Casual In Abercrombie

Comfy And Soft In Abercrombie & Fitch Sometimes I just love to wear something extremely casual, like a pair of skinny jeans and some knitwear, with comfortable flat shoes. For this outfit, I did just that, I wore my new Abercrombie & Fitch Soft AF Cozy Long Sleeve Crew Tee and their Curve Love Ripped High Rise Super Skinny Ankle Jeans, finished off with my Alexander McQueen Oversized Sneakers in Pewter as I seem to be living in those for a comfortable flat trainer. I can’t recommend them enough! I only recently got into Abercrombie & Fitch when a friend recommended them to me, and as it turns out, their clothes are really soft and comfortable, and actually fit nicely. The Curve Love skinny jeans are very suited to me as they have more room in the hips and thighs, which with my new figure and weight gain, is incredibly helpful. I really like how this turned out though! Lorna xx. P.S. – It’s time for the Shopbop Spring Event! It’s here! Dusky Rose Pink Duster Coat Outfit

The Allsaints Dusky Pink Duster Coat Outfit If you saw my London roundup on our trip to Mayfair, you will have spotted this outfit already, but not in full length. It’s actually one of my favourites for a put together, styled ensemble that’s perfect for Autumn or Spring, as it’s not too cold or too hot. It’s so comfortable too, which was ideal for all of the walking and shopping we were doing! This duster coat has quickly become a piece that I reach for often as well, despite when I initially tried it on, I wasn’t going to keep it as I thought it wouldn’t get too much wear, but I was wrong, so I’m glad I retried it on for the second time, ha ha. So the Dusky Pink Duster Coat that I am wearing is by Allsaints, and I picked it up in the sale a couple of months ago. It’s such a beautiful coat and it’s made of Lyocell, so it’s really comfortable! I layered it over my simple white t-shirt, paired with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Slate, and then finished off with my Alexander McQueen Oversized Sneakers in Gunmetal, and my Saint Laurent Nano Sac de Jour in Grey. I do really enjoy mixing monochrome/neutral pieces with one shade, especially if that shade is a dusky rose like this. I’d love to know what you think of this outfit? Do you love it as much as I do? Lorna xx. P.S. – I’m up for an award for best UK fashion blogger of the year, at the Influencer Awards in London tomorrow. I…

Pink Blossom For An Evening Out

As these photos were shot back in May or June, I had on a very Summery outfit, which consisted of this Pretty Little Thing Blossom Top and one of their Pale Pink Corduroy Mini Skirts. I finished it off with some Topshop Blush Pink Ankle Boots, and some dainty jewellery. I think this outfit is not only perfect for the warmer weather, but it would be great for an evening out too as it’s pretty feminine and cute! I wasn’t planning on doing this blog post (like my other one with the red co-ord) as a get the outfit type of post because all of these pieces are sold out, and I mostly just enjoy sharing my looks with you. That’s why I’m going to keep this one very short, ask if you love the outfit, and say that I’m really looking forward to shooting my Halloween photos this weekend! Lorna xx.

McQueen Kind Of Scene

How I Styled My Alexander McQueen Sneakers A comfortable and casual look here, one that I’ve been gravitating towards on the cooler days. You might recognise the above photo from my Alexander McQueen oversized sneakers review that I did a couple of weeks ago, and this was actually from the first time wearing them out. I’m still very much obsessed with them and can’t be without them now! I paired them with my trusty L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite again, since I wear these with everything, and wore a white H&M Tank Top, my ASOS Western Belt, and my Saint Laurent Nano Sac de Jour in Grey and their New Wave Sunglasses. I know you can’t exactly class this outfit as extremely stylish or fashionable, and in truth, most of what I wear doesn’t fall into that category, but I do like being able to put pieces together to create outfits, even if they are casual and simple like this. I’ve got so many other outfits planned with these Alexander McQueen sneakers too, I can’t wait to show you all! Anyway, I’m keeping this post short! Let me know what you think of my outfit and I hope you have a lovely weekend ahead! Lorna xx. *This post contains affiliate links to help keep this blog running.

