That Wrap Red Dress

The French Connection Red Wrap Dress For those of you who saw my trip to Clarks Village blog post, you will remember this Red Wrap Dress that I picked up from French Connection as it seemed to be the star piece of the day! Of course I decided to style it the day after as we were amidst a heat wave, so it couldn’t have come at a more perfect time – it was meant to be! Honestly, I couldn’t wait to wear the dress, and I was excited to see how I wanted to style it for the first outing. I went with my Jimmy Choo Melba Boots and my Gucci Marmont Velvet Mini Bag in Black, as I think red and black together are really striking. I also chose my Ray-Ban Round Double Bridge Mirrored Sunglasses, and a gold watch. I of course matched a bold red lip to the dress as well, as it wouldn’t be complete without that. My favourite thing about this French Connection Red Dress is the colour and print of it. I’m always a fan of a wrap dress as I find them extremely flattering to an hourglass silhouette, and the bold, ruffle sleeves really help to hide your upper arms if your conscious about them. The deep neckline is really pretty, which coupled with the length of the dress is really modest. I cant fault it really! I’m usually a size UK 8 – 10 in my clothes, sometimes a 6, however I had to take a size UK 12 in this French Connection dress as it ran a bit smaller around…

How To Wear Green Skinny Jeans

Green Skinny Jeans With White Loafers As you all know, I’m not usually one to stick to specific seasonal clothing, so if I want to wear something and the temperature is accommodating, I will. This is one of those outfits. I know light greens and whites are usually reserved for spring (spring greens), but I wanted to wear the combination as we almost transition into the autumn. The reason being, I bought these Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop Skinny Jeans in Canopy Green a few months ago just before the heat wave and I never got to wear them, which was such a shame as I was desperate to! I love the gorgeous shade of green that they are as it’s not too feminine or cute, or too masculine, it’s perfect! Plus, the Rocket Crop is my favourite jeans cut there is, so they’re a win, win pair of jeans for me! To make it a little more suitable for cooler weather, I styled these jeans with my Allsaints Manson Knitted Tank Top as the Porcelain White shade was perfect to keep things light. As for the footwear, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to wear Chelsea boots or something brown, but as soon as I saw my Sam Edelman Linnie White Mules sitting on my shelf, I thought they might actually be perfect, and they were! I think they help to keep the look casual and youthful, but still classy and put together. Plus, these Sam Edelman loafers are a great alternative to Gucci. Now getting to my accessories, my bag that I was wearing is my Mulberry Small…

Summer Raincoat Style

The Clear Raincoat With Ankle Rain Boots It’s been a little while since I shared any rainwear outfits with you, for obvious reasons, but I’ve been keeping these photos in stock for a little while! This is the outfit that I wore in June when it was showering off and on all day, but it was too hot for full wellies or a thick coat, so I thought I would go for a summer raincoat style instead! I’m glad that it’s been raining more lately, I even have a brand new raincoat to share with you soon when it cools down, so stay tuned for that! This clear raincoat is from Zara and I actually bought it in the winter time, around Christmas, and kept it for the warmer months. It’s got a milkiness to it so it’s not entirely see though, but what attracted me to it was the red, yellow and blue piping on the edges. I think it makes it so unique and cool, giving it more of a luxurious feel when it was actually super cheap! It folds up super small so it’s a coat I take out with me often as it’s so lightweight. I even took it to Lyme Regis! I decided to style my Zara raincoat with my Topshop grey skinny jeans and a black GAP top to make a comfortable and casual base. Then, as I needed waterproof footwear, I opted for my Hunter Refined Chelsea Boots in Slate. You have seen these a couple of times before (here and here) and they’re one of my favourite pairs of wellies to wear…

The Red Polka Dot Top

The Oasis Red Polka Dot Top Outfit Happy Friday everyone! I can’t believe how quickly this week has gone by! It’s been crazy! First of all, I want to apologise for my hair in these photos, we shot them when a storm had come in and it was the first rain and wind we had had in weeks, which I welcomed with open arms, but I didn’t anticipate how much it would wreck my hair, ha ha. We actually spent four times as long trying to get these photos as every other second my top was blowing up, my hair was in my face… but there’s nothing like a challenge and I think they turned out ok by the shelter of the buildings. For this outfit, I was actually excited about wearing jeans again! I chose to wear my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop Jeans in All Black as they make a great base for classic looks. I wanted to make it bright and fun though so I styled them with my Oasis Polka Dot Red Top, which I think is really pretty! I just ordered it online to try and it turned out to be wonderful. I added a little leg lengthening with my Schutz Rashne Sandals, and then gave it some edge with my Gucci GG Belt. I like how different this belt makes certain outfits, it really changes them up. I also chose my Valentino Lock Back in Ivory, and for the accessories chose my Mondaine Red Watch and a very special necklace. I wanted a separate paragraph for this necklace as it’s unique and has a…

