My New Calvin Klein Sunglasses

Calvin Klein Sunglasses Review It’s no secret to any of you that I love sunglasses, having amassed a collection of many pairs over the years, and as summer is fast approaching, I have been adding some more to my selection. These are the gorgeous Calvin Klein sunglasses that I got from Voguespex. I’ve never tried this brand before, so when I saw how beautiful these were with a very classic shape and brown hue to them, I knew they would be perfect. I’m usually a fan of aviator frames as you know, and most recently got into rounded lenses too, but these Calvin Klein sunglasses mix a combination of both with gradient brown plastic frames. I’m quite into the plastic frames as I find them to be a lot more durable than the wire ones sometimes. They have a bridge of 17mm, the lens width is 57mm, and the temple length is 140mm, making them about a medium/large frame for my face, which is just how I like it. Since these sunglasses are a different shape to my usual and trying a new brand like Calvin Klein was a bit daunting at first, I’m so happy I got these. They frame my face perfectly and suit me really well. You are definitely going to be seeing these on me in numerous outfit posts to come in the near future, that’s for sure! I had to wear them with Adam’s Calvin Klein cap though as the wind here has been crazy lately, blowing my hair everywhere, but you will definitely see them without the hat soon too. The best part about…

My Love For Sunglasses

I know some of you might be thinking ‘why is she writing about sunglasses when it’s Christmas?’ and I can tell you, that’s because I’m always thinking about what new pair will be perfect for the coming Summer! I’m sure most of you know (if you’ve followed me for years) that I have quite a collection of sunglasses, ranging from high street brands to designers like Prada and Ray-Ban, with Ray-Ban being the brand that I own the most of (somewhere around 10 pairs!) and I can still never get enough! I never used to like sunglasses all that much when I was younger as I couldn’t find ones that suited my face, but then I came across the aviator style and it was perfect, so much so that I own quite a few different colours in the aviator frame. I’ve since branched out and tried rounder lenses as well as angled cat eye styles and I adore them. I never knew how much I would like all these different sunglasses frames, which is why I have ended up with so many. I’ve put some of my favourite pairs in this blog post from previous outfit posts, so you can see how I wore them, plus I’ve included a wish list for Summer which you can see just below! I hope you like it!   FENDI | OXYDO | MARC JACOBS | ILLUMINATI I was recently introduced to Perfect Glasses so I’m excited to collaborate with them on this blog post. Not only do they stock a great selection of branded frames, they also have their own regular glasses as…

It’s All About The Cactus Shirt

The Topshop Cactus Shirt With Skinny Jeans You have probably guessed (if you follow me on social media) that I love plants, especially cacti, so when I came across this Topshop Cactus Print Shirt, I literally HAD to have it, without question. Isn’t it so cute? It’s one of my favourite shirts that I own now and I’ve already worn it numerous times. It’s a viscose blend, so it’s really soft and comfortable, but it’s slightly oversized too so it’s breezy. It made the perfect shirt to wear on holiday in St. Ives when the temperature had dropped a little bit. I could honestly have this Topshop Cactus Shirt in a size UK 6, which is my normal size, but they only had an 8 and I liked the looser fit of it, so opted for that one instead. I chose to pair my Cactus Shirt with my trusty Citizens of Humanity Rocket Jeans in Spritz which I pretty much live in. I thought the classic blue denim combination with the shirt would be ideal. Now when it comes to shoes, I tend to suffer blisters a lot because I have such delicate skin, but I haven’t really ever gotten on with mules or backless shoes because they can be quite tight across the tops of my feet due to my higher arches, so when I saw these¬†Jenni Kayne Suede Mules in Saddle online, I thought they would be absolutely perfect. Not only are they a really comfortable suede, but they have elastic inserts on them too so that when you walk, they stretch with your foot and don’t cut…

Summer Floral Playsuit

Pretty floral playsuit in the countryside I’m so excited to finally say that Summer seems to be here! It’s been so hot and it meant I was able to wear something that I haven’t in a long while, my floral playsuit from Lipsy. I’ve loved this one for years as I find it incredibly flattering for a playsuit since it has a belted waist and a cross over top half, which is ideal for my body shape. It’s made of a really lightweight jersey material too, so it’s easy breezy! I wore it for some time out in the countryside, which is one of my favourite spots on Earth. I find it so relaxing, calming and grounding there and it helps keep me centered. Isn’t it beautiful? I paired my floral playsuit with my Valentino Rockstud City Sandals to add a little bit of glam to it, while keeping it casual. For my accessories, I went with a La Redoute floppy sun hat (similar), which I’m loving right now, my Our Theory Of watch and my new TRIWA round frame sunglasses. I have been addicted to these sunglasses! I never knew that I suited round frames as I’ve always worn the aviator style, but I think they are beautiful! For my necklace, I wore my new Topshop scented pineapple which had a scratch and sniff cardboard background to it, it’s so cute! Anyway, what do you think of my outfit? I always love to hear your opinions! What I Was Wearing: Playsuit – Lipsy (similar) Sandals – Valentino Hat – La Redoute (similar) Watch – Our Theory Of Sunglasses –…

