Currently Craving Wish List: October 2017

I know I say it every single time I do these roundups, but I seriously feel like the time is speeding up the closer it gets to the end of the year. It’s what it feels like. Sometimes I can’t believe that another week has passed and it only felt like 2 days went by. It’s kind of scary! But since everything is changing and more and more items are coming out to buy, these posts are always exciting! My wish list collage above has a varied mix of things in it that I think are really cool. The purple and blue iridescent bag is stunning, those jeans are classic, the velvet embroidered slip dress would be ideal with the leather jacket, the yellow knitwear is so vibrant, the star print wrap dress would be perfect with the burgundy thigh high boots! The yellow velvet blazer is just amazing, as are the white and black booties, then the pink bag is beautiful, and everyone needs a fancy candle. There’s a combination of high and low pieces here and you could create so many different outfits with each of them. That’s something I often envision when I create the collages. Citizens of Humanity always make some of the best skinny jeans, as do AGOLDE, so that’s why I often include them in my roundups as jeans are the ultimate base for me. I…

Currently Craving Wish List: September 2017

Each time I do my monthly roundups like this, I find it hard to understand just how fast the month flies by! I mean as of tomorrow, it’s officially 3 months until Christmas and it doesn’t feel like it was that long ago I was in St. Ives in June or even celebrating Valentine’s Day in February. I swear as we age, time accelerates. For my Currently Craving Wish List this month though, I’ve rounded up a mixture of things I really love, some of which I now own, and some of which I would love to own, so lets see what’s here! First up is the limited edition Boda Skins leather jacket with the floral silk lining. I don’t think it needs much explanation as it’s a feminine and elegant take on a biker jacket, but the price is too steep for me unfortunately. The jeans I love because I’m feeling mid blue washes like that at the moment and the cropped legs! The pale pink blazer is just chic and the perfect way to dress up my denim, while that cat print shirt, also from Topshop, is so quirky, I just adore it! Currently Craving Wish List: August 2017

It was the month of my birthday and even though that was at the beginning, it still feels like it was months ago in a really weird way, however the year as a whole has flown by. It was only Christmas not long ago, I’m sure! I’m thinking that it’s even weirder that I’m going to be 30 in 11 months time! That’s insane! It’s relevant though as every year that goes by, my personal style evolves a lot more and it’s interesting to see how much it’s changed since I started blogging (which you can see here if you missed it). So, with that in mind, what’s on my Currently Craving Wish List for August then? A lot of things! As you can see from the collage above, my mentality is happily transitioning into the Autumn with the pieces that I’m craving and loving. I can’t wait for the weather to cool down so that I can start wearing layers again! Gosh, layers, remember those? I’m loving floral and embellishments at the moment, so that Rebecca Minkoff bag and the two Gucci options are so gorgeous! I’m happy just to stare at them. Currently Craving Wish List: July 2017

0 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10 For this month’s Currently Craving Wish List for July, I’ve done a whole mix of things. I’m still pretty much sticking to my shopping ban – I’ve only purchased a sale top (it was too good to pass up) and a birthday present (sharing that with you soon) in the last two months, which I think is really good for me! I feel like my mindset is changing a lot lately and although there’s things that I love and have added to my wish list, I always ask myself the question ‘but do I need it?’ and then if the answer is still yes in a few weeks time, it’s definitely something to consider purchasing, rather than making an impulse buy on something expensive. It certainly doesn’t stop me lusting over loads of things though, which is why I love the wish lists to share them with you! First up, I included two more affordable bags instead of opting for designer ones this time, so the grey and nude palette of the Rebecca Minkoff bags here, especially with embroidery, is ideal! It reminds me of a beautifully designed living room in that colour and print. Then of course I always adore leather jackets, especially from ALLSAINTS, so that mushroom one is just perfection! Burgundy jeans are something I love in the winter and these are super stretchy! I also have a small obsession with faded black washes in skinny jeans now too, so those Citizens of Humanity are high…

Currently Craving: June 2017

My Currently Craving Wish List For June! Can you believe another month has come and gone so fast yet again? It’s madness for me to think that I was putting together my Currently Craving Wish List a whole month ago, when it feels like last week. June has definitely been a very busy month, for both work, health, and holiday, so I am excited to see what July brings. I did mention to you that I am still on a shopping ban (excludes gifts), which I have been on since the 20th May and I still haven’t broken yet. However, that never stops me craving items all the time and browsing online to see what’s new! As I always do for my wish lists, I round up my favourite items of the month to share with you. Usually I do this in a collage, but I have a better way of doing it this time which is much more interactive and easier for you to use. So the items I have chosen are listed below in two columns, and all you have to do is click them. As the sun was shining all weekend and it was just like summer, my wish list is very summery indeed. I’ve included denim shorts, jeans, hats, sunglasses, espadrilles, bags, lip gloss and even a glow in the dark Cambridge Satchel, which I thought was really cool. I can imagine it for festivals at night. I’m loving everything here though, I really need those embroidered shorts, the espadrilles, the hat and the sunglasses! Happy Summer everyone! My Unique HOUSE of BOTTA Wish List

I was recently introduced to the brand HOUSE of BOTTA and I’m pleased to say that I think the concept is incredibly cool! So much so that I wanted to share it with you. The company was founded by two people that believe in female empowerment, wanting to bring more women into business, so they launched in 2017. But what is HOUSE of BOTTA? Let me tell you! The founders were unimpressed with the high street shopping here in the UK as the choices were very limited in style and quality, unless you are ready to pay the high end prices for Gucci, Chanel etc. Being tired of disposable shopping (where nothing lasts more than one season) with every shop offering their own take on specific trends, the duo decided enough was enough and HOUSE of BOTTA was born. Understanding how difficult it is for new starting brands and designers to get stocked in big retailers, they decided to create a place where quality ideas and collections can be sold straight to the customers. HOUSE of BOTTA contains a selection of 36 brands (and growing) from upcoming fashion designers who are selling their unique clothes and accessories. None of these are available on the high street and every piece is unique, from all over the world. Quality is key though, they don’t just accept anyone! They hand pick the best brands with a level of quality and uniqueness so it stands out among the crowd. Currently Craving: April

Adam and I celebrate our 9 year anniversary tomorrow, which is even more cause for wondering where the time has vanished. The end of the month though always means it’s time for my Currently Craving Wish List! So for this month of April, I’ve chosen 10 products that I adore and wanted to share with you, a few of which have made it into my mail already. First up is a Topshop Coral Suit Jacket and it’s so gorgeous! Coral is something that I’ve loved for years as I’m sure you all know, so I’m extremely happy that it’s back on the scene. It comes with a matching skirt and you will be seeing this outfit soon on the blog, but for a fun blazer for Spring, it’s ideal! And keeping in line with coral, I have the Cambridge Satchel Neon Coral Barrel Backpack which you can see there! It’s truly stunning and I’m reviewing it very soon too (they have free embossing right now)! While we’re on the subject of bags though, I’ve wanted the Gucci Dionysus Suede Bag in Taupe for months, but the cross-body one I want is sold out in the whole of Europe and only available in the US, which isn’t a possibility for me, so number 2 might be a good alternative instead.
