Levi’s Sherpa Double Denim Jacket Outfit

Winter Double Denim Style In A Levi’s Sherpa Jacket Winter is so gloomy isn’t it? I feel like these photos capture a pretty true British winter – gritty, dark, miserable looking, wet… what we have grown accustomed too, but it gives a sense of character to the photos. I wonder if our weather is the reason behind why we’re such a miserable nation? Ha ha. This set was shot around new year so literally right in the middle of the cold, but of course it was raining too and this time I didn’t want to wear rain clothes. As much as I love them, it can get tiresome wearing them pretty much everyday thanks to out constant sky shower. Getting to the outfit, I chose to wear my Levi’s Men’s Sherpa Denim Jacket (seen before here) over an ALLSAINTS Roll Neck Jumper that I’ve worn so many times. It’s really thick and warm, so that underneath the thick denim jacket is a combination that kept me nice and toasty. As I love two different shades for double denim, I wore my J Brand Maria Skinny Jeans in Dove as grey and blue are perfect together, then opted for my Sam Edelman Petty Booties. I haven’t worn these in years! I’ve owned them since 2011 (I think) and they are still serving me well. Since it was raining, I wore my Rebecca Mnikoff Mini Mac as I don’t like to wear my designer bags when it’s wet, and then finished it off with my trusty Topshop Scarf. I’ve worn this scarf with almost everything! It’s such a versatile colour. I’m still…

My 1000th Post & A Classic Autumn Outfit

(Jeans – Similar & Similar, Blazer – Similar, T-Shirt – Similar, Shoes – Similar, Bag – Similar, Sunglasses – Exact, Earrings – Exact) Firstly, I wanted to start this blog post off by saying that I’ve sort of reached a milestone here on Raindrops of Sapphire. I have now published 1000 posts! Since I started my blog back in March 2010, I can’t believe I have managed to achieve that many blog posts in 4 years. When I think about how long a blog post can take me (up to 5 hours with everything involved), that’s a lot of hours spent here! It’s only made possible though with the support that you all give me, so thank you so much! It’s only improved and come on leaps and bounds as the months go by, so I am definitely excited to see what the future holds, especially for us fashion bloggers! Getting to my outfit, this is a simple look that I wore to town a couple of weekends ago. I hadn’t worn these J Brand 910 skinny jeans in Coated Red in a while, I’ve actually had them for years, but I do love to try them now and again to get my coated red addiction under control! I paired them with a simple grey tee from ASOS and then my Zara zipper black blazer, which I am adoring at the moment! For my shoes, you probably remember my Giuseppe Zanotti loafers that I got in Italy last year, well I decided to go with those to smarten up a causal look. I usually have a lot of trouble with…

Comfortable in J Brand Kassidy Jeans

(Jeans – Exact & Similar, Top – Similar, Shoes – Exact & Similar) This is just a very comfortable outfit that I wore a couple of weeks ago. I got these gorgeous J Brand Kassidy cargo jeans from Trilogy and they are so nice! Super stretchy, comfortable and soft and they can be worn with both flats and heels! I decided to pair them with my Zara yellow sweater (yes, you have seen this in multiple colours!) and then my Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 heels in Black! It’s a super simple outfit, I didn’t even wear any jewellery, but I think the red lipstick really makes it pop that little bit extra! Don’t forget to enter my Ray-Ban Mirrored Aviator Sunglasses giveaway! You can win one of three colours; red, green or blue, and I’ve already received a tonne of entries! Valentine’s Day In Burgundy Monochrome

(Jeans – Similar & Exact, Blazer – Similar, Shirts – Similar, Shoes – Similar, Bag – Similar) Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you for tomorrow! This isn’t the outfit I’m wearing for it, but it’s one that I put together as I was inspired by the love red colour scheme. It’s a monochrome burgundy look! I’ve mixed different textures, prints and colours though so it doesn’t look too much like a suit and the pieces stay as individuals. The reason I’m posting this today instead of tomorrow though is because I’m spending actual Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend and making a day of it, I’m very excited! What are your plans? I was wearing my older J Brand Skinny Jeans in Velvet Lava with my Topshop Red Heart Print Shirt. I think these two work together quite well as the combination of velvet with a light printed shirt looks quite good. I wore my Zara Burgundy Blazer over the top for warmth though. I was deciding on the black blazer that I have, but it just didn’t look right. I did choose my Topshop Black Heels though as I thought having burgundy shoes would make it too much, ha ha. For my accessories, I chose my Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAB in Port and some loose gold bangles and then finished off with a cherry red lip. What do you think of the outfit? Comment and let me know as always! I love reading what you have to say! You can also check out my last minute Valentine’s Day gift guide if you are stuck for ideas!

