler, but warm at the same time. It’s not one of my best outfits by all means, and the sun was really bright so I look incredibly white, but I needed to post it anyway, so don’t be too harsh on me, ha ha. I was wearing my Levi’s Denim Shorts, my Topshop Burgundy Varsity Jacket, my River Island Burgundy Trainers, my Mulberry Mini Taylor in Sycamore and my D&G Sunglasses. It’s definitely a mix of primary colours here with the red, blue and yellow, but I do like the colour palette a lot. How have you all been? I hope you are looking forward to the long weekend! I’ve got a couple of exciting things planned over the weekend myself! Including a museum visit, which I am looking forward to!

Gone With The Humming Birds

(Skirt – Exact, Top – Similar, Sandals – Exact, Ring – Exact, Bracelets – Similar, Necklace – Exact, Bag – Similar, Sunglasses – Exact) This is the outfit that I wore out to lunch with my boyfriend on the weekend. You may have noticed by now that it’s sort of become a tradition to go out to lunch together when he’s here, it’s just something we love to do. I wore my new Humming Bird Burgundy Skirt from ASOS for the day as it was so hot, I needed something to cool me down. I had to wear this really long dress vest underneath though because whenever wind comes along, the skirt flips up and I would have been showing myself to everyone walking by ha ha. Thank goodness I did have it on because my skirt definitely blew up numerous times! I paired the Humming Bird Skirt with my new River Island Studded Sandals, a Miss Selfridge Black Dress Top, various Gold Bracelets and a Horns Ring from ASOS, a Krystal Swarovski Tear Drop Gem Ring in Fuchsia, my Topshop Crystal Pave Bunting Collar Necklace my Mulberry Mini Taylor in Deer Brown and my Ray-Ban Aviators with Blue Mirrored Lenses. I always love the combination of burgundy and black, as I’m sure you know by now, so I think finishing it off with loads of accessories is always the best way. On a separate note, today I am actually on my way to Buckingham Palace to a special exhibition for press. It’s in celebration of the Queens coronation and I am going to see the dresses, jewels, carriages etc…

A Burgundy Dress & Sunsets At The Beach

(Dress – Similar, Sandals – Similar, Bag – Exact, Watch – Exact, Sunglasses – Exact, Bottle – Exact) At the weekend I went to the beach for the evening with my boyfriend as it was really warm. We went to Burnham On Sea, which is a place I haven’t ever been before. The beaches I used to go to as a child were mainly Weston Super Mare and Weymouth, but even though Burnham is small, it’s really quiet and such a nice place to sit and relax. I’ve never really been on the beach while the sun was setting before either, but it was amazing. The colours that reflect off the ocean are so intense, it’s beautiful! We managed to get some really pretty photos while we were there, which you can see in this post. I wore my Urban Outfitters Burgundy Dress, ASOS Sandals, my Daniel Wellington Watch, my Ray-Ban Aviators and various bracelets. I also wore my Hawthorn & Co. Neutral Cotton Satchel which I got given by the lovely founder of the brand, Amy, from Devon here in the UK. This was the bag that I took with me for my long trip through Paris and Italy last month and it was a life saver! I struggle so much with bags that are heavy before anything is put into them, but this doesn’t have any weight to it since it’s a canvas cotton material, plus it’s not too structured, so you can fit as much stuff into it that you want. It’s definitely a great bag for travelling with and since it’s neutral, it goes with anything!…

The Black Shorts With A White Bow Tank Top

(Shorts – Similar, Tank – Similar, Sandals – Similar, Watch – Exact, Bag – Similar, Sunglasses – Exact) I wore this outfit to town on the weekend with my boyfriend. It’s been so hot here though, I literally haven’t experienced this kind of heat wave over here in England since I was little! It’s been around 28-29 Celsius for ages now and it’s here to stay for a month apparently. None of us are coping very well though since we don’t have air con, ha ha. It was literally so hot though that I just threw anything on that was cool enough to wear. I wore my old Black All Saints Shorts, my H&M Bow Tank Top, my New Look Black & Gold Sandals, my Marc by Marc Jacobs Pink and Rose Gold Henry Skeleton Watch, my Leghila Neon Yellow Bag and my beautiful Ray-Ban Green Mirrored Aviators. I got sent these sunglasses by Sunglasses Shop before I went away to Italy. I took them with me as I am sure you have seen on my Instagram (@LornaRaindrops) and I love them. They are equal favourites to my blue mirrored lenses though! I adore both of the pretty colours as they make my outfits sparkle and add more colour to my face. I love the fact that they can also look like they were Photoshopped in because of how mirrored and reflective they are. If you have been considering getting any of the Ray-Ban mirrored aviators, I recommend you do as you wont regret it! Next on my list is the red mirrored lens from them, those are even prettier!…
