Allsaints Tan Suede Balfern With Flared Jeans

Allsaints Suede Balfern With Cropped Flared Jeans Happy Monday everyone! I hope your week goes well! The weather finally warmed up somewhat recently and my mum and I were able to go out and shoot some photos for a little while, making sure to avoid anyone else out walking since we’re still in lockdown. How are you all anyway? For this outfit, I put together something a little bit different, but also classic for me. I wore my new Allsaints Tan Suede Balfern Jacket that I got in a size up so that I could wear it over my 525 Roll Neck Jumper in Cream. I then styled it with my new PAIGE Claudine Cropped Flares in Seaspray Distressed, which I wrapped my Gucci Mini Belt in Tan around the waist, and then finished it off with my Topshop Snake Print Boots. Now you know me, I’m always a skinny jeans girl and I rarely ever wear anything but skinny jeans, but when I saw these PAIGE Jeans, I fell in love with them. The cropped flared fit is the perfect length for my shorter height, as it means I can wear them almost full length. Plus, they’re super comfortable and the wash is beautiful, so I’m thinking of reviewing these jeans soon on The Jeans Blog. I will let you know when I do! Now getting to the suede jacket, isn’t it incredible? You’ve probably read my Allsaints Balfern Leather Jacket review before, but if you haven’t, you will know that the Balfern is my favourite design of theirs. I own numerous jackets in that cut, and this one…

The Tan Coat & Burberry Scarf

The Tan Brown Coat And Burberry Scarf I’ve had this Topshop Tan Coat for years (you may remember it from this post) but I haven’t ever worn it since the first time as I’ve always felt it was too big. It is quite largely fitted, but as it’s absolutely freezing now and I need to layer up, I thought it was time to wear it as it’s a coat that fits over the top of thick knitwear. When I look back at those photos from 2013, I really notice how far I’ve come with blogging and how much better the photography/editing is as the years have gone on. I feel like I’ve changed a lot too, especially facially as I don’t have the baby face look as much anymore, thankfully! I decided to pair my Topshop Tan Coat with my PAIGE Verdugo Transcend Jeans in Black Shadow, an ALLSAINTS Knitted Jumper, my new Burberry Large Chestnut Brown Scarf, my Celine Nano Luggage, and my Celtic & Co. Chelsea Boots. Wow that’s a lot! I always forget how many layers I have to wear when it’s this cold. I thought the whole combination of black, brown and cream was really nice together and complemented the scarf beautiful, especially with the coat too. I’d wanted a cashmere Burberry scarf for so long and I finally picked one up when I was in London, so I’m happily wearing it now! Anyway, this might be one of my favourite outfits for Autumn! I also really like how the photos turned out as the location is very London inspired as well. What do you think?…

Lace Up

LNA Esperenza Lace Up Top With Black Skinny Jeans Remember my lace up shirt blouse that I wore with my leather pants a little while ago? Well my love for lace up tops has grown even stronger and I’m becoming obsessed – as I do. I was looking for a lace up top that was a little more casual though and in a neutral colour, so this LnA Esperenza Lace Up Top in Scour (buy here on sale) ended up being ideal. It’s a linen made, long sleeve top, so it’s very easy breezy for the warmer weather, but super cute at the same time. For this outfit, I wanted to keep everything neutral and warm, so I went with a black base for the denim, wearing my Paige Transcend Verudgo Cropped Skinny Jeans in Jett Black Destructed (buy here). These jeans are so comfortable and have one of the most perfect fits, so I definitely recommend them to you! Since these jeans are cropped, they pair nicely with my Celtic & Co. Chelsea Boots (similar here on sale) that I live in currently. If you haven’t yet tried them, you should! The direct buying link is below. For the accessories, again, I wanted to keep things minimal and toned down so it was an easy ensemble, but one that still showed it was warm outside. I chose my beautiful TRIWA Turtle Bonnie Sunglasses (similar here) which I still absolutely adore, my Chloe Nano Drew Bag in Off White (buy here) and my Our Theory Of Brushed Rose Gold Watch again – it goes with everything. Plus, since my lipstick…

What I Wore To The Paige Denim x Selfridges Launch

(Overalls – Exact, Shoes – Exact, Top – Exact, Sunglasses – Exact, Watch – Exact) This is the outfit that I wore on Thursday to the Paige Denim x Selfridges launch event in London, hosted by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Paige now has a boutique inside Selfridges in the denim department and it’s beautiful. The launch event saw her and Rosie doing interviews and talking about Rosie being the new face of the brand. I was there with a few other celebs, fashion bloggers and people who got invited and it was lovely to see Paige again. It’s been a while since I have seen her and I’m glad we got to catch up, that goes for her husband Michael too. I was wearing my Paige Denim Rikki Shortalls in Black for the evening, paired with a cropped white top and also my Heavenly black sandals from Topshop. For my accessories, I chose my Ray-Ban Erika sunglasses in purple and my Olivia Burton humming bird watch paired with a couple of bracelets. It’s a pretty simple and easy going outfit, one that was actually perfect for the travelling and kept me quite cool too since it was boiling. I did also have my Balenciaga Mini City for the event, but not for the actual outfit photos as it was quite dark against the shortalls. You can see lots of photos from the night and my outfit below, including photos of Rosie and Paige. What do you think of the outfit? I always love to read your comments.

