Brown And Beige Suedette With Burgundy

Brown & Beige Suede With Chanel Espadrilles Where has the sun gone? It’s been really hot and sunny the past few days, warm enough for shorts and tank tops, but now it’s raining, cold and thundery! Oh England, you do know how to drive us crazy with your weather, but then like I mentioned before, it is the pros and cons to being a UK fashion blogger. For this location though, the weather doesn’t matter too much as it’s on a bridge over the pretty river Avon which runs through my city of Bath. I thought it made a great backdrop for the shades in my outfit as it combines almost all shades of colour then. I wanted to wear something I consider to be appropriate for Autumn with the brown, beige and burgundy tones, even though it’s Spring, so I chose my 7 For All Mankind Suedette Skinny Jeans (similar here) with my River Island Suedette Jacket. I wore both of these pieces together before, but in a much different way. This time I chose my Burberry Claret Check Scarf to go with it, my Saint Laurent Envelope Clutch and my Chanel Leather Espadrilles (cheaper option here)! It took Adam and I months and months to finally track these down and I love them! The tone of the beige really blends in well with the jacket and I love the various shades of brown with it, with the pop of burgundy to give it some life. I also wore my RADLEY London Rose Gold Watch too to add some sparkle! What do you think of the outfit? Do you…

Blush Pink In The Enchanted Gardens

Blush Pink All Saints Aleida Blazer With Grey Jeans A couple of weekends ago, Adam and I headed into the ‘senses garden’ which is in the park in town. It’s designed to have sounds, sights and smells for those who want to enjoy the senses and it’s beautiful. Not only is it filled with gorgeous flowers, it has a pretty pond in the middle with a fountain and animals everywhere. Every time we go there we always take some nuts and seeds as the squirrels and birds are often hungry, so it’s such a pleasure to sit there, enjoy the sun and connect with nature. I feel like a modern day Cinderella when they all come over to us for food, sometimes even going through our bags themselves. It’s such a wonderful experience and I could honestly stay there all day. Since the weather is finally warming up and there’s shades of pink everywhere from the cherry blossoms on the trees, I wanted an outfit that was perfectly matching with neutrals and baby pink, so for this outfit, I was wearing my new All Saints Aleida Blazer in Blush Pink which I picked up at the store a couple of weeks ago. It was an impulse purchase, but I fell in love with it and  blush pink tones seem to be the colour of the moment for Spring. I took it in a size UK 8 (I’m usually a UK 6) as it’s meant to have an oversized fit to it, but it’s absolutely gorgeous! I layered it over my Oasis Perfect Crew and then went with my J Brand…

A Woodland Stroll In Nude

All Saints Plait Balfern Nude Jacket With Skinny Jeans By nude, I mean my jacket and boots! I’m definitely not naked in the woods, ha ha. Adam and I shot these photos a couple of weekends ago when I got to wear my All Saints Plait Balfern Leather Jacket in Nude for the first time. I’ve not been able to wear it more than once so far as I can’t risk it being out in the rain as it will get ruined, so I’m truly hoping the weather warms up nicely and stops raining for me to wear it more. It goes with so many things, but I decided to style it with a simple tank top, my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Jeans with my DIY Raw Hem and then a pair of Topshop Nude Ankle Boots. For my accessories, I chose my Mulberry Mini Taylor in Sycamore to add some colour and then wanted a dainty piece of jewellery so I opted for my Links of London Ring Charm Necklace that Adam got me for Valentine’s Day a couple of months ago. I am definitely preferring elegant and small jewellery now, even though I don’t own very much of it at all. But I feel like big statement necklaces and chunky bracelets are too over powering to my outfits currently, but we will have to see how that changes in the Summer when I’m wearing a lot less clothing layers. I am realising now that I am a lot blonder, I’m suiting more lighter shades of pastels and beige which was something that I felt washed me out before.…

Under The Cherry Blossom Tree

Springtime Outfit Under The Cherry Blossom With Chelsea Boots When I was out last weekend, it finally felt like Spring was in full bloom. All of the flowers were out, there was cherry blossom all over the trees (which happen to be my favourite) and it was just beautiful to be around. It was of course freezing, as it often is, but seeing the park in all its glory definitely put a smile on my face and I finally felt like I can get excited about Summer which is just around the corner. For my outfit, I needed something warm but an outfit that was also colourful with a hint of warmer weather appropriate, which is why I chose my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop Jeans which I did a bit of alterations to in the form of a DIY Raw Hem. The raw hem is something I adore and I bought a new pair of them just so I could have raw hem in this wash as well as a normal hem line. I layered over my All Saints Lorie Coat and then threw on this River Island Scarf to add some colour and my Mulberry Lily Bag in Oak to blend in with the browns I was going for. Now for the shoes, I wanted to do a separate paragraph for these as I adore them! I chose these Short Chelsea Boots from Celtic & Co. to go with the cropped length of my jeans as I think they are the perfect match. If you haven’t heard of Celtic & Co. it’s a Cornwall based brand and they…