Grey Skinny Jeans For A Grey Day

(Jeans – Similar, Jumper – Similar, Shoes – Similar, Watch – Exact, Case – Exact) This is a really simple and casual outfit that I wore a couple of weekends ago. I hadn’t worn J Brand in ages, so I decided to pull out my older J Brand skinny jeans in grey, but since they fit me a little bit loosely now, I thought they looked better with a cuff at the hems. It adds that extra bit of ease to the look as well I find. Since I wanted to be comfortable, I threw on my oversized cream Zara knitted jumper and pushed the sleeves up. This trusty jumper has been so useful! I’ve worn it numerous times and absolutely adore it! I don’t think it was originally designed to be oversized, but I took a size large in it so that it was. I didn’t want my entire outfit to be completely casual, so I wore my Topshop mint metallic toe cap heels, just to smarten it up a little bit. I love these shoes! I did recently share them with you in one of my new purchases posts and I honestly can’t believe I won them for about £7 on eBay! You can always get some amazing deals there! As the outfit colour scheme was quite muted with grey and cream, I wanted to add a little pop of colour, so I took my Marc by Marc Jacobs neon yellow neoprene iPhone case with me and also wore my Katula Kiss neon yellow and green bracelets to go with my Michael Kors Slim Runway watch in silver.…

Spring 2013 Press Days: Lulu Guinness, Coach, Dodo, J Brand, Diesel, MiH, Acne & …

Instead of making separate posts for my press day visits this season, I decided to compile them all together in one big post. Unfortunately for Spring/Summer 2013 I am not able to share with you the entire collections as it’s too soon, so I am only allowed to show a few photos for each collection. I did however choose the best ones and my favourite pieces so I think you will like it! This post includes the Lulu Guinness, Diesel, Coach, J Brand, Acne, MiH, Dodo and Pinko (in order) Spring/Summer 2013 collections. I do have some other brands, but those are not allowed to be posted until January/February time. Comment and let me know your favourites!

Cute Little Bunnies

(Jeans – Exact, Jumper – Similar, Shoes – Exact, Bag – Similar, Watch – Similar) You may wonder why the leaves in these pictures are green, well the answer to that is because I took them a few months ago, but I completely forgot about them. Since I don’t have an outfit post for today, I thought it would be a good idea to post this one. It’s very fitting since it’s raining today anyway and it was during these photos too. I’m wearing J Brand Jodhpur jeans, a Topshop Bunny jumper, an ASOS neon yellow bag, burgundy t-shirt and rainbow watch and my ASH Bowie wedge trainers. I know I usually wear heels a lot, and more dressier outfits sometimes in my outfit posts, but for casual rainy days I do like to wear simple and easy clothes like this. Granted I am still in a type of heel since these are wedge trainers, but still, I think it counts. I also really love the cuteness of this bunny jumper, I got it a really long time ago when I saw it and had to scoop it up.

Red Velvet For Autumn

(Jeans – Exact, T-Shirt – Exact, Jacket – Similar, Collar – Similar, Boots – Exact) I wore this outfit last weekend on Sunday when I went out for a little bit with my boyfriend. I’m loving the Autumn colours right now, however I am still waiting for it to peak so the trees will be covered in orange and red. At the moment they are still half green. My head looks like it’s hunched up in some of these photos, it’s not though, it was because my hair with covering my collar a lot and since it’s the same colour as the jacket, it blended in. I’m wearing J Brand Velvet Jeans, my Topshop Faux Leather Biker Jacket, a Pieces Faux Fur Collar, a Forever 21 T-Shirt and my KG by Kurt Geiger Winona Boots. This was my first time actually wearing a pair of velvet jeans as well. I love the colour of them so much, it’s gorgeous! Also, don’t forget to enter my Spirit Hood giveaway that I’m running with Mimi Noor. It ends in 6 days time so you still have a little while left to enter. Anyway what do you think of the outfit?
