The Topshop Burgundy Leather Skirt Outfit

A Burgundy Leather Skirt With Golden Goose I hope you all had a nice weekend! We shot these photos on Saturday and it was one of the worst days for weather, ha ha. One moment it was raining, then sunny, then windy, then rainy… It was on and off like that all day, but I wasn’t going to let it stop me from wearing this outfit that I had planned. I was wearing a Goonies t-shirt that I chose from Truffle Shuffle again (the same place that I got my Guns N’ Roses tee from) but I decided to pair it with this Topshop Burgundy Faux Leather Skirt. Remember I showed this to you in my July update post, well I thought it would be a very good skirt to dress down with my Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers as well, to keep everything really casual. I often find that leather skirts can come with a stigma, or be seen as a little trashy sometimes, but I purely think it depends on the styling and how you wear them. I love a combination like this as it makes it suitable for the daytime, and that’s what I went with. For the accessories, I went with my Saint Laurent New Wave Sunglasses, and some simple jewellery pieces on my wrist to tie it together. Despite these sunglasses being quite unique and statement, I actually find myself reaching for them all the time as they really make an outfit pop. I know I’m not wearing them here, and they’re hooked onto my t-shirt, but even that adds a different element to an outfit.…

McQueen Kind Of Scene

How I Styled My Alexander McQueen Sneakers A comfortable and casual look here, one that I’ve been gravitating towards on the cooler days. You might recognise the above photo from my Alexander McQueen oversized sneakers review that I did a couple of weeks ago, and this was actually from the first time wearing them out. I’m still very much obsessed with them and can’t be without them now! I paired them with my trusty L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite again, since I wear these with everything, and wore a white H&M Tank Top, my ASOS Western Belt, and my Saint Laurent Nano Sac de Jour in Grey and their New Wave Sunglasses. I know you can’t exactly class this outfit as extremely stylish or fashionable, and in truth, most of what I wear doesn’t fall into that category, but I do like being able to put pieces together to create outfits, even if they are casual and simple like this. I’ve got so many other outfits planned with these Alexander McQueen sneakers too, I can’t wait to show you all! Anyway, I’m keeping this post short! Let me know what you think of my outfit and I hope you have a lovely weekend ahead! Lorna xx. *This post contains affiliate links to help keep this blog running.

Linen Shorts & A Leather Jacket

A White Leather Jacket With Linen Shorts Outfit As I’m sitting here writing this blog post, looking out the window and looking at the sun, I really feel that it’s summer now. There’s been some beautiful sunsets lately and I’m enjoying that golden glow that spreads across the fields. When I look back at these photos that we shot in Lyme Regis almost 1 month ago, it’s crazy how quickly the time has gone by and how much I miss the scenery there. The Jurassic Coast is one of the most beautiful places, even when it’s raining, so I could definitely see myself moving down that way when the time is right, to be around a more scenic environment. Isn’t it just beautiful? These photos were shot at around 8pm on one of the evenings when the rain had cleared up, and the blue of it was very intense, which I think contrasts off the orange pebbles beautifully. For my outfit, I wore a pair of Mango Linen Striped Beige Shorts that I bought a couple of months ago in their outlet for a bargain price, and paired them with a Mango Strappy Top too. As you can tell, I’m really loving their clothes at the moment, and the fact that these shorts have a paper bag style to them and a tie waist, which makes them really flattering. I also layered on my Allsaints Dalby Leather Jacket in White over the shoulders, to keep the chill at bay and paired these neutral tones with my Sam Edelman White Loafers. I have this leather jacket in blush pink and I…

The Palm Print Playsuit Outfit

The Palm Print Playsuit Outfit You know the summer is here when I start rocking the playsuits! Ha ha. Like last year when I was living in them, I’m kind of doing the same this year, but I’ve bought a lot of different versions, as I mentioned. One of my new ones is this gorgeous H&M Palm Print Playsuit and it’s so comfortable! Most of my new ones are from H&M and they only cost £12.99 at retail, so you can’t really go wrong! I always find it’s about how you style the high street pieces that makes it look expensive or really put together, which is why I always invest more in my accessories instead! To complete this H&M Playsuit, I wore my new Mulberry Small Darley in Rosewater (the one I picked up in the Factory outlet on the way back from Lyme Regis), I also chose my Rebecca Minkoff Pink Mules, some simple gold jewellery (the bracelet is here and the necklace is here), and a pair of the Saint Laurent Jerry Sunglasses that I’m wearing here. I mixed light pinks and black to complement the playsuit colour palette, and I really like how it turned out. You might have noticed that I went for something a bit different with my hair too, I went for a loose braid! Anyway, I’m keeping this blog post short, but let me know what you think, as always! A Blue Skinny Jeans Moment

