Hedgehog & Snail Inspired Animal Jewellery

Back in 2011, I was introduced to an adorable jewellery brand called Sphere of Life, which I have posted about numerous times on my blog as I’m sure you know. Animal inspired jewellery is one of my favourite things, not just because of my love for them, but because I think it makes a quirky piece of jewellery which always has a talking point. I was happy to collaborate on this post with Market Cross Jewellers as it means I could share something I love with you. I decided to do a get the look post and since they stock Sphere of Life, it was a perfect fit! Do you remember this hedgehog necklace that I got a long time ago from the brand? I did a giveaway with it, but it’s one of the brands staple pieces from their collections, so it’s often available to buy in local jewellery boutiques in London, Birmingham, Manchester and other cities. This is why I’ve done this get the look post, as I knew so many of you loved the necklace! The hedgehog is called Cuddles and is wrapped up in a ball with his little feet sticking out, it’s adorable! I’ve also included a Sphere of Life snail necklace from them, however I don’t own that particular one, I just love snail inspired jewellery! Relaxing At The Park In A Leopard Maxi Skirt

(Skirt – Similar, Top – Exact, Sandals – Exact, Sunglasses – Exact, Necklace – Similar, Bracelet – Exact) I wore this outfit on Friday when I went to the park to wind down. I usually don’t feel the heat because I have cold hands and feet all the time, but on this day I was actually almost roasted and I had to go and sit in the shade after 10 minutes. It was really nice to just lie there on the grass and blanket and just appreciate the quiet. Like I mentioned in my previous post, the weekend really was some much needed rest for me. I’m wearing an unbranded Leopard maxi skirt, a Miss Selfridge burgundy tank top, ASOS Flossy sandals, Ray Ban Cat Eye sunglasses, H&M bracelets, my Urban Outfitters Deer necklace, my Gina Stewart Sapphire bracelet and my beautiful Sphere of Life Mosaic bracelet. I went with this outfit as it was something really simple and bold at the same time. Apart from the accessories, nothing cost me over £18. The skirt was a find on eBay under £10 and the tank top was cheap too. I always have the thought process that if something looks good and seems to be made quite well, then it doesn’t matter if it has a designer name on it or not. They gifted one to me which you can see and it’s absolutely adorable! It’s on a long chain so you just slip it over your head and wear it quite long and it looks great because the actual hedgehog is quite big, Cuddles is 2.5cm big and has black crystal eyes.
