Styling The Chi Chi London Tori Wrap Dress Isn’t this dress gorgeous? It’s a Chi Chi London Satin Cami Strap Wrap Midi Bridesmaid Dress in Orange, which is very much like a beautiful coral shade. I styled it with a pair of Kurt Geiger Nude Heels, that I’ve had for over 8 years, and my Valentino Lock Bag in Ivory, with my Nordgreen Rose Gold The Unika Watch. I think the nude tones work really well with the pop of bright orange, and I absolutely love how this looks. This dress was gifted to me by Chi Chi London, and I went for a size UK 12, as I know their dresses can run quite small, especially in the chest department, but I think I could have probably gotten away with a 10 actually as there was room in it. The length is perfect on my 5ft 4″ frame, when I’m wearing 4.5 inch heels, so if you are on the petite side, keep that in mind! I think the belted waist around the wrap detail is extremely flattering! I always find wrap dresses enhance my figure beautifully, and the belt just pulls that all together, especially with the lower cut neckline. I couldn’t ask for a more flattering dress shape for my body, in my opinion. The leg slit just makes it even more pretty! Please do let me know what you think of this outfit in the comments below! Kurt Geiger Carvela Karen Platform Sandals in Tan

Kurt Geiger Carvela Karen Platform Sandals in Tan I asked on Instagram about 8 weeks ago now which style shoe you preferred out of a choice of these and another pair from Kurt Geiger. These actually came second and the other pair won hands down, however when I tried those on in the store, they looked terrible on me and didn’t suit my legs at all. After seeing these gorgeous Kurt Geiger Carvela Karen Platform Sandals in there too, I fell in love. These Karen platform sandals have a 70’s edge to them which is perfect, but they have a much more modern twist to them. In short, I absolutely love them! They are built on a solid 100mm wooden heel with quite a thick platform so the actual steepness of the shoe is not high at all as you can see from the shape of my foot, making them incredibly easy to walk in. They feature studs around the front of the tan leather and an ankle strap which fastens with a buckle so they stay securely on your feet without slipping. In terms of sizing for the Karen platforms, they do run small. I’m usually a 39 or a UK 6 in Kurt Geiger and I had to size up to a 40 or UK 7 in these when I got them from Debenhams. The 6 did fit, but I had a bulge of my foot coming out the sides and there was a little over hang at the back from the length, so definitely take your bigger size in these if you plan on buying them as…

The Summer Dress With The Pink Roses

(Dress – Similar, Bag – Exact, Watch – Exact, Shoes – Similar, Necklace – Similar) First off I want to start by saying that I apologise for the lack of photos in this post, but I had some issues with my MacBook not saving the images correctly and I lost about 75% of them. It’s been so annoying since I lost all of the detailed shots of my bag, jewellery, shoes etc and I only ended up with 4 photos left from the whole shoot. Luckily I did upload a couple of shots to my Instagram (@LornaRaindrops) on the day of the photo shoot so I have managed to incorporate those as well, but again, I apologise for no real close up photos of the shoes and things. It’s been a nightmare! Those of you who have been a fan of my blog for a long time will know that I have had this floral River Island dress for a few years and each Summer I tend to break it out and style it in a different way. I’ve worn it before here and here and this is the first time that I have tied a black belt around the middle to make it a little different. I paired this dress with my Kurt Geiger Nina sandals which I got in the sale a few weeks ago. For my accessories, I chose my Cambridge Satchel Mini in Neon Pink, my Olivia Burton pink and gold watch, some various bracelets and my Swarovski Heart necklace. Currently Craving – June

I’ve selected 20 items again, from across the web, which are currently on my wish list and I would love to own! While I was working on this post, I actually scooped up that floral Topshop dress as it was too gorgeous to pass on! I also recently acquired the AG Adriano Goldschmied jeans below too, but they are so gorgeous, I just had to include them in the wish list! If I could recommend two lip products to you then it definitely would be the Baby Lips and the Pixi Lip Balms. Both of those are amazing! The Baby Lips is like a lip balm that hydrates, but it gives a subtle pink tone to your lips while the Pixi products are actually stains in a balm. They hydrate and moisturise your lips while staining them and it seriously lasts a long time! I know some of you might be wondering about that engagement ring up there too. I’m not getting married, it’s just a ring I have always wanted, as in the princess cut diamond on a platinum band. It’s so pretty! So here is my June guide! The Oversized Green Plaid Shirt

