Styling A Nasa Cap With Gucci Accessories

A Gucci Belt & Bag Styled With A Black Outfit Happy Saturday everyone! I finally watched Avengers: Infinity War yesterday as I usually wait a week or so to limit the crowds, but I still ended up with noisy people in the cinema, being irritating (I seriously hate that!). I wont give out any spoilers, don’t worry! I was avoiding social media all week as I didn’t want to spoil it, but as it turns out, I found some parts of it quite boring and long, but the rest was great. I expected this one to be partly boring due to it building up for part two. But then maybe I just didn’t get enough Cap screen time, ha ha. Has anyone else seen it? Thoughts? For this outfit, I wanted to go for something quite different and mix a few elements into one. I was wearing a Tobi Kari Choker Bodysuit which I paired with my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Jeans in Black Leatherette (seen here), finished with a Gucci GG Belt in Black. I thought this made a great base for the outfit as the different shades of black worked well together, but seamlessly, broken up nicely with the gold buckle on the belt. Then for my accessories, I opted for my Christian Louboutin Pigalle in Black to give my legs some height, then chose my Gucci Marmont Mini GG Back in Black Velvet to match my belt and keep it classy. I finally added in my NASA Cap just to make it a little bit more sporty and casual – I didn’t want it to be too…

The Coral Blazer & Straw Clutch Outfit

The Coral Blazer With Pink Accessories Springtime! I get so excited when I see the blossom out on the trees and the pink hues everywhere. When I take a deep breath and smell freshly cut grass and fragrant scents (before irritating my nose) I feel content and happy inside as Spring is one of my favourite seasons. I know the weather is warm enough to not have to wear a million (or billion) layers, but it’s not so hot that I melt. It’s one of the prettiest seasons, along with Autumn, and I’m happy that it’s finally here. For my outfit, I wanted to wear some bright colours as I’ve been sticking to a lot of neutrals lately in the form of grey, beige or black, so a lively colour palette was so refreshing. I opted to wear my old Topshop Coral Blazer (you’ve seen it here as part of a set) with a beige tank top from River Island. I chose my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop Jeans in All Black to make a great base, then added in my Rebecca Minkoff Mika Mules in Peony Pink (seen here) with my new Rebecca Minkoff Leo Clutch in Pink Straw. I wasn’t sure if the pinks and corals would pair well together, however I liked the contrasting appearance and am happy with how it turned out. I’m sure you may have noticed that I’ve been quite into Rebecca Minkoff lately and am really loving some of her current season pieces. There’s so many cute bags and shoes that I just can’t seem to stop liking. I’ve already got three new…

The Allsaints Blush Pink Leather Jacket Outfit

Allsaints Dalby Leather Jacket in Blush Pink Outfit Is this my first proper Spring outfit of the year? I think it is, and it only took until mid April to get there! We had a heatwave the last few days and then I heard we’re supposed to be getting snow again? What? I’m so confused right now, but I can only hope it’s not true as I’m waiting for the sunshine to fully kick in for good. Enough about the weather though, it’s almost May and I can’t believe we’re so close to being halfway through the year already. It goes too quickly! For my outfit, this is the look that I wore last weekend and I finally got to wear my new Allsaints Dalby Leather Jacket in Blush Pink! I wanted to keep it neutral, but feminine so I went with a Spring colour palette and simple shades to complement. I layered the leather jacket over my River Island Vest Top in Beige (I’ve had this one for years), then chose my Topshop Grey Skinny Jeans to complete the base. Then for the accessories, I went with my Rebecca Minkoff Marina Mules in Peony Pink and my Celine Nano Luggage in Dune. I got these Rebecca Minkoff shoes a couple of weeks ago during the Shopbop sale and I loved them so much that I also got them in red and I can’t get enough of them. They’re so comfortable and easy to wear, plus they look so chic and come with a much cheaper price tag than the Gucci Princetown Loafers that I own and wear. They’re not…

Keeping It Casual In A Calvin Klein Sweatshirt

Calvin Klein Logo Sweatshirt With Skinny Jeans Outfit I’ve noticed lately that I’ve really been gravitating towards grey shades when it comes to putting my outfits together (see here, here and here) and I’m enjoying it. I think grey can often get a bad rep for being bland and dull, however I think it’s one of the most versatile neutrals and when you combine different hues together, it gives off a monochromatic vibe that’s chic, even when casual. Sometimes I do get tired of wearing heels and dressing up fancy, so I enjoy those days where I dress down as well and this look here is a great homage to that. I would wear something like this quite often if I could! A simple sweatshirt, skinny jeans and trainers is key for an easy day, ha ha. So what was I wearing? I wore this Calvin Klein Logo Sweatshirt that I borrowed from Adam and styled it with my Topshop Grey Skinny Jeans, finished off with my Golden Goose Deluxe Brand Trainers and my Saint Laurent Nano Sac de Jour in Grey. I’m not usually into heavily branded logos on my clothes as I’m sure you’ve noticed since a lot of my stuff is plain, but this is a sweatshirt that I adore and it’s so comfortable too with a fuzzy lining, so it’s warm! I will admit that I did have a scarf with this outfit but it was purely to keep me warm as it was a little chilly. Gosh, there’s so many things to update you on! That will be soon, within the next week though and…

