Coachella Festival Inspired With Wellies

Festival inspired denim shorts with a flower crown and wellies I’ve never been to Coachella before, neither have I been to Glastonbury, but I used to go to my local music festivals when I was younger and really liked them. It’s probably a little too crowded for my liking these days and too many people all in one place for me, but I absolutely adore music. The whole wave of emotions it can give you, the way your body responds to it (like I can’t stop bopping about anytime I hear Shake It Off, ha ha), so, in light of it being Coachella right now, I thought I would do a music festival inspired outfit! The weathers been warming up nicely and it seemed really fitting! I started out with my Topshop Crochet Denim Shorts which I paired with their white cropped top, then layered on my River Island Waterfall Cardigan as the shorts are too short to not have anything covering behind. This made the base of the look, but seeing as I live in the UK, I thought it was more suitable to add my Hunter Original Tall Gloss Wellies to the look like they do at Glastonbury, since it’s usually wet and muddy here. I’ve actually never worn shorts with my wellies before, but I think it’s something I will have to do more of! To really accessorize it, I went with lots of jewellery from various shops like ASOS and Topshop, then chose my purple Ray-Ban Erika Velvet Sunglasses and then finally a DIY Flower Crown. I made this by attaching lots of flower clips to…

Lipstick Red In A Bodycon Dress

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed some of the warmer weather over here in the UK! I was finally able to shoot these photos in the golden hour like I have been waiting to do for a good few weeks! You may remember that I teamed up with Style Me Celeb before and wore one of their bodycon dresses in monochrome a few months back, but this time for a second shoot, I opted for the lipstick red Sophie dress in the style of Miranda Kerr, which I think is absolutely stunning! I decided to pair it with my Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 in Black and my Rebecca Minkoff Mini Love Bag in Black too, finished off with a matching red lip. I’m actually planning on wearing this dress to a friends wedding in May next month as I think it’s that pretty! It’s a really bold and bright red tone, perfect for making a statement, but the cut of it is really flattering in my opinion. It hugs in all the right places and the length is quite conservative too. It’s definitely not something I am used to wearing on a regular basis, but I think when the occasion is right, this dress is the perfect option! I took a size M in it, even though I’m usually an S or XS in clothing, but I need to size up so it fits in the chest area and hips, so keep that in mind if you buy one! Definitely check the measurements chart! I would love to know what all of you think of it…

Denim Overalls With A Trench Coat

Denim overalls with a trench coat, a denim bag and a denim watch I hope you all had a lovely Easter holiday and long weekend! I definitely did! It was nice to relax a little bit, do some Spring cleaning and enjoy a longer time with Adam. I’m loving this warmer weather that we have had just come in too! You gotta love England for its random weather changes! It was a mini hurricane last week and now it’s like nothing ever happened, ha ha. I hope the sun stays around for a while longer! Anyway, we shot this outfit a little while ago in between rain storms, but it’s one that I completely fell in love with. I have had these GUESS Denim Overalls for a few months now but haven’t showcased them on the blog yet. They fit me really well and have a great casual vibe to them which I find easy to dress up or down. I paired them with my new Topshop Trench Coat, a Cropped White Top and my Kelya Nude Heels. This trench coat was one that I had been eying on the website for ages! It’s a lighter weight cotton and the colour of it is gorgeous. I did have to size down to a UK 4 though as it does run really large! You will be seeing this a lot more often as I’m so excited to finally have a trench coat which isn’t bulky! For my accessories, I wore my trusty Rebecca Minkoff Denim Love Cross Body Bag and then also my new RumbaTime Denim Watch. I think this is…

Winter White Florals In Spring

Wintery White Florals In Spring I hope you all have a wonderful weekend ahead of you for Easter! I’m really excited about spending the time with my family and having a meal together, and of course using the excuse to eat chocolate, ha ha! You may have noticed on my Instagram that I wore this outfit a couple of weeks ago, even though I had it planned for quite some time. I don’t usually wear all white looks, but I have always wanted to as I find them to be not as popular and more unique than others. I also feel like they add a sense of class or maturity to an outfit which other colours just can’t do. To freshen up my take on an all white look, I paired my Hudson Nico White Skinny Jeans with my River Island Winter Floral Blazer, which I layered over my Topshop Cream Peplum Top and finished off with my Kelya Nude Heels. I think the pastel tones of the floral print on the jacket really make the white pop and just gives it that something extra to stop it looking boring. I also used a shade of cream and nude to help take it away from that sterile vibe that all white could possibly drift towards sometimes. What do you think of this outfit on me? I would love to know what you fashion bloggers and readers think of it as I always love reading and replying to the comments that you leave me! Snakeskin Prints In Peacock Tones

