(Shirt – Exact, Leggings – Similar, Boots – Exact, Watch – Exact, Bracelets – Similar) Sorry for the delay in posting this look! I had planned on posting is last weekend, but never got around to it. Sometimes I just love the simplicity of a statement shirt with simple leggings and boots and accessories to spruce it up, like this outfit. I’m wearing my Zara Red Plaid Shirt, my Warehouse Black Leggings, my KG by Kurt Geiger Winona Booties, an ASOS Mustache Watch and Bracelets from Topshop and ASOS. Did you all have a nice weekend? I was also wondering, do any of you watch the TV shows Stella or Got To Dance? I’ve always loved Stella and I’m really into Got To Dance at the moment! But anyway, aside from that, what do you think of this outfit?
(Shorts – Exact, Leggings – Similar, Top – Similar, Jacket – Similar, Boots – Exact, Bag – Similar) As you know I absolutely love galaxy print and these shorts are gorgeous! I got sent them from Voodoo Girl to style and I know I will definitely be wearing them more in the summer when it warms up too! I recently found Voodoo Girl on ASOS and I fell in love with the brand, so I am excited to be collaborating with them for this post. They have such unique pieces! I’m wearing my gifted Voodoo Girl Galaxy Shorts, a Topshop Purple Top, a Zara Quilted Faux Leather Jacket, my Warehouse Black leggings, my Forever 21 Neon Pink Quilted Bag and my KG by Kurt Geiger Winona Boots. I decided to keep my look in the purple theme to match the shorts, but I thought black would be a great base colour for the purple shades to go against. I also got this bag for Valentines Day from my boyfriend, but hadn’t yet worn it until now. I don’t know if the camera captures its colour well, but it’s bright neon pink and so pretty! What do you think of the outfit? Do you like the shorts?
(Jeans – Similar, Blazer – Similar, Scarf – Exact, Shoes – Similar) I got gifted this beautiful blue and green silk scarf from Louis Jane to style, so I have been thinking up an outfit to really showcase it for a while. I came up with the idea of pairing it with a navy blazer and white skinny jeans as I think the look is simple and clean and the scarf stands out! I’m wearing gifted Hudson Nico White Jeans, a Zara Navy Blazer, my gifted Louis Jane Silk Scarf and my Topshop Nude Metallic Toe Cap Heels. I also like the fact that when I put this whole look together, it really reminded me of a sailors outfit with the navy and white combination. It’s also quite classy at the same time so would be great to wear out somewhere with a dress code. I really like how the combination turned out and I’m a big fan of these lovely white jeans from Hudson. What do you think of the outfit?
(Shorts – Exact, Top – Similar, Leggings – Similar, Boots – Exact, Watch – Exact, Jewellery – Similar) Despite it being chilly now, it was actually warm enough on Sunday for this outfit. It was really nice to see the sun shining over the fields and actually be reminded that Summer is not too far away now! It was pretty cold in the shade when the wind blew, but I really liked this outfit. I’m wearing my Levi’s Vintage Denim Shorts, Warehouse Black Leggings, a Zara Burgundy Top, KG by Kurt Geiger Winona Booties, a Mustache Watch from ASOS, a Forever 21 Animal Necklace and Bracelets from ASOS & Topshop. I usually prefer pairing my denim shorts over long leggings more so than tights, simply because I find that most tights irritate my legs and leggings keep you warmer anyway, but I thought the pairing of burgundy and black was broken up quite nicely with the bright blue denim in the middle and finished off with lots and lots of jewellery! What do you think?
(Jeans – Similar, Blazer – Similar, Shoes – Similar, Watch – Exact, Jewellery – Similar) This is my Valentine’s Day look that I wore over the weekend. I know it’s a little late, but since I didn’t get to see my boyfriend on Valentine’s Day, we celebrated it over the weekend instead. I’m wearing Robin’s Red Floral Jeans, a Black Topshop Blazer and Glam Heels, a Zara White T-shirt and Jewellery/Watch/Hair Accessories from ASOS. I opted for a lot of floral, in the sense of my jeans, my bun holder and my rose, but I also kept the colours quite bold so they would stand out. Red, black and white is a favourite combination of mine, although I usually prefer burgundy, but I thought these jeans were absolutely perfect for the day so I had to go with it! Did you all have a nice Valentine’s Day and what do you think of the outfit?
I’m sorry that I haven’t been able to post much this week. I have been so busy with posts on DenimBlog, that I haven’t had much time and I was in London again yesterday (which I got soaked in the torrential down pour) as I have been visiting the AW12 press events. Yesterday however was my last London trip so I wont be going again for quite some time, which means I have plenty of time to catch up on my posts. I’m wearing G-Star skinny grey moto jeans, a Topshop denim shirt, lilac tank top, silver horse ring and crystal beaded bracelet and my Kurt Geiger Nude Eleanor heels. This outfit is one that I put together on the weekend and I really quite like it. I love denim shirts and I usually pair them with dark blue jeans, but I chose grey this time around and love how that turned out! It’s just a simple look, but sometimes I think simplicity can look just as good as layers and prints. What do you think? I had to dodge the rain showers for these photos too, ha ha! This is an outfit that I put together on Easter Sunday, last weekend. I’ve sort of become addicted to leggings now, I have gained quite a few in pretty colours and prints, but these seem to be a pair I go to the most when I’m not in jeans. I thought pairing them with my tie front shirt would look nice and I quite like how it turned out. I’m wearing my Miss Selfridge coated black leggings and my tie front white shirt, my new Topshop metallic toe cap heels, my Merle O’Grady necklace, Urban Outfitters bird ring, AVON pearl bracelets and my Mulberry Lily in Oak. I’ve had a little thing for metallic toe cap heels and when I saw these in Topshop last month, I thought they were adorable! The best thing is they are only 3 inches so they are suprisingly comfortable! This is also the first time sharing my Mulberry Lily in Oak with you guys in an outfit. I don’t usually like brown and black together, but I have become fond of it when white is also involved. I then finished off the look with some accessories. What do you think? Those of you who are following me on Twitter and on Instagram (LornaRaindrops) will know that I have been doing a styling challenge with Luisaviaroma for DenimBlog. I got to choose the items online and style them, then send them back. This is because I wasn’t able to attend the Firenze4Eva event in Florence with them back in January. Italy is a long way to go, but I had fun doing it this way! I chose a pair of Dsquared jeans, an American Retro coral/fuchsia shirt and Yves Saint Laurent Marine heels, which I paired with my Topshop gold belt and some New Look and my own DIY coloured bracelets. What do you think of the outfit? You can see the full post on DenimBlog by clicking here. The shirt was a little big, so that’s the reason I belted it. I think it looks better this way anyway. I was also so excited to try out the YSL heels! I have never tried them before, and they are wonderful! So let me know what you think of this look! The items can be found at Luisaviaroma, here.