The Lace Up Skirt And Boots Outfit

The Lace Up Skirt & Over The Knee Boots Outfit Even though I am still re-wearing pieces from my wardrobe and enjoying creating different looks with them, I’m still open to new looks and branching out with my style a bit more. I put a poll on my Instagram a while ago asking if you’d like to see more evening appropriate outfits and it actually won by a landslide, so as well as daytime looks, I’m venturing more into the night time ones too. I don’t often wear outfits like this as skirts are not in high abundance in my closet, but I genuinely love it. I realised that since I generally only take my pictures in the day when I’ve gone shopping or out to lunch etc, it’s limiting my looks quite a lot, so hopefully you like the different ones too. Again, this is another look featuring Wearall (see the first one here), so I’ve chosen their Harper Suede Lace Up Mini Skirt to go with the Talia Cross Strap Scoop Bodysuit, finished off with my Ted & Muffy Empress Boots (similar from Stuart Weitzman here). I love the fact that these items are so affordable, can you believe this top is only £6? It’s great if you want to change your look each weekend but have a budget to stick to. I wasn’t exactly sure how I wanted to style this top and skirt combination though as I didn’t know if I should opt for heels or boots, but as I really dislike my knees most of the time, I went with over the knee boots instead and…

The Herringbone Coat Outfit

The Herringbone Coat Outfit With Golden Goose Happy Easter everyone! I know I wished you it all yesterday on Instagram (see here), but as I wasn’t publishing a blog post on the 1st, it’s just as relevant now since it’s bank holiday and all. Did you all have a nice weekend? It was a very quiet one for me since it poured with rain all weekend, so Adam and I spent a lot of it doing some cleaning, watching shows on the TV and doing chores, ha ha. I did have an Easter Egg that my mum bought me, but it’s going to take a week to eat that in bits and pieces as I don’t like to go overboard. It’s kind of shocking it’s April now though! Where did the time go? Getting to this outfit, I’m sure you can tell by now that I am loving my Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers! I’m wearing them constantly and there’s more outfits to come as well, but for this one I decided to dress them up a bit more smart and opted for this New Look Herringbone Coat that I got from ASOS around about 5 months ago. I’m sure it was back in November but the weather had just been much too cold for a lightweight coat like this, so it’s only now that I’m wearing it! I think it’s turning into more of a Spring outer piece! I layered it over my Topshop Roll Neck Top, and chose my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop Skinny Jeans in Black to keep with the monochromatic theme. Finally, for my accessories, I…

The Twist Knot Jumper With Velvet Boots

The Twist Knot Jumper With Velvet Boots Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you enjoyed your weekend and have had a great start to the week so far. It was finally a bit warmer on the weekend! I’m living in hope now that Spring is finally on its way as the clocks have gone forward, the evenings are longer, the flowers are out, I’ve even seen some blossom! So, with that in mind, I thought it was time to do something a little more warmer weather appropriate, but still transitional and cosy. This Twist Knot Jumper was chosen from Wearall and I think it’s really unique and fun! I’ve always been into interesting knitwear pieces and do enjoy asymmetrical styles as well as slightly cropped at the front, and this one combines everything into one! It’s ideal for hiding any muffin top with high rise jeans as it’s longer on the sides, but it’s perfect for showing off your belt, like my Gucci GG Belt I have on here, due to the twist at the front. It’s also flattering as it’s off the shoulder and can be worn completely off one side if preferred, so I like how versatile it is. I kept it easy and styled it with my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop Jeans in Black and then added a big pop of colour with these Steve Madden Velvet Boots from Shoeaholics that I had been eyeing for ages. I’m actually now on the lookout for a classic, cable style knitted jumper in cream or white that’s slightly slouchy as I love that look with jeans, so if anyone…

Valentine’s Day Red Dress

Valentine’s Day Red Lace Dress With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, I thought it would be good to share with you two different outfits that I’ve put together for the romantic celebration. This is the first, featuring this TOBI Callie Ruffle Lace Skater Dress in Red, and the second will be in a few days time! I went for something romantic and feminine with this combination, and the other one is a bit more sexy and night time appropriate, so they’re quite different from each other. I rarely ever wear dresses, but when I saw this gorgeous red one on Tobi, I thought it would look amazing paired with my Christian Louboutin Pigalle in Black and my BVLGARI LVCEA Watch to add some sophistication. It turned out really pretty and as far as dresses go, I think this one is really feminine and flattering, especially in red. I think it could be worn both for the daytime and the evening though as it’s that perfect mix of in-between lengths for either occasion. For Valentine’s Day in the previous years, I remember mostly opting for pink as well as burgundy sometimes, so I’m glad to change it up and do something different this time around. Yes it was absolutely freezing when we shot these photos (it was on Friday) and I almost couldn’t handle the bitter wind, but Adam and I persevered and we got them done. I think the photos turned out quite nice. What do you think? And stay tuned for the second look coming soon! What are your Valentine’s Day plans? Lorna xx. P.S. – I have a very…
