(Shorts – Similar, Top – Similar, Shoes – Exact On Sale, Ring – Similar, Necklace – Exact & Similar, Watch – Similar, Bracelet – Similar, Similar, Similar & Similar) Even though it hasn’t been very warm out, I had had enough of not being able to wear all of the cute denim shorts that I bought for Summer. So over the weekend, for a short amount of time, I finally was able to wear my denim crochet shorts. The most annoying thing about them though is that they ride up so much, they are so beautiful and gorgeous, but I decided I can’t really go out wearing them without wearing a long top, they ride up way too much at the back and I end up showing more than I intended, which is not good, ha ha. I’m wearing my denim crochet shorts, beige flats, spiked bracelet, Amethyst and Butterfly necklace from Topshop, a Sparkle & Fade long sleeve top, Urban Outfitters Bird ring, ASOS watch and some DIY bracelets. I was wondering how do you get around the short shorts situation? Sometimes I wear them with leggings underneath, but I don’t want to do that when it’s hot, so I suppose the only option is a long top and tuck in the front? Also, I’m going to see Magic Mike tomorrow, which I am excited about! Have any of you seen it yet? And as always, you can purchase the items I’m wearing in the links under the first image and click this post to view the rest of the photos.
I wore this outfit to town on the weekend and I was inspired by an outfit I saw on Rosie from Made in Chelsea. I loved the idea of the leather sleeveless jacket with her deep red jeans and a lighter sweater. I decided to use my hooded sleeveless leather style jacket and a pair of bright red jeans though and pair it with wedges instead of boots. I quite like how it turned out too! What do you think? I’m wearing J Brand skinny jeans in Black Cherry, a Sparkle & Fade sweater/jumper, a Topshop black PU leather sleeveless jacket, my Urban Outfitters wedges and Deer necklace, a River Island satchel bag and my H&M gold bangles. I also wanted to welcome my new followers! I have gained quite a few new readers of my blog and I want to thank everyone for taking the time to comment and follow me! It’s really lovely to know you all like my blog and love to read it! I appreciate it a lot! As always, there are lots more photos if you click this post! I will also be reviewing these jeans on DenimBlog soon! (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)
I actually went out to lunch twice on the week of my birthday and this time we went out to a new place called Cosy Club. We sat outside on the balcony and it was really beautiful. I’ve become quite fond of this Sparkle & Fade top as well now, it’s really comfy and I like it paired with these shoes. I’m wearing 7 For All Mankind Gwenevere jeans in Zuma Sunset, a Sparkle & Fade jumper/sweater, my Urban Outfitters wedges and Deer necklace, Betsey Johnson sunglasses and my Mulberry Alexa clutch in Powder Sparkle Tweed. This is actually my Alexa’s first outing. I’ve read loads of things on TPF about how delicate it is and how you need to be really careful with colour transfer. I wore a light pair of jeans which have no colour rubbing off issue but I still managed to get a small blue stain on the back of the bag unfortunately. I think not getting colour on the Alexa is going to actually be near impossible which is upsetting but I love the bag so much, I really want to wear it and not have to worry. I wanted to start this blog post by saying a huge thank you to all of you who wished me happy birthday on Wednesday. I think I counted around 85 messages on FaceBook, Twitter and email. I really appreciate all of them and I had a nice quiet birthday. It was actually really hot on my birthday so that definitely makes a change. Here I am wearing Siwy Alexa denim shorts in Love Song, a Sparkle & Fade jumper/sweater from Urban Outfitters, Urban Outfitters shoes and bird ring, an ASOS heart clock necklace and my H&M gold bangles. I’m absolutely in love with these shorts! I’ve done a review on them on DenimBlog (which you can see here) but I just love the wool patches on them! So cute. I’ve been saving for a new pair of Ray Ban sunglasses too, I am stuck choosing between a few pairs. Did you all have a nice weekend and what do you think of this outfit? As always if you click this blog post you will see the rest of my photos. (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)