The Beautiful Coast Cherry Birthday Dress

Coast Cherry Embroidered Dress For My 30th Birthday Thank you for all of your lovely comments on my blog post about turning 30, you’re all really kind and I’m so lucky to have readers like you, so I can’t thank you enough! Today is my actual birthday, I’m 30 today, and while I already said everything I had to in the previous post, I wanted to round that out by saying I’m very excited for my 30’s, I’m in a great place, a better one than I could have imagined, and everyone is telling me how good the 30’s are due to still be younger, but much more full of wisdom, and so far, I can see how that’s true. I’m really looking forward to what’s to come! Now getting to my outfit, this is the dress I decided to choose for my birthday outfit! It’s the Coast Embroidered Cherry Hi Low Dress and it’s literally stunning! I saw it a couple of months ago and completely fell in love with the chic design. I’ve always liked Coast as they make some great dresses (do you remember this one, this one, and this one?) and you can’t really go wrong with them for special occasions. What made it even better is that it was in the sale with 50% off, plus I had an extra 20% off from a discount code, so I count that as a steal! Since this Cherry Embroidered Dress is the focal point, I just went with a simple nude heel, my mystic topaz earrings that my mum bought me back from St. Ives, and a…

Roses And Playsuits

Back Playsuits & Pretty Roses I know my recent outfits are causing a divide between some of you, ha ha. I’ve had numerous comments on my social media about me constantly wearing playsuits or dresses, and most of you miss the denim, but trust me, it’s not by choice. Since us Brits are used to cold, wet, grey weather for 90% of the year, it means I can usually always wear jeans, however we are having a crazy summer and it’s been about 30C since the beginning of June now, and since I can’t regulate my temperature, I have to wear as little clothing as possible, which is why my playsuits and dresses are serving me so well at the moment. I miss my jeans as much as you do, and I’m longing for Autumn so that I can wear them again. I miss all of my layering outfits, especially my jackets! I did wear white jeans with a floral top in my last outfit post, which we shot in the evening, but even that was uncomfortable for me, so I am doing my best! Hopefully you can come to love my summer style as something additional and different to what you’re used to! Now that’s out of the way, for this outfit on a day that was 31C, I kept it as simple as I possibly could. I wore my H&M Black Playsuit as it’s made from the thinnest cotton and is really breezy, I styled it with my Moschino Bear Slides, then finished it off with my Valentino Lock Bag in Ivory, and a pair of Ray-Ban Rainbow…

Coast Harrison Bardot Top With White Jeans

Coast Harrison Bardot Top With White Skinny Jeans Happy Monday everyone! I feel like this weekend has flown by, but it’s been extremely busy. On Thursday I was helping Adam with a work photo shoot, which was amazing, but extremely tiring, then Friday was resting. Saturday was cleaning and tidying up, then doing some more on Sunday. It may seem like normal things, but I’ve been so tired and feeling sick from doing too much that I have been welcoming the working week, minus the heat. One thing I do like about summer though is the pretty orange glow you get from the sun in the evenings – the golden hour. It creates such beauty in photos that I am extremely excited to be sharing this set with you that Adam and I shot a couple of weekends ago. How pretty is the background? Shot at a local farm, I think the sun shining off of the wheat fields was stunning! Now getting to the outfit, I had been planning something like this for a while and I’m so glad I got to do it in the perfect setting with the right weather. It was of course hot, and I was sweltering wearing jeans, but for the art of fashion, that’s just something you have to do! This beautiful statement top is the COAST Harrison Floral Print Bardot Top and I actually ordered it on a whim, thinking I wouldn’t keep it, but as soon as I put it on, I fell in love. Even Adam said he adored it (more than I did) so that’s how I know it’s…

Can I Have Some Privacy Please

Privacy Please Troy Mini Dress Outfit I wanted to start of by saying thank you so much for the enormous support regarding my last post on 10 Ehlers Danlos Syndrome Life Hacks! It’s had thousands of views already and has been shared around many places, and lots of people have found it helpful for their own symptoms, or commented on the shares with their own tips, which I am really pleased about! I’m so glad I’m able to help others going through the same as me. I’m really struggling with regulating my temperature at the moment though and have been suffering a lot with the heat, especially on Saturday when we shot these photos, I couldn’t stop sweating in the restaurant and by the evening, my legs had swollen up and I couldn’t move them for hours while they ached in pain. I’m doing ok though, I’m managing everything. Now as I’m excited about this post, I will get to it! I couldn’t resist the word play on this title! What I am wearing here is the Privacy Please Troy Mini Dress in Kristina Floral, so obviously I would want to make a joke as the title! It’s such a cool name for a brand after all… What first attracted me to this dress was the sleeves as they hang over the tops of the arms, and secondly is was the colour palette. I usually always wear warm tones, especially when it comes to prints, so choosing a dress with only blue, green, and yellow in it was completely new to me. Oh what a sheltered life I have lived!…
