A Balfern Leather Jacket With A Leopard Dress

Allsaints Tiana Slip Dress With A Balfern Leather Jacket Hey everyone! How are you all? I hope you’re well! I haven’t made this announcement yet on my blog as I’ve been waiting for the right time to do it, and that will be next week! There’s something seriously exciting going on right now and I cannot wait to share it with you! It’s definitely a new chapter in my life, but in the meantime, I wanted to share this outfit with you that my mum and I shot recently. I love how it turned out as I put it together on a whim to be honest, a definite spur of the moment look, but as it turns out, I absolutely love it and couldn’t wait to show you all. I was wearing a new Allsaints Tiana Halftone Slip Dress, which I layered my Allsaints Balfern Leather Biker Jacket over, and finished it off with my Sam Edelman Yaro Heels, and a Brixton Black Hat. I took this leopard print dress in size medium as I think the silky slips look a lot nicer with a looser fit, as they hang well. I absolutely love the long length slip dresses like this that Allsaints release, and this season they have so many gorgeous ones! There’s even a new pink one I like. But this particular one is called Khaki Green, and it’s a mix of brown, dark green, and blue within the leopard print, and it’s so cool! I did a post a while ago called ‘what to know before you buy an Allsaints leather jacket‘ and I spoke about sizing…

Styling A Black Summer Dress

An All Black Summer Dress Outfit Happy weekend everyone! I hope you’re all having a nice time. What have you been up to lately? I have some important news coming up that I will be sharing with you soon. It’s also my birthday on Tuesday, so that’s something I always look forward to. Anyway, I’m keeping this blog post short, so lets get to the outfit below! Since I do love wearing black, who says it’s not a Summer colour too? I think you can wear black all year round and it can look really chic and stylish as a day time dress too! This particular dress is by Abercrombie & Fitch, and I think it’s incredibly flattering. I love how it’s slim at the bust, and then floaty from the waist out, but it really enhances your body shape. I paired it with my Sam Edelman Black Sandals, and my Gucci GG Black Velvet Bag. For my jewellery, I went with my Olivia Burton watch, and I think this entire look requires some delicate and dainty rings! I have two new rings from Daisy London, as you can see below, and I am obsessed with them! Like I mentioned in my previous post, I’m really feeling gold jewellery lately! And aren’t these two rings just so pretty? The chain one is my favourite! What do you think of this outfit? Lorna xx. *Daisy London rings were gifted.

Purple, Purple, Precious, Pretty Purple

(Jeans – Similar, Jacket – Exact, Sunglasses – Exact, Bag – Exact, Boots – Exact) This is the outfit that I wore to town on Saturday with my boyfriend. I wasn’t feeling very well actually so I wasn’t really in the mood for heels and dressing up, I just put something casual together and went with it. We both ate in Giraffe for our lunch as we hadn’t been there in a long time, so we thought it would be a nice change. I had the chicken club sandwich and my boyfriend had the cheese burger, but I can never end up eating all of mine as it’s just too much food, so Adam usually eats my chips/fries. Getting back to my outfit, I wanted to wear this really pretty¬†Faux Leather Biker Jacket with Ruched Sleeves that I got to choose from Bank Clothing. It’s a gorgeous jacket and I love the moto style collar it has to it. I did just share this with you yesterday in my new purchases post and this is how it looks worn. I took a size UK 8, which is my usual size, and it fits me fine. I like the way it’s cropped a little bit and fits in a flattering way. I decided to add a mix of purple to my outfit this time (instead of my beloved burgundy) so I went for my old 7 For All Mankind Gummy Leggings in Purple. I haven’t worn these in such a long time and I had forgotten just how comfortable they are, which was perfect since I needed comfort. Keeping with the…

Something Casual For A Museum Day Out

(Jeans – Exact, Jacket – Exact, Boots – Exact, Bag – Exact) I mentioned to you previously that I went to a museum on Sunday with my boyfriend. We went to the American Museum in Bath as they had a Gangsters & Gun Slingers exhibition on. My boyfriend loves cowboys and gangsters so he loved to see the old guns and memorabilia from the famous legends all those years ago. They also had so much history there, especially to do with the Native Indians and I also found out where the saying ‘sleep tight’ came from. All those years ago when they didn’t have current beds, they had ropes crossed over each other on the bed frame, which they would place the bedding on top of, but the weight of the bedding caused the ropes to sink down, so they had a tool to tighten the ropes up to sleep straight, hence the saying, sleep tight. I thought that was really cool. I love going to museums and learning about history. The grounds there are amazing! It’s high up so it looks right over Bath and you can see so much countryside and scenery, it’s truly stunning! I had no idea just how much countryside and forest area surrounded me until I saw that! We had a biscuit and drink at the cafe, but there were wasps there and I’m so petrified of them! I would never hurt them, but I can’t stand still when one is near, I have to move away and hide, which is embarrassing because people stare at me like I’m a lunatic, ha ha. Aside…