I’m Back In My Blue Jeans! It feels crazy writing this, but I’m actually back in blue jeans! I haven’t worn blue jeans in so long, I think the last time I did was when it was snowing (in this post) and that was back in February! Honestly you can expect to see them a lot more now as this new pair is a pair I am absolutely in love with! Aren’t they just stunning? They’re L’AGENCE Margot since I am obsessed with that cut, in the wash called Cascade (see here), and even though it’s not got a lot of depth to the blue, the fit makes up for that! They’re one of my most flattering jeans I think, and the back pockets are perfect. For this outfit, I styled these L’AGENCE Margot Jeans with my Mango Knitted Top, my Gucci GG Belt in Brown, my Sam Edelman Loafers in White and my Loeffler Randall Louise Basket Bag. For my Sunglasses, they are by Ray-Ban, my watch is my RADO Open Heart Skeleton Watch, and my jewellery is from Mango as well. It was a really simple and casual look that I wore on the beach in Lyme Regis. I really love the pebble beaches as they offer such a different look to the traditional sandy beaches, which I think is great for photos! Plus, we shot these pictures in the evening between 8-9pm, so it had a beautiful glow in the air without the harsh sunlight, which always adds a majestic vibe. Anyway, as always, I want to know what you think of my outfit and the photos!…

Palm Print Summer Shorts Outfit

Palm Print Shorts With A Green Outfit These photos were taken when there was a break in the rain at Lyme Regis, and I love how they turned out actually. Instead of using the beach for these ones, I wanted to find a place that showcased all the beauty that is nature, and there’s lots of it. After rain, everything always looks more plush and green, and I thought that would make a great backdrop to this outfit, which is mostly green and white, giving it a fresh, clean feel to it. I don’t usually have a lot of green in my photos these days as I tend to favour the more city scenery, or oranges, but this is refreshing! For this outfit, I wore a pair of Palm Print Shorts from H&M, paired with a Mango Knitted Tank Top, and layered my H&M Khaki Green Cardigan over the top. I hadn’t actually planned on wearing this cardigan much as it was just for the chillier days, but I wore it every day and it ended up matching this look perfectly, which I love. I finished it off with my Sam Edelman White Loafers, to give it a little more classiness, and then added in my Loefller Randall Louise Basket Bag. I got this a few months ago and due to the weather, hadn’t had any time to wear it, which is why I took it to Lyme Regis and wore it every day I was there. It’s actually so useful and so easy to carry, as it’s super lightweight on its own. Then finally, my necklace is also by…

A China Blue Floral Playsuit Outfit

A Blue China Print Playsuit Outfit On the first day when we got to Lyme Regis, after travelling for a good few hours, we changed at the hotel and headed down to the beach as the tide was out. This section of Lyme Regis is truly stunning as you are left with so many rocks and pebbles along the cliffs edge, which has rock pools and fossils, with the most amazing backdrop that reminds me of parts of Canada. For my outfit that you can see here, I was wearing a new blue China printed playsuit that I got from H&M, which I styled with my Sam Edelman White Loafers, my Cambridge Satchel Small Emily in French Grey, and my Rado Centrix Open Heart Skeleton Watch. Now you might remember this playsuit from my Currently Craving Wish List from earlier this month, but it’s also the exact same fit and style as my red one that I was living in last year. I don’t wear a lot of blue as you know, but I’m embracing it a lot more now as I actually really like it, and I adore the pairing of it with the bag. Playsuits are something that I live in during the warmer months, and I’ve actually picked up about 6 new ones, both from H&M and Mango, which I can’t wait to share with you over this summer! I love the fact that they’re so easy and simple to style because you only have to think about the accessories instead of pairing clothing pieces together, which is ideal. Anyway, please let me know what you think of…

A Beautiful Pastel Blue Summer Dress

A Beautiful Baby Blue Dress From Yumi Happy Friday everyone! I hope you have a fun weekend ahead! For those of you who have been following my trip to Clarks Village posts and watched the stories on my Instagram (see them here) you might remember this gorgeous Light Blue Yumi Dress! It was the first dress that I saw and fell in love with when I was at the shopping outlet, and I couldn’t believe the price as it was knocked down to just £16! They also had a pale pink and a pale yellow, but the baby blue was a shade that caught my eye, and since I don’t wear much blue at all (outside of denim anyway) I was mesmerised by it and knew I would love to style it. I took a size 10 in this Yumi Dress and it fits perfectly! I love the striped net that it has on the outside, and the separate petticoat underneath, which really adds to the look. I feel like this is the perfect summer dress to wear to a friends wedding or to a garden party, as it’s smart and classic, but also youthful and fun at the same time. Obviously it’s not available online as it’s past season, but I have included a few different blue dresses from Yumi as alternative options for you! I decided to style this dress with my Gucci Dionysus Bag and a pair of Topshop Wedges that I have had for years, in a complementary shade to give me some height. For the accessories, I chose the Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses in Mirrored Blue…