A Pop Of Orange

A Checked Orange Men’s Shirt With Black Skinny Jeans Happy Saturday everyone! So glad it’s the weekend again as I’ve had a busy, stressful two weeks. I’m spending it with Adam as I haven’t seen him for a couple of weeks and I can’t wait to relax and enjoy a few days off! I’ve already got mostly everything scheduled so I’m hoping to shut off a bit and enjoy the now. Hopefully it doesn’t rain too much though like it has been doing constantly, but then again, this month is April Showers isn’t it? Getting to these photos, I was actually wearing this outfit (minus the heels) for a trip we had planned a couple of weeks ago to the beach, however 10 minutes into the journey, the car broke down unfortunately and it meant we couldn’t go. Adam and I decided it wouldn’t be good to ruin the rest of the day since it was so sunny so we took a walk through areas of the countryside and found this quaint little bridge to take our photos on. It’s really beautiful here as the stream and forest areas run right underneath and around it, so it’s like being in the middle of woodland area, which is so tranquil. I was wearing a WeSC Orange Checked Shirt which I got from the men’s department of TKMaxx a few months back. I fell in love with the colour of it and thought it would be perfect to wear around casually with leggings and black jeans. I paired it with my new Paige Denim Verdugo Crop Jeans in Jett Black Destructed which…

The Black Leather Pants & Maroon Lace Blouse

Maroon L’Academie Safari Blouse With Black Leather Pants First of all I wanted to say thank you to all of you for the really kind responses about my new blog layout. It seems like you all really like it and had very positive things to say about the new design, which makes me happy. I’m also really glad you love my new hairstyle as well, it’s such a change so it’s been quite hard getting used to it. I know a few of you said you preferred it long, which is fine, but I’m really happy that it’s short now as it’s so much easier for me. All in all though the majority of you love it, so that’s great! Now this post is the first outfit post I’m sharing with you on the new blog layout and I wanted to make it a special one. I’m finally debuting my new leather pants! Many of you have seen these on my Snapchat and Instagram already when I first got them and have been questioning me about a blog post on them, so here it finally is! These are my Rag & Bone The Leather Skinny Pant in Washed Black (which I did a review on recently on DenimBlog) and this is the first outfit I have worn them with. I’ve got numerous ideas about how I want to style these leather pants, but for this look, I have collaborated with Revolve Clothing and have decided to style them in a feminine and bold way. I went with the Safari Blouse in Maroon from L’Academie which is absolutely gorgeous isn’t it?…

Mom Jeans And Liya

Citizens of Humanity Liya Jeans I can’t believe how fast everything is going these days! We are already at the 5th of April and it doesn’t feel that long ago that it was Valentine’s Day or Christmas. It’s crazy! These are the photos that we shot when it was pouring with rain and I mentioned that we got really wet, but it managed to stop for a little while for us to get a few good shots of my outfit thankfully. English weather is so unpredictable! Speaking of unpredictable, you might know from my social media yesterday that my MacBook broke. I was so sad! I had my schedule down for a whole days work and it completely broke, but it was almost 6 years old so it has been running on borrowed time. It meant that I had to go out and buy a new one though so now my credit card is maxed out at the moment, eek! Since I have a new retina screen now, I’m trying to optimise my photos for everyone else who reads in retina as well, but I want to make sure it shows up clear for those who aren’t retina ready, so if you could comment and let me know what screen you have and if the photos are blurry or crisp, that would be absolutely amazing please! Now getting to my outfit, I’ve loved the look of the vintage mom jeans trend for quite some time now and thought that I wanted to give it a go but wasn’t sure which pair to pick. I stuck with my love for Citizens…

Monochromatic Feelings

50 Shades Of Monochromatic Grey These were the photos that I briefly mentioned on Snapchat yesterday. Like I said, we were shopping in Marks & Spencers and then all of a sudden it decided to rain so heavily that it was flooding down the road and we couldn’t leave the store. It was sunny beforehand, which is why we planned to shoot my photos just after the shopping, but that really was an epic fail! Since it was raining so hard and not due to stop after I checked the weather app, we decided that the only thing we could do was to find somewhere inside the store and shoot the photos there. By the back entrance they have two flights of stairs which lead to the upper levels and Adam thought they would be really cool and different as a setting. It was extremely poor lighting so the original photos made me dark, orange with yellow hair. Thank goodness we shoot in raw though so I was able to edit the lighting to how they should look. I wasn’t overly fond of doing the photo inside and on some stairs with people staring at me all the time, but as it turned out, I think they look quite unique and different, so oddly enough I’m quite pleased with them. For those of you wondering, yes, we did get completely soaked when we left, despite having umbrellas. My jeans were drenched, my New Balance which I had for walking were soaked through and it was just so bad. Normally I would be in wellies and a rain coat, but when…
