Styling A Going Out Look On A Budget
Netvouchercodes.co.uk gave me an imaginary budget of £100 to create an outfit using items from brands they represent. These items had to have a deal going on, so for example, they needed to be in the sale, have a discount code or on a special offer, in order to qualify as part of the outfit. I’ve had a lot of fun collaborating with them on this as I love to make up and plan outfits! My total imaginary money spent for this whole look was actually £92, so I was well within the budget for this outfit! I chose a black and white thick striped skirt with a burgundy cropped jumper, both in the sale from Topshop. I love black and white stripes at the moment as you know, I love how well they go with burgundy! I would actually wear the jumper with the sleeves rolled up for style. I then chose a pair of black platform sandals in the sale from Miss Selfridge to keep within the style and to elongate the legs. For the accessories, I chose a black heart ring and a gold/silver beaded bracelet pack, both from Miss Selfridge which offer 10% off for students, so if I was a student, I would use this discount. Then lastly, for nail polish, I chose a metallic red for most of my nails and then a gold shade for the ring fingers. Both of these are from Topshop and on offer at the moment, 2 for £10.