Christian Dior MetalEyes 2 Sunglasses Review

Christian Dior MetalEyes 2 Sunglasses in Havana Black If you have followed my fashion blog for some time now, you will probably know that I have a love for Ray-Ban sunglasses, especially with mirrored lenses. I think I am close to owning 15 pairs of Ray-Ban, so I thought it was about time that I branched out and tried something different! That’s where these Christian Dior MetalEyes 2 Sunglasses in Havana come in! Aren’t they just gorgeous? I got these Christian Dior sunglasses from OCO Glasses and I’m really glad that I did. Not only are they gorgeous, but the box that they came in is beautiful too. It’s a white rectangular cube with criss-cross detailing over it which opens and closes with a magnetic flap. Inside is a dainty little dust bag to keep the sunglasses in and obviously the frames themselves. It’s really nice to own something unique like this and with expert detailing in the packaging as well. The frames themselves are different to what I’m used to as well, I’m very much used to the classic aviator shape and these are more of a twist on the cat eye and square lenses. They aren’t too big or too small for my face and they sit really nicely too, which is a bonus. I love comfortable sunglasses that don’t slip down and these are just right. I think this frame shape on these sunglasses is so unique and edgy, it brings such a different look to my face which I actually really love! The plastic on the arms and around the lenses is quite dark, so you…

An Easy Going Look On The Beach

A comfortable and casual look for exploring the beach I have this last set of photos from my holiday to St. Ives in June that I wanted to finally share with you. It basically sums up a lot of what Adam and I spent doing on the beach… exploring. We loved looking around the cliffs and rocks, finding rock pools and interesting creatures, just generally looking around and finding out new things! I never personally see the point of going on holiday and only staying within the resort when you have so much to see! Since we were off on our adventures, a comfortable outfit was definitely in need and this is what I wore for those days. My vintage Levi’s denim shorts with a grey ASOS tee, finished with my New Balance 410 sneakers/trainers in Sonic Navy. Of course my Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAB Backpack in White was in need to carry all of my things around and my Ray-Ban Aviators in Mirror Pink to keep the sun out of my eyes. The views and scenery in St. Ives were the most beautiful I have seen in some time. I’m so used to countryside fields and forests, so seeing a beach and ocean so blue with cliffs was definitely amazing. I really can’t wait to go back there! I’ve included some more scenery photos that we took as well, so you can truly see the beauty of it. I definitely recommend St. Ives if you like the idea of quiet little old fashioned towns as it’s not a party place. I hope you enjoy these photos! (Shorts – Exact,…

A White Dress On A Blue Beach

A white Grecian style dress on the beach Another set of photos from St. Ives to share with you! Firstly though, I wanted to say thank you so much for the support you gave me in my previous post about the M.E. I honestly wasn’t expecting to get such a good response from it, but it’s had over 700 views already in 2 days and lots and lots of supportive comments. It really makes me happy to be able to spread awareness about it and share something personal with you all. So getting to my outfit, this is a look that I wore on the first day that we went to the beach on holiday. I didn’t realise at the time, but the sun is so strong there that it did actually turn my skin a shade of pink which I can now see on the photos. It’s crazy how just going a little further south can intensify it that much! I was wearing my Zara Grecian style dress that I have had for a couple of years and just teamed it with some colour from my Ray-Ban mirror pink aviators and then I wore my Olivia Burton butterfly watch. It’s just a really simple look as it was so hot and I was barefoot on the sand, which even with my germ problems, I actually quite enjoyed! I was thinking the other day, it’s been a really long time since I got a new watch. There’s so many ladies designer watches, like these from Tesco, out and about that it is hard to choose, especially since I have quite…

Sunsets On The Beach

A flowing black dress on the beach Here’s one of the first sets of photos that we shot on the beach in St. Ives a couple of weeks ago. I’m sure you already know by now after seeing my St. Ives photos, just how gorgeous of a location it was, so shooting a look on the beach was an honour! I’ve never really done beach locations before due to where I live and not being anywhere near, so doing something different like this was fantastic. We made sure we were approaching the golden hour in the evening too, just as the sun was setting so that the lighting was perfect, with that gorgeous glow. I think I can safely say that these are some of my favourite photos we have ever shot! In terms of my outfit, I can’t say that I was wearing many pieces as I only had on my RARE Hi Lo dress which is one of my favourites, my Olivia Burton butterfly watch and my Ray-Ban mirror pink aviator sunglasses. I didn’t have any shoes on as I wanted to really embrace the beach living, including having air dried hair all day to really get that beach waves look. Unfortunately the sea was freezing at that time in the evening though so I didn’t take many photos in it, but we did get a couple! After this set, I still have two more looks that we shot on holiday, so I can’t wait to share those with you this week! I truly can’t wait to go back to St. Ives and I really hope you like…
