Palm Print Summer Shorts Outfit

Palm Print Shorts With A Green Outfit These photos were taken when there was a break in the rain at Lyme Regis, and I love how they turned out actually. Instead of using the beach for these ones, I wanted to find a place that showcased all the beauty that is nature, and there’s lots of it. After rain, everything always looks more plush and green, and I thought that would make a great backdrop to this outfit, which is mostly green and white, giving it a fresh, clean feel to it. I don’t usually have a lot of green in my photos these days as I tend to favour the more city scenery, or oranges, but this is refreshing! For this outfit, I wore a pair of Palm Print Shorts from H&M, paired with a Mango Knitted Tank Top, and layered my H&M Khaki Green Cardigan over the top. I hadn’t actually planned on wearing this cardigan much as it was just for the chillier days, but I wore it every day and it ended up matching this look perfectly, which I love. I finished it off with my Sam Edelman White Loafers, to give it a little more classiness, and then added in my Loefller Randall Louise Basket Bag. I got this a few months ago and due to the weather, hadn’t had any time to wear it, which is why I took it to Lyme Regis and wore it every day I was there. It’s actually so useful and so easy to carry, as it’s super lightweight on its own. Then finally, my necklace is also by…

A China Blue Floral Playsuit Outfit

A Blue China Print Playsuit Outfit On the first day when we got to Lyme Regis, after travelling for a good few hours, we changed at the hotel and headed down to the beach as the tide was out. This section of Lyme Regis is truly stunning as you are left with so many rocks and pebbles along the cliffs edge, which has rock pools and fossils, with the most amazing backdrop that reminds me of parts of Canada. For my outfit that you can see here, I was wearing a new blue China printed playsuit that I got from H&M, which I styled with my Sam Edelman White Loafers, my Cambridge Satchel Small Emily in French Grey, and my Rado Centrix Open Heart Skeleton Watch. Now you might remember this playsuit from my Currently Craving Wish List from earlier this month, but it’s also the exact same fit and style as my red one that I was living in last year. I don’t wear a lot of blue as you know, but I’m embracing it a lot more now as I actually really like it, and I adore the pairing of it with the bag. Playsuits are something that I live in during the warmer months, and I’ve actually picked up about 6 new ones, both from H&M and Mango, which I can’t wait to share with you over this summer! I love the fact that they’re so easy and simple to style because you only have to think about the accessories instead of pairing clothing pieces together, which is ideal. Anyway, please let me know what you think of…

A Beautiful Pastel Blue Summer Dress

A Beautiful Baby Blue Dress From Yumi Happy Friday everyone! I hope you have a fun weekend ahead! For those of you who have been following my trip to Clarks Village posts and watched the stories on my Instagram (see them here) you might remember this gorgeous Light Blue Yumi Dress! It was the first dress that I saw and fell in love with when I was at the shopping outlet, and I couldn’t believe the price as it was knocked down to just £16! They also had a pale pink and a pale yellow, but the baby blue was a shade that caught my eye, and since I don’t wear much blue at all (outside of denim anyway) I was mesmerised by it and knew I would love to style it. I took a size 10 in this Yumi Dress and it fits perfectly! I love the striped net that it has on the outside, and the separate petticoat underneath, which really adds to the look. I feel like this is the perfect summer dress to wear to a friends wedding or to a garden party, as it’s smart and classic, but also youthful and fun at the same time. Obviously it’s not available online as it’s past season, but I have included a few different blue dresses from Yumi as alternative options for you! I decided to style this dress with my Gucci Dionysus Bag and a pair of Topshop Wedges that I have had for years, in a complementary shade to give me some height. For the accessories, I chose the Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses in Mirrored Blue…

That Wrap Red Dress

The French Connection Red Wrap Dress For those of you who saw my trip to Clarks Village blog post, you will remember this Red Wrap Dress that I picked up from French Connection as it seemed to be the star piece of the day! Of course I decided to style it the day after as we were amidst a heat wave, so it couldn’t have come at a more perfect time – it was meant to be! Honestly, I couldn’t wait to wear the dress, and I was excited to see how I wanted to style it for the first outing. I went with my Jimmy Choo Melba Boots and my Gucci Marmont Velvet Mini Bag in Black, as I think red and black together are really striking. I also chose my Ray-Ban Round Double Bridge Mirrored Sunglasses, and a gold watch. I of course matched a bold red lip to the dress as well, as it wouldn’t be complete without that. My favourite thing about this French Connection Red Dress is the colour and print of it. I’m always a fan of a wrap dress as I find them extremely flattering to an hourglass silhouette, and the bold, ruffle sleeves really help to hide your upper arms if your conscious about them. The deep neckline is really pretty, which coupled with the length of the dress is really modest. I cant fault it really! I’m usually a size UK 8 – 10 in my clothes, sometimes a 6, however I had to take a size UK 12 in this French Connection dress as it ran a bit smaller around…

