Floral Dresses & Military Denim

The weather is now boiling hot again and I love it! I’m eagerly awaiting this weekend because it’s going to be roasting and I’m going to a lovely little Italian restaurant that I haven’t been to before. What are your plans for the weekend? I’m wearing a RARE blue floral dress, an old Miss Selfridge denim military waistcoat, New Look sandals, Priya Kakkar crystal bangles, a Topshop peacock ring and purple box bag and Betsey Johnson sunglasses. I love these sunglasses actually, I hadn’t ever tried Betsey Johnson ones but I fell in love with the fuchsia plastic frame and the gold detailing on the side. I’ve also had this waistcoat for a really long time, over a year, but I’ve never worn it because I couldn’t figure out what to wear it with, but it’s more wearable than I thought! I just needed a dress or skirt. As always there are more photos after the jump! (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)

The Peacock Blazer With O*T*R Jeans

Finally here is another outfit post for you all. I know it’s been a while and I’m sorry about that, I was just so busy last week. I’m really looking forward to this weekend as it’s Valentines. I can’t wait! I’ve been planning my outfit for a while as my boyfriend is taking me out to lunch at a really nice hotel and we are also going to the cinema. We finally had some nice weather for a while, well, when I say nice I mean the sun was shining through the trees but it was still really cold! I did manage to get some good photos though. I’m wearing an ASOS Peacock blazer, O*T*R skinny jeans, a River Island tank top, my Raindrop of Sapphire necklace courtesy of Sugar Raindrops, my Priya Kakkar blue and green crystal bangles and my Topshop Salma heels. As you know I adore the colour peacock and I’m kind of obsessed with this blazer. I have had it for a few months actually but for some reason I haven’t worn it for outfit posts on my blog. My Azendi Valentines giveaway is ending on the 10th so make sure you get your entries in! There were already 196 entries last time I checked. Click here to enter. Pretty Purple Prima Ballerina

So, I haven’t yet shared with you on Raindrops of Sapphire my own jeans. I’ve only shown them on DenimBlog quite a few months ago. These are my own jeans that I designed by myself for a brand called Prima Jeans. The brand was just launching and they asked me to design a pair for myself as a one off to keep for forever. This particular design I didn’t want to go into production. I chose a really dark and clean blue for the wash of the jeans, I picked purple stitching to contrast it and I chose purples and pink for the signature Prima pocket design. The button also has a purple crystal in the middle and I opted for longer ankle zips with denim bows at the top of them. I love bows! Everything about these jeans is my own design, from the fit, the measurements, the pocket positioning and style to the aesthetics of the jeans. I’m actually really happy with the way they turned out and I love them so much! 🙂 I wore my jeans with my Christian Louboutin Fuxia Square Suede Declics, my ASOS purple top and my new Chamak swarovski bangles by Priya Kakkar. I know these jeans are not everyone’s cup of tea but they are mine and I’m very excited I did get the chance to do this! I want to eventually have my own jeans line and be designing jeans for everyone to wear. That’s my goal! I do have a couple of things in the works at the moment with a denim brand which I can’t say anything about…

Chamak Jewellery By Priya Kakkar

I’ve recently fallen in love with Priya Kakkar’s Chamak Jewellery as it’s gorgeous! I am besotted with crystals, anytime I see something with them I have to pick it up because I love how much they shine! The entire collection is made of crystals, glass and beads! Priya’s native Indian culture and professional background in accessories makes the line so gorgeous! These images are taken from Gilt Groupe but the sale has now ended unfortunately. I managed to score the blue bangle set pictured below but their stuff is pretty expensive! I had to share this jewellery with you because it’s so me! I hope I can buy more in the future! I wish I could have picked up the pinks and the purples and the multi coloured bangles too! Hopefully they have another sale with the brand soon so I can!
