Keeping It Casual In Skinny Jeans & Trainers

(Jeans – Similar, Top – Similar, Shoes – Exact, Earrings – Exact, Necklace – Similar, Bag – Similar, Watch – Similar) When the sneakers/trainers trend became fashionable again earlier this year, I wasn’t really feeling it and I didn’t want to jump on board. While I think they look cool in neon colours when worn with cuffed skinny jeans or pants, I don’t like them worn with dresses, skirts or more dressier pieces. Even though I am attracted to the bright shades, my feet are pretty big in proportion to my legs, which often means that I can only pick flat shoes that are slim, or I risk looking like the next Crusty the clown! One pair of trainers that came out a little while ago though was these ASH Dino Trainers in Beige from Daniel Footwear. The thing that attracted me to them and made me fall in love with them was the fact that they do have a concealed wedge inside which you can’t really see, yet they still remain sporty. It’s somewhat of a refreshing change actually walking around in trainers at the moment! I’m so used to heels or espadrilles, I had forgotten the hidden comforts of sports shoes and considering I used to live in them when I was younger, that’s saying something! I genuinely adore these though due to them being a versatile colour, I’ve worn them plenty of times for shopping and my day trip to Wales last week, however I decided to wear them then with neon orange socks to be different! You can see an Instagram photo of that by clicking…

The Camo Print Jacket With Skinny Jeans

(Jeans – Exact & Similar, Jacket – Exact & Similar, Shoes – Similar, Bag – Similar, Watch – Similar) It’s been pretty chilly and wet this weekend, so I opted for something a little more casual and comfortable for my usual Saturday out with my boyfriend routine. I went with my new favourite Rag & Bone Skinny Jeans in Sonoma and paired them with a simple white Zara Tee and a Topshop Camo Jacket layered over the top. I was addicted to this jacket last year, but I haven’t really worn it much this year so far, that’s why I thought it was about time I wore it again! It runs huge and if you are interested in buying it on eBay, I’m usually a UK 6-8 in Topshop, however this one ended up being a UK 4 due to it running big. For those interested in my jeans too, I took a size 27 and they run quite tight, but that’s how I like them to fit. For my shoes, I went with my Topshop Hidden Heel Trainers in Tan and then wore my Olivia Burton Butterfly Watch on my wrist and carried my Mulberry Mini Taylor in Deer Brown. PLEASE VOTE FOR ME! I put that in bold so I hope you will read it! I have been shortlisted by Company magazine for ‘Best Designed Blog’ and that means so much to me! I work so hard on making sure my layout is pretty, neat and interactive, so to be shortlisted for an award is wonderful! I’m on page 3 with 9 other shortlisted bloggers, so if you…

My Favourite Bags

I thought it would be nice to share with you some of my favourite bags that I own. I usually always get asked what my favourite jeans are, so I thought it might be a good idea to also share my favourite bags with you too! You will have noticed already that I have a lot of smaller bags, often the mini versions or small cross-body bags as I don’t like bigger ones. Sometimes if I am travelling quite far, I will need a bigger tote to carry all of my things in, but for day to day things, I always have really small bags. I have delicate shoulders that tend to pop out of their sockets so I can’t carry anything heavy without causing myself pain. Plus, since I’m quite small, bigger bags tend to overwhelm me and make me look even smaller, which is often another reason for choosing smaller bags too. So, onto my 8 favourite bags from my collection! Above is my Balenciaga Mini City Baby Diam Bag in Black Suede. You all know already that I sold about 20 pairs of jeans to get this bag! There was no way that I could ever afford a Balenciaga or even save for it at a fast pace, so the only solution was selling a lot of my own things. It was definitely worth it though! I don’t really own black bags and this one has had so much use already! It’s made with such attention to detail, it’s soft, it’s not too heavy and it looks beautiful too! It couldn’t be more perfect if it tried…

The Pastel Pink Zara Coat With Grey Skinny Jeans

(Coat – Similar & Similar, Jeans – Exact, Tee – Exact, Boots – Exact, Bag – Similar, Watch – Exact, Necklace – Similar) I wore this outfit over the weekend when I went out to lunch and did some light shopping with my boyfriend. I got this stunning pastel pink coat from Zara when I saw it online last week, I ordered it the same time I ordered a blue version of my yellow coat and I couldn’t love them more! This coat is so beautiful! The colour is perfect for my paler skin tone and it actually matches a lot of things, however I decided to go with a grey theme. I wore my 7 For All Mankind grey skinny jeans with my Topshop grey tee and Kurt Geiger Winona boots. I think grey and pink is a great combination and it wasn’t really something I thought about wearing until I wore my grey and pink outfit under the blossom tree a few weeks ago. On to my accessories, I chose my Mulberry Lily in candy pink denim, a Topshop cross necklace and some various bracelets. The best thing of all though is this new arm candy! I got this gorgeous Caravelle Melissa watch from Shade Station last week and it’s beautiful! Rose gold is one of my favourites and I wasn’t very familiar with the brand before, but it’s so pretty! I love the face of it and how delicate it is, it’s not too big or too small, so it’s the perfect size! You will definitely be seeing a lot more of this watch in my outfits…