How To Wear Green Skinny Jeans

Green Skinny Jeans With White Loafers As you all know, I’m not usually one to stick to specific seasonal clothing, so if I want to wear something and the temperature is accommodating, I will. This is one of those outfits. I know light greens and whites are usually reserved for spring (spring greens), but I wanted to wear the combination as we almost transition into the autumn. The reason being, I bought these Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop Skinny Jeans in Canopy Green a few months ago just before the heat wave and I never got to wear them, which was such a shame as I was desperate to! I love the gorgeous shade of green that they are as it’s not too feminine or cute, or too masculine, it’s perfect! Plus, the Rocket Crop is my favourite jeans cut there is, so they’re a win, win pair of jeans for me! To make it a little more suitable for cooler weather, I styled these jeans with my Allsaints Manson Knitted Tank Top as the Porcelain White shade was perfect to keep things light. As for the footwear, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to wear Chelsea boots or something brown, but as soon as I saw my Sam Edelman Linnie White Mules sitting on my shelf, I thought they might actually be perfect, and they were! I think they help to keep the look casual and youthful, but still classy and put together. Plus, these Sam Edelman loafers are a great alternative to Gucci. Now getting to my accessories, my bag that I was wearing is my Mulberry Small…

Summer Raincoat Style

The Clear Raincoat With Ankle Rain Boots It’s been a little while since I shared any rainwear outfits with you, for obvious reasons, but I’ve been keeping these photos in stock for a little while! This is the outfit that I wore in June when it was showering off and on all day, but it was too hot for full wellies or a thick coat, so I thought I would go for a summer raincoat style instead! I’m glad that it’s been raining more lately, I even have a brand new raincoat to share with you soon when it cools down, so stay tuned for that! This clear raincoat is from Zara and I actually bought it in the winter time, around Christmas, and kept it for the warmer months. It’s got a milkiness to it so it’s not entirely see though, but what attracted me to it was the red, yellow and blue piping on the edges. I think it makes it so unique and cool, giving it more of a luxurious feel when it was actually super cheap! It folds up super small so it’s a coat I take out with me often as it’s so lightweight. I even took it to Lyme Regis! I decided to style my Zara raincoat with my Topshop grey skinny jeans and a black GAP top to make a comfortable and casual base. Then, as I needed waterproof footwear, I opted for my Hunter Refined Chelsea Boots in Slate. You have seen these a couple of times before (here and here) and they’re one of my favourite pairs of wellies to wear…

The Red Polka Dot Top

The Oasis Red Polka Dot Top Outfit Happy Friday everyone! I can’t believe how quickly this week has gone by! It’s been crazy! First of all, I want to apologise for my hair in these photos, we shot them when a storm had come in and it was the first rain and wind we had had in weeks, which I welcomed with open arms, but I didn’t anticipate how much it would wreck my hair, ha ha. We actually spent four times as long trying to get these photos as every other second my top was blowing up, my hair was in my face… but there’s nothing like a challenge and I think they turned out ok by the shelter of the buildings. For this outfit, I was actually excited about wearing jeans again! I chose to wear my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop Jeans in All Black as they make a great base for classic looks. I wanted to make it bright and fun though so I styled them with my Oasis Polka Dot Red Top, which I think is really pretty! I just ordered it online to try and it turned out to be wonderful. I added a little leg lengthening with my Schutz Rashne Sandals, and then gave it some edge with my Gucci GG Belt. I like how different this belt makes certain outfits, it really changes them up. I also chose my Valentino Lock Back in Ivory, and for the accessories chose my Mondaine Red Watch and a very special necklace. I wanted a separate paragraph for this necklace as it’s unique and has a…

The Beautiful Coast Cherry Birthday Dress

Coast Cherry Embroidered Dress For My 30th Birthday Thank you for all of your lovely comments on my blog post about turning 30, you’re all really kind and I’m so lucky to have readers like you, so I can’t thank you enough! Today is my actual birthday, I’m 30 today, and while I already said everything I had to in the previous post, I wanted to round that out by saying I’m very excited for my 30’s, I’m in a great place, a better one than I could have imagined, and everyone is telling me how good the 30’s are due to still be younger, but much more full of wisdom, and so far, I can see how that’s true. I’m really looking forward to what’s to come! Now getting to my outfit, this is the dress I decided to choose for my birthday outfit! It’s the Coast Embroidered Cherry Hi Low Dress and it’s literally stunning! I saw it a couple of months ago and completely fell in love with the chic design. I’ve always liked Coast as they make some great dresses (do you remember this one, this one, and this one?) and you can’t really go wrong with them for special occasions. What made it even better is that it was in the sale with 50% off, plus I had an extra 20% off from a discount code, so I count that as a steal! Since this Cherry Embroidered Dress is the focal point, I just went with a simple nude heel, my mystic topaz earrings that my mum bought me back from St. Ives, and a…