The Grey Checked Blazer With Black Boots

The Grey Checked Blazer With Black Boots Last month, or maybe around 5-6 weeks ago, Adam and I were in town doing some shopping and this is the outfit that I wore. It was fairly cool that day, so something like this was fairly appropriate, but thinking about it now as it’s really hot today and around 32C tomorrow, it’s making me sweat, ha ha. But this is why I usually love the milder weather the most because I can layer and put things together, and I get to wear tall boots, which are my favourite! For this look, I was wearing my New Look Checked Blazer (which you have seen here before) and I layered it over my Mango Knitted Tank Top. I then went for my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite, as you know I adore those, and threw on my ASOS Western Belt around the middle. Now for the accessories, I chose my Ted & Muffy/DUO Empress Over The Knee Boots in Black Suede, my Gucci Dionysus Suede Mini Bag in Taupe, and my Swarovski Tinkerbell Necklace. Getting to wear my over the knee boots again is always a dream. I can never get enough of how they really dress up an outfit, as well as give me confidence when I’m walking. But the star of this outfit though is probably the checked blazer, it only cost me around £30, which I think is a great price for a jacket that looks quite classy, despite being from New Look. It’s one of those pieces that dresses up really well, and I like that. It’s always about mixing…

Styling 3 House of Cavani Women’s Tweed Blazers

3 Ways To Style A House of Cavani Blazer Blazers and jackets are a clothing staple that I have loved for years, ever since I got into fashion, and I don’t think that will ever change. Even though my style evolves every single year, my love for blazers remains the same, which is probably why they make up a good portion of my outerwear! With that in mind, I am super excited to be teaming up with House of Cavani to show you how I styled 3 of their brand new women’s tweed blazers! The brand is English based, and is a men’s suit company, but they recently branched out into the ladies department and I’m liking what I see! I even got to model all of the women’s collection on their website for them, which you can check out here. As I know I have a lot of male readers as well, I think this is something for all of you as you guys might want to check out their cool suits! Plus, these jackets are made as women’s versions of their best sellers for men, so if you have a partner, you can twin in your House of Cavani blazers! I am planning to do that with Adam soon when the weather cools down a bit! Anyway, lets get to my styling of these 3 jackets below for you! Cavani Caridi Beige Blazer First up, and my favourite of the 3 blazers, is the Caridi Beige Blazer and I adore it because it’s a beautiful off white, beige shade that matches every single piece of clothing in your…

Double Denim And A Baseball Cap

Double Denim With A Baseball Cap Some blue denim! It’s been a little while since I wore blue denim, as someone pointed out to me on Instagram a couple of days ago, saying they missed it, so this is as close as I have got so far! I do plan on wearing my new blue jeans soon (these ones), so stay tuned! For this outfit though, it’s a casual and sporty look that I wore to town a couple of weekends ago. As you can see in some of the photos, it was on and off raining all day which is why I was wearing a hat and why my hair was frizzy. The British weather is just insane lately! Usually by mid June it’s scorching hot, but it’s freezing and constantly raining, so it’s all over the place as usual. Not that I’m complaining as I hate it when it’s too hot, just stating a fact since I’m British and it’s what we do – talk about the weather! I was wearing my GRLFRND Embroidered Denim Jacket (you saw it here before) which I layered over a grey tank top from GAP (picked this one up at Clarks Village) and paired it with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite (what else!). For my shoes I opted for my Balenciaga Race Runners in Black and then borrowed one of Adam’s baseball caps from New Era, since he has the largest collection! I thought the grey marl matched perfectly with the entire combination! Blue, black and grey is a winner! I find my taste in outfits varies every single day,…

A Beautiful Pastel Blue Summer Dress

A Beautiful Baby Blue Dress From Yumi Happy Friday everyone! I hope you have a fun weekend ahead! For those of you who have been following my trip to Clarks Village posts and watched the stories on my Instagram (see them here) you might remember this gorgeous Light Blue Yumi Dress! It was the first dress that I saw and fell in love with when I was at the shopping outlet, and I couldn’t believe the price as it was knocked down to just £16! They also had a pale pink and a pale yellow, but the baby blue was a shade that caught my eye, and since I don’t wear much blue at all (outside of denim anyway) I was mesmerised by it and knew I would love to style it. I took a size 10 in this Yumi Dress and it fits perfectly! I love the striped net that it has on the outside, and the separate petticoat underneath, which really adds to the look. I feel like this is the perfect summer dress to wear to a friends wedding or to a garden party, as it’s smart and classic, but also youthful and fun at the same time. Obviously it’s not available online as it’s past season, but I have included a few different blue dresses from Yumi as alternative options for you! I decided to style this dress with my Gucci Dionysus Bag and a pair of Topshop Wedges that I have had for years, in a complementary shade to give me some height. For the accessories, I chose the Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses in Mirrored Blue…