Under The Pretty Pink Blossom Tree

(Jeans – Similar, Top – Similar, Blazer – Similar, Shoes – Exact & Similar, Bag – Similar, Necklace – Exact) Spring is such a beautiful season isn’t it? I’m not a huge fan of Winter, not just because it’s freezing, wet and windy, but because there’s no colour. When Spring finally arrives and the flowers start to bloom, it really cheers me up and reminds me just how pretty the world is. I’ve always loved pastel pink blossom ever since I was little, there’s just something about it which is so beautiful. I think seeing pink trees when I’m out is what makes me love it so much, it’s such a pretty change from the usual green or orange Autumn leaves! It just so happened to work out really well for these photos in terms of scenery though! I had put this outfit together and we were looking around for the perfect location to shoot the photos. It turns out that the place we chose has a beautiful blossom tree in the background, so it couldn’t have been more perfect to match my pink inspired outfit! For my look here, I wore my Yoga Jeans in Black which are gorgeous! They have a knitted back so they are a super soft ponte material and then a coated black denim on the front, so they look like jeans. I find them so flattering and comfortable, it’s crazy how stretchy they are! I paired them with a simple pastel pink t-shirt from H&M and then layered over my new Zara Grey Blazer. I purchased this blazer at the same time I got…

Denim On Denim On Denim

(Jeans – Exact, Shirt – Similar, Shoes – Exact, Bag – Similar) Those of you who have followed my blog for a while or know me quite well will already know that I do have such an obsession with denim. I thought I would pay a tribute to that and wear an all denim look! I have on a triple denim outfit here as the bag is even made of it! I decided to wear my new Citizens of Humanity Rocket Skinny Jeans in Byron Bay which I paired with my Topshop Denim Shirt. I wanted to bring a little bit of colour to the outfit so chose my Mulberry Alexa Clutch in Loopy Leopard Denim. For my shoes, I wanted something neutral, but wanted a pastel colour instead of nude, so I opted for my new ASOS Pastel Pink Heels, the same ones you just saw in my Valentine’s Day outfit. I always seem to feel at my most comfortable when I’m wearing denim, or just jeans in general. There is something about the fabric that makes me feel relaxed and at ease, I have no idea why. I hope you are all having a lovely week! As always, let me know what you think of the outfit in the comments below!

Valentine’s Day In Romantic Pink

(Dress – Exact, Blazer – Similar, Shoes – Exact, Bag – Similar, Necklace – Similar) Happy Valentine’s Day everyone, for yesterday! I wanted to share with you another Valentine’s Day inspired outfit, but this one is different to my previous one as it’s baby pink and white instead of dark burgundy. I wanted to go for something a little more girly and romantic this time around. If you are thinking that I must have been freezing taking these photos, you are correct, ha ha. I was wearing a baby pink dress from ASOS and a pair of their pastel pink heels to match. I layered my Zara white blazer over the top and wore my Mulberry denim candy pink Lily bag as well. The rose that I’m holding was what my boyfriend gave to me yesterday, I thought it added a nice touch to the look. I also had on my Topshop necklace which I have worn quite a few times before. I didn’t take any photos while I was out yesterday as I wanted to enjoy the day with my boyfriend without any photo stress, but we did go out to lunch at our favourite Italian and then watched a movie at the cinema. It was a really nice day together and I had fun! I hope you all had a lovely Valentine’s Day too! What do you think of the outfit?

Tan, Leopard And Blue Denim

(Jeans – Similar, Jacket – Similar, Scarf – Similar, Shoes – Similar, Bag – Exact) On Sunday, I set my boyfriend a challenge and that was to put an outfit together for me. He actually has a great fashion sense himself, we often go shopping together and I always ask if he likes certain things that I plan on buying etc, so I was confident that he would do a good job. I have to say, I definitely think he did with this outfit! I did give him a helping hand with the shoes and I did personally pick the scarf, but he chose the rest of the look. I wore my Zara Tan Faux Leather Jacket over a simple White Tee from H&M. For my jeans, I had on my Koral Los Angeles Skinny Jeans which I am a huge fan of! I love these! I wore my older Topshop Leopard Scarf around my neck and then added my Mulberry Lily Bag in Oak too! For my shoes, I had on my Topshop Gabbi Heels in Nude. I think the whole combination is really lovely and simple, but it looks quite put together. I’m finally thankful that the rain had stopped for the day on Sunday and it was really nice out. The sun was shining, despite it being really cold, but the sky was blue and the air was fresh, so it was a really welcome change. I just hope we get more weather like this now as the Spring approaches! Did you all have a nice weekend? And as usually, I would love to know what you…