(Jeans – Exact, Shirt – Exact, Bag – Exact, Boots – Similar, Sunglasses – Exact, Watch – Exact) I wore this outfit yesterday when I went to the cinema with my boyfriend. We watched Captain America 2 at a half 11 showing in the morning and then went for a walk around town afterwards. I absolutely love Captain America as you may have already noticed before, so I wasn’t disappointed by the film at all! After the movie, we headed up the top of town and found this beautiful art museum in an old house. It was really picturesque and just as you would imagine old England to be. The grounds were lovely and that’s where we decided to shoot our photos for the day. I’m so glad the weather has made a turn around, it’s been warm and sunny for a while now! It’s exciting to us Brits! I wore my Urban Renewal Oversized Green Plaid Shirt over a simple white tee from H&M. I actually got this shirt off the mannequin in Urban Outfitters as it was the only one in this colour combination. It’s such a bright and intense green, I didn’t even worry that it’s much too big for me. I think it looks fine when it’s worn slouchy anyway. I paired it with my classic Black Levi’s Skinny Jeans and KG by Kurt Geiger Winona Boots as I love these boots with these jeans, they really lengthen my legs as they are the same colour. The Zara Pastel Blue Leather Jacket

(Jeans – Similar & Similar, Jacket – Exact & Exact, Top – Exact, Boots – Similar) This Zara Pastel Blue Faux Leather Jacket had been on my want list for absolutely ages! As soon as it came in stock online it had sold out and wasn’t available at most stores. It was already selling for £100 plus on eBay, which I wasn’t willing to pay, but I somehow managed to find it at the store in Bristol! I had it reserved and picked it up the next day, which I was ecstatic about as it’s amazing. Pastel blue leather jackets are so popular right now and a lot of people are spotted out in their own, but I wanted to style mine with another pastel colour and some black. I chose my Hush Neon Purple Tee and then my old James Jeans Moto Jeans in Blackout. I have had these jeans for a few years and I still love them as much as I did in the beginning. They are super skinny and have an amazing fit, which is something I always look for in denim! To keep with the black theme to make my legs look longer, I wore my trusty KG by Kurt Geiger Winona boots. Burgundy Coated Jeans, Embellised In The Rain

(Jeans – Similar, Coat – Exact, Jumper – Similar, Shoes – Similar, Bag – Similar) I wore this outfit a couple of weekends ago because according to my weather report, it was supposed to be sunny without any rain. Typically I opted for my suede boots and bag and within 10 minutes of being out, it poured down… Gotta love England, lol. Luckily we found a really big umbrella outside a restaurant to take shelter under and I of course took my waterproof carry bag to put my Balenciaga Mini City in Black Suede in, to keep it from getting damaged! I did also have an umbrella as I do always go out prepared! I hadn’t worn these Paige Edgemont Coated Skinny Jeans in Aged Woodberry in a while, not since the last time I wore them on my blog actually, so I thought it was about time that I brought them out again! I really do love the colour of them and the zipper details at the hips, they are so pretty. I like the idea of pairing burgundy with grey at the moment which is why I opted for my Urban Outfitter Embellished Jumper and then chose my Warehouse Faux Fur Collar Grey Coat to layer over the top. Two different shades of grey and some embellishment to keep it from looking too dull! Finally, I wore my KG by Kurt Geiger Winona Boots to finish everything off. Simply Monochrome

(Jeans – Exact ON SALE, Blazer – Similar, Tee – Exact, Clutch – Similar, Shoes – Similar, Watch – Exact, Necklace – Exact, Bracelet – Exact) I have always been a fan of the monochrome look when it’s in black, white and grey, but because of my addiction to colour, it’s something that I never usually wear. This year though I have made a promise to myself to try and do things that scare me and push my boundaries a bit, along with trying out combinations of clothes that I don’t usually entertain. For this outfit, I wore my new 7 For All Mankind Ankle Zip Skinny Jeans in Grey which I recently purchased on sale. I had been eying these for ages and I was so excited when I found them even cheaper! It was such an amazing deal! I took a size down in these jeans though, for those of you interested, as I heard they run really big, so you might want to take that into consideration when buying them yourself. They are absolutely amazing though! They have finally filled that void I had when it comes to grey jeans. These are the perfect shade, the perfect fit and are so comfortable! You will definitely be seeing these a lot more in up and coming outfit posts, that’s for sure! To keep things classic, I chose to pair the jeans with a lighter Grey Topshop Tee, then layer my Zara White Blazer over the top and add my KG by Kurt Geiger Eleanor Gold/Nude Heels to the mix.