My Lorna Raindrops Collaboration Jeans With Snake Print Heels I’m really excited to finally be able to share with you a collaboration that I have been working on for the past year with Canadian denim brand, Yoga Jeans. You may remember a few years ago that I designed a pair of jeans with Paige Denim, so I’m overjoyed to be able to have designed another pair with another brand, which are completely different. Yoga Jeans and I started this venture about a year ago after I tried out one of their coated black ponte jeans, but I wanted a pant that wasn’t coated, but was made of the same ponte jersey material all over, with a higher rise. That’s when the idea of the Sky Rise Skinny in Ponte Black came about! They are now available to buy and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! The rise hits just below the belly button, so they are quite high, meaning you can do yoga in them as well as wear them out and about without any worries. The inseam is about 31 inches or there abouts and they are skinny all the way to the ankle, so they are a lot like a legging. We kept the back pockets in the same position as their regular jeans to make sure they have a flattering fit too. So many brands raise the back pocket placement up on high rise jeans and it makes them really unflattering! The fabric is a lot like a really thick legging, it’s not actually denim, it’s a ponte jersey fabric which is incredibly stretchy!…

Just Another Kind Of Wellies Day

AG Legging Jeans with a burgundy gilet and my Hunter wellies It’s been pretty rainy here lately in England, a lot more than usual, but I suppose that’s normal since it’s coming up to the April showers season! It’s supposed to rain for the whole weekend too which might make the outfit shoots I had planned a bit difficult, so fingers crossed for me that it’s ok! I attended Bristol Fashion Week on Wednesday and had a great time! It was hosted by Lucy Watson (Made in Chelsea) and ITV stylist, Mark Heyes, plus I got to see my fashion blogger friends again! I will be doing a post on this next week though, so stay tuned for that one! Getting to my outfit, as the rain showers have been off and on, it was easier to shoot these photos quickly as it had stopped for a while. I chose to wear my trusty Hunter Original Tall Navy Gloss Wellies (buy these wellies online here) which I tucked my AG The Legging Skinny Jeans into (buy similar jeans here) and paired with a GAP Long Sleeve Grey Tee and my Topshop Burgundy Padded Gilet, finally finished with my Urban Outfitters Gloves. I absolutely adore wellies as you know, I have quite a collection now, so I love it when it rains and I’m able to wear them and go splashing in the puddles if I want to! That’s one of the benefits of being a country blogger, nobody looks at you strangely when you are in wellies! Anyway, let me know what you think of my outfit! I would love…

Layers Upon Layers Of Warmth

The faux fur jacket over a roll neck sweater with skinny jeans and boots I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend! I’ve spent mine quite quietly, enjoying some down time at the park yesterday and today I have been busy cleaning and sprucing things up, which I guess you could say was Spring cleaning. Did any of you catch the eclipse on Friday? I was really excited for it and got up really early to watch it, but it was so full of smog here that I couldn’t get a view of the sun and ended up watching it on the TV instead, which was incredible. I remember the last eclipse that I saw back in 1999, when everything went dark, so I was hoping this one would be the same, but it was only up north that it happened that way unfortunately. I did manage to sneak a glimpse when the moon was passing over as the sun had popped out for a few moments, but not as much as I was hoping. I did put some incredible photos from others on my Instagram though if you want to see! Getting to my outfit, I wore this last weekend when I was in town with Adam. It was pretty cold so I decided that I needed to layer up for warmth. I wore my River Island Roll Neck Sweater over a tank top (not visible) and then layered on my Zara Faux Fur Shearling Gilet. I actually got this a few months ago in the sale when it was on, but this is the first time wearing…

Lady In Red

The long red maxi dress with gold ankle strap heels Good morning from smoggy England! I hope you are all well and that your allergies aren’t playing up too much from the air. I can barely see past the trees or road myself, it’s that thick! I am just hoping that it wont block our view of the eclipse tomorrow! I’m really excited about that! Luckily we shot these photos on the weekend when the air was clear, however it was absolutely freezing so please do excuse the blue tinge to my skin and the goosebumps, ha ha! I’ve collaborated with Boohoo.com on this post to bring you a prom look. I got to choose a full outfit from the Boohoo prom collection and showcase something I would wear. I never actually got to go to my own prom night as I never had a date (I was pretty boyish and goofy) and I wasn’t too well, so that’s something I have always missed out on, but I really like this outfit that I ended up choosing. One of my favourite movies is Never Been Kissed and I always remember Drew Barrymore’s character in it on prom night, how it changed so much from her being the geek originally and then the really cool girl the second time around. Have any of you seen that movie? Since I was the geeky one, it always sticks with me! I was wearing this beautiful Sophie Plunge Neck Front Split Maxi Dress for my look, paired with the Becca Metallic Cuff Heels, finished off with a Elvie Snake Arm Cuff and a Lola…