Wearing Autumn Browns In The Summer

I’m never usually the type of person that conforms to seasonal clothes (unless it’s too hot and minimal clothing is the only option), so I don’t generally only wear browns in the Autumn, brights in the Summer etc, I prefer to wear whatever I feel like wearing on that day. This is why I am wearing what could be determined as an Autumn outfit, in the middle of Summer! I got these brown jeans and I really wanted to wear them right now, so I went down the route of pairing them with different shades of brown and cream! I’m wearing Denim of Virtue Skinny Jeans, an ASOS Squirrel Shirt, my Sam Edelman Mocassins, a Gold Becca Laws Necklace, my Mulberry Mini Taylor in Deer Brown, my Marc by Marc Jacobs Blade Chrono Watch and various Bracelets from Topshop and ASOS. As you can see just below, I have also started to include mini videos with my outfit posts. This is a new feature that I am starting and I hope you like it! A lot of you have requested that I do outfit videos as well, so hopefully this one is ok! You can see parts of my town in the video as well, which I know is always interesting! We ate at Prezzo for the first time and I actually quite liked it! You can see the food photos at the bottom of this post too! So, what do you think of the outfit and the video? Comment and let me know!

The Red & White Dress At Museo Del Costume

This is the outfit that I wore to the dinner on the second day in Florence with LuisaViaRoma. It was hosted at the beautiful Museo Del Costume which is a fashion museum, set in the most amazing grounds I have ever seen! You also get a view of Michelangelo’s house from where I was stood as well. It was just stunning there and I am so lucky to have been able to visit it and enjoy its beauty! For my outfit, I wore a Cross Bust Maxi Dress in Raspberry by Wal G with my Sam Edelman Yelena Gold Heels. I finished the look off with my Lilac Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac, a Gold Cross Necklace from Topshop and some Bracelets from ASOS and Topshop. I actually got this dress a few months ago and this is the first time I have been able to wear it. It’s just never been warm enough, but obviously in Florence, it was the perfect time to wear it! I think it’s beautiful and I love the way it fits, it’s really flattering with the cross over bust and the tie around the waist, it accentuates the figure really well! Also, you may have noticed that I am doing my text a little differently in my posts now, but everything is still available to buy! Just click the item names in the sentence above and you can shop the pieces. I thought it would be easier to actually link up the names of the clothes I am wearing instead, plus it looks neater. Anyway, what do you think of the dress? I would love…

LuisaViaRoma Firenze4Ever – The Opening Event

I’m trying to make every post of mine from my trip to Florence with LuisaViaRoma in order of how everything happened, so the post starting off the series is the opening event. We met everyone at the store for a meet and greet before being driven in cars through Tuscany (which is incredible) to Ville Le Corti for dinner. It’s a stunning place and so old! It’s got so much history to it and it’s famous for making some of the best oil/wine in the area. It’s also made of many recycled pieces, so nothing there is brand new, it’s all got some story behind it. The scenery was absolutely incredible though as I am sure you can see from the photos. It was so nice to meet Andrea, he owns LuisaViaRoma and is such a nice man, you can see one of the last photos in this post of my boyfriend and I with him and Camilla, who is also adorable! I will say though, it’s hard getting used to proper Italian foods with my food intolerance’s/allergies, but I managed. Food sort of came second to the whole event for me, plus being in such heat makes you not want to eat. It’s amazing how different everything is though, I even saw lizards running up and down the outside walls and I have never seen wild lizards here before. Anyway, this is the outfit that I wore for the opening event, my LOVE Black Hi Low Dress with my Sam Edelman Yelena Sandals which I accessorized with my Rebecca Minkoff Lilac Mini Mac and some Jewellery and a Watch…

The Blue Ombre Dip Dye High Low Dress

(Dress – Exact, Shoes – Exact, Sunglasses – Exact, Bracelets – Exact, Necklace – Exact) Isn’t this dress beautiful? I was contacted by Madam Rage and asked to style something from their site and instantly I fell in love with this one. As you know I have a weakness for anything ombre, especially in blue and white, so seeing this dress with the dipped hem at the back as well, it was love at first sight! Luckily it was really warm over the weekend so I got chance to wear it with the sunshine, so it was the perfect opportunity! I’m wearing a gorgeous Blue Ombre Dress from Madam Rage, my Sam Edelman Yelena Heels, my Ray-Ban Aviators, an ASOS Metal Key Necklace and various bracelets from ASOS and Miss Selfridge. I kept everything as simple as I could, however I always like to add some colour and sparkle here and there so I did that in the form of lots of bracelets and a pretty key necklace. I always find comfort in my Sam Edelman heels as well when it comes to dresses, they just suit them perfectly! Also, there is a bit of a suprise at the end of this post, in the form of a video, so I would love for you to scroll down and check that out! Anyway, what do you think of the outfit? Do you like it?