Purple Berry Plaids In The Spring

(Jeans – Exact, Shirt – Exact, Bag – Exact, Wellies – Exact, Top – Exact) Just over a week ago I wore this outfit to go out to town with my boyfriend. The rain was pouring down to begin with, so I opted to wear a pair of my wellies so I didn’t have to worry about puddles or ruining my shoes. In true British style though, the rain went off after only a few minutes and was dry for the remainder of the day, well, mostly! So there I am walking around in my Hunter Short Ruby Gloss Wellies while everyone else was in regular shoes! Anyway, I decided to pair them with my AG Adriano Goldschmied The Legging Jeans in 18 Years Stone and my Paige Plaid Kadie Shirt. I’ve actually had this shirt for about a year, but have never worn it on the blog before as it’s incredibly casual, but since the colour combination of it is so beautiful and perfect for Spring, I thought why not! Plus, it paired perfectly with my new Rebecca Minkoff Mini Affair Bag in Tortora! To darken things down a little bit so that the outfit wasn’t too pale to go with the wellies, I went with my River Island Purple Vest Top and it actually turned out to almost be an identical match! So this was just a really comfortable look for me. In other news, I have two really exciting projects which I’m working on right now, one to do with a company and one to do with myself, both of which will be revealed soon and I…

Black Peplum With White Skinny Jeans

(Jeans – Exact & Similar, Top – Similar, Shoes – Exact, Shrug – Similar, Bag – Similar, Watch – Similar & Similar) Sorry for not having posted an outfit in almost a week! I actually have a lot backed up now so the next few posts are all going to be outfits, so that should make up for lost time! I wore this outfit yesterday and we found an adorable location to shoot the photos, right next to the farm. There’s some new pigs in the field and they were so sweet! You can always see my real time outfits and photos on my Instagram though, @LornaRaindrops. I actually really like the black and white combination these days, it’s becoming more of a go to for me and so are more sophisticated and classy pieces (UK weather provided). These gorgeous jeans are the Paige Denim Jane zip skinny jeans in White (similar here), which are en exclusive to Trilogy London. They are amazing as they aren’t see through! Most white jeans are completely sheer and you can see your underwear, but these are lined really nicely so they cover everything. I paired them with my Topshop Black Peplum top and my faithful Christian Louboutin Black Pigalle heels for the day. I also took my Grey Zara Shrug with me to keep the chill off, but it was pretty warm so I didn’t need it all that much. Since black, white and grey can be quite plain, I always like to dress it up with a hint of colour, which is why I chose my Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac in Port,…

Burgundy Coated Jeans, Embellised In The Rain

(Jeans – Similar, Coat – Exact, Jumper – Similar, Shoes – Similar, Bag – Similar) I wore this outfit a couple of weekends ago because according to my weather report, it was supposed to be sunny without any rain. Typically I opted for my suede boots and bag and within 10 minutes of being out, it poured down… Gotta love England, lol. Luckily we found a really big umbrella outside a restaurant to take shelter under and I of course took my waterproof carry bag to put my Balenciaga Mini City in Black Suede in, to keep it from getting damaged! I did also have an umbrella as I do always go out prepared! I hadn’t worn these Paige Edgemont Coated Skinny Jeans in Aged Woodberry in a while, not since the last time I wore them on my blog actually, so I thought it was about time that I brought them out again! I really do love the colour of them and the zipper details at the hips, they are so pretty. I like the idea of pairing burgundy with grey at the moment which is why I opted for my Urban Outfitter Embellished Jumper and then chose my Warehouse Faux Fur Collar Grey Coat to layer over the top. Two different shades of grey and some embellishment to keep it from looking too dull! Finally, I wore my KG by Kurt Geiger Winona Boots to finish everything off. I’m sure you know by now just how much I love these boots! I’ve worn them countless times on the blog and they were probably my best investment in terms…

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I wanted to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas for 2013! I’ve been feeling really festive this year and have been enjoying Christmas jumpers, decorations, present shopping and everything! It’s been so much fun! Last year I wore a little Santa hat to wish you all a Happy Christmas, so this year I thought it would be cool to make this Christmas post really inventive, so I dressed up like an Elf! I wore my Paige Paisley Print Green Jeans with my ASOS Red Ribbon Reindeer Jumper. I thought the red and green was a good option for dressing up like an Elf and then I found the perfect Elf hat in Clintons last week! It has bells all over it so it sounds really jingly when I walk as well, ha ha. I was hoping to find the perfect location for this outfit, so I actually went into town to shoot the photos by the new Aspen style Ski Lodge which just moved in for Christmas. It’s decorated perfectly with trees, logs and lights and the best thing about it? All of the fake snow! It was the perfect setting! I hope you all have a wonderful day today and enjoy it with your family! Merry Christmas everyone and thank you so much for all of the support you give me! Lorna xx.
